    Thanks for all the ongoing education! A question: Do I assume that even though you could not get Nav Canada approval for the height AGL you wanted with a sRPAS you could use a sub 250 RPAS at that height without fear of being captured by the negligent or reckless clause?

      CARS 900.06 is the only concern in that location and the way the flight was conducted was certainly intended to be neither reckless (without care for persons) nor negligent (unaware of or disregarding safety concerns).
      Things to consider are not climbing into clear air without double and triple checking for aircraft. Stay below rooftop height unless required, don’t go too far and risk loss of signal or situational awareness. Consider winds and other hazards…like seagulls!

    Awesome video, thanks! Very useful. I'd love to see a video of how the job was executed downtown. If it says 100 foot limit in that area, could you fly 100 feet over a building height?

      Definitely. Marshall shot 3 hours of behind the scenes when we flew the job and we’re working on a full length case study of it for our courses now. (There will be sneak peaks on RUclips as well).
