I've only ridden The Smoky Mountain Alpine Coaster and the Goat Coaster while I was in Pigeon Forge last June. I prefer the Goat Coaster more because although it wasn't as long of a ride, it was pretty close and it felt much faster with more parts to it where it felt like you would come off the track even though it wouldn't. It was also of course cheaper which made it feel more worth it.
Wish I had this information a few months ago .. my oldest went on the one at anakeesta. It was cool seeing you in hersheypark today keep up the adventure!
I'm a wood coaster guy & really not a huge fan of mountain coasters since they all are so similar, but I do enjoy them & will ride one if I'm close. Like, since I'll be in the area, I'll ride the one at Mt. Hood late Aug or early Sept since it's one of the few trough-style mountain coasters in the U.S. with an amazing view of Mt. Hood if it's not cloudy. These are always expensive, but I don't include price when ranking roller coasters, I only consider what the ride feels like. The park, price, operators, dispatch times, none of that matters to me, only the ride sensation. I also think Rocky Top is a little better than the others.
What did you use for filming coasters and did any of them have policys against filming you ride ? We have a trip planned in a couple weeks to head down there .
Yes a lot of parks have policies you can get park approval by submitting a form in certain situations as far as mountain coasters go anybody can. I used i GoPro for that
@ThemeParkMotivation Thanks 😊 , I have a 360 camera and I filmed a mountain coaster in Branson , just wasn't sure if there'd be any different policy's on gatlinburg mountain coasters
Your #1 choice Rocky Top totally SUCKED!! It stopped and started again over and over. It didn't keep going, just kept slowing down and stopping! Alpine coaster and the Ober Mountain coaster are the best. They keep flying, not stopping.
I’m sorry that you felt that way as I said it was also based on price and rocky top was longest and cheapest by a lot. Sure others didn’t stop but they also made the ride seem way overpriced
Yes I agree. I think all of them are overpriced. But they should all give a roller coaster ride, not slowing down and stopping so much. It was just very annoying. All the others are good rides but the Goat coaster at Goats on the Roof also brakes you some even though you don't want them to.
Very helpful video thanks
💚
Wow it’s so cool
Thanks please consider subscribing I have more mountain coaster Content coming out today or tomorrow
Thanks for the cool surprised you didn’t like Ripleys I like the view on Ripleys, but it was a little rough
Shoulders were killing after that one it was fast though I did like that. Thanks for watching

There’s really not a bad one except the single rail I felt because of its limited capabilities and short ride

They are very pricey but a lot of fun
I've only been on Goat Coaster and loved it.
So many great ones
I
feel like the scenery for Rocky Top Mountain wasn't as charming as some of the other ones. which one would you suggest for having the best views?

@@adclass72 nope they basically only have a mount or vest policy
💯
💚
It would have been good to experience each ride in its entirety and although some prices were given, not all.
I did mention that I also have full pov’s of these mountain coasters this was just an overview of which ones are best my opinion of course.
Is that a black rabbit on the right at 1:32?
Yes
