After a U.S. judge ruled to continue Johnny Depp's libel suit against ex-wife Amber Heard, Heard's legal team continues to present their case with witnesses taking the stand to corroborate Amber's testimony. Depp is suing Heard for $50 million over a 2018 opt-ed she wrote in The Washington Post describing herself as a "public figure representing domestic abuse" and Johnny claims her article defamed him and cost him Pirates 6. Heard is countersuing Depp for $100 million.

If I was being constantly abused and had to deal with an Amber. I too would be drinking more, becoming more “dark” and “unhappy”, going to work forgetting my lines and just being completely distraught. Everyone has been saying he got worse over time. This is a defamation trial. If she didn’t intend to defame him then she needed to rescind the accusations. Both parties guilty of verbal abuse. But no evidence that he physically abused her. Period. Justice for Johnny.

Agreed!! Not even in ONE recording (which have a crazy amount of hours included) did she mention any abuse on his part, only hers. I think its clear he does drugs, he's jealous.. that doesn't give any woman a right to hit a man. I've been asking the same since seeing the first photo ages back , she is full of it , and has done an injustice to women that actually suffer domestic abuse ... however johnny has done a good 5hing speaking about it as hopefully it will no longer be a taboo. I am doing my best to remain as impartial as possible, but I agree, had that bottle incident happened she would have had trouble walking, if she was beaten with those rings her face would have been mash up, if her feet were badly cut there's no way she'd have been able to walk, if these things only happened when he was drinking and on drugs which is when she claims he was so off his fave he didn't remember what he'd done he would surely have lost that control in front of other people. Don't get me wrong I do not think he is squeaky clean as there are recordings and evidence of verbal abuse from him, I have heard a recording of him admitting to headbutting her but that could easily have been him admitting to catching her with his head as he described it, but there are multiple recordings of her admitting physically abusing him, her story is all over the place, she claimed her sister was walking down the stairs, her sister told us she was going up, and that's just one example, those recording show a completely different person to the person presented in court. Yes he may well be guilty of domestic abuse I just don't know but if he is but it's clear that so is she, at most it was 6 of one and half a dozen of the other!
So the bottle thing is a SA story that her old PA told her in confidence, which Amber has stolen and claimed as her own, this PA also testified for Johnny as she was slapped and spat on, alongside being verbally abused by amber. The story of the PA’s traumatic experience has been found as a declaration or something, really hope Johnny’s lawyers know this, as to steal someone’s horrendous account of something that actually happened to them is just vile, she is absolutely disgusting for that, and she is obviously the abuser in the relationship, not to mention the ridiculous amounts of perjury she has committed

Doesnt the judge specifically say daily not to look up or research or read anything to do with this case while its in progress? People, who believe that she's the victim, probably don't understand how bruises work. Her injuries are not even as bad as mine when I accidentally dropped my phone on my face. Needless to say, if Johnny hit her countlessly with his rings on, she would be hospitalized for sure 🙂

Or the fact that her bruises showed yellowing in pictures the next day and also makeup artist testifies she had yellow discoloration around eyes and nose. She also described it as a light bruising.. Bruises dont start turning yellow until it starts healing and most likely would not have had yellow bruising the next day. Im pretty sure received botox and that was the cause of the bruising.. That or the make up artist helped her stage pictures.. The makeup artist says" I have CREATED and Covered bruises with makeup"
my abusive ex once grabbed me by both arms, shoved me against the wall and held me there, screaming into my face for all of 20 seconds. I had bruises up and down my arms for weeks just from that. The other time he smashed a door shut on my head and i had a broken nose that almost required surgery, two black eyes and i gash in my forehead that required 22 stitches. And she walks away basically unscathed? I don’t believe a word. Johnny is not innocent by any means but she’s using his worst moments as an addict to play up her abuse and turn it into something entirely different. Johnny is a drunk with anger issues and he most definitely took it out on her. But she is a manipulative, integanizing, narcissistic woman with deep issues. She fights dirty. Johnny was vulnerable to her and she used that to her advantage. Still doesn’t make what he did any less abusive or wrong. But i don’t believe for a second that he beat her

That female attorney of Scamber's is a real piece of work. She was asking questions that were inappropriate to JD's lawyer. What kind of lawyer is she? She should know what she can or cannot ask.
They're not inappropriate questions, they are in fact very relevant questions but the witness, JDs attorney, is being instructed not to answer as they involve discussions with his client, JD. ,which fall under attorney-client privilege and are protected from disclosure.
She knows he will not answer but she create a narrative." Did Johnny told you to publish this",he will not answer but the jury now knows that he is the one who did it.

Lawyers will sometimes purposely ask questions they know can be objected to, ie involving something another person told the witness, which is called hearsay and usually not allowed- it's up to the opposing attorney to make the objection , it is not up to the judge..

PLEASE, listen to some lawyers break it down: This psychiatrist did not do this deposition so willingly. By law he was required and he was legally subpoenae'd to speak. He's saying the least amount he can say here. And his testimony is benefiting Johnny's case. He seems to care. Compare his testimony to Amber's witnesses. He cares!!!

Then dates Musk and gets him to created embryos (later didn’t want to actually carry a baby so got a surrogate to do the hard part). Things ended with money man Musk so she tried to go back to Johnny but thankfully he said no and didn’t allow him to “touch” him. Musk takes her to court because he knew she’d try and use the embryos to get big child support money out of him. So now she’s back with a woman, oh that’s right, she was supposedly married to a woman when she started the affair with Johnny (dang, can’t be faithful to anyone)…anyway, now with a woman who’s cancer can back in 2019 and based off what we’ve learned about her, an ‘actress’ that most of us had never heard of before this trial, she’s with that woman hoping she’ll die and leave all of her assets to Amber. I wonder if she has a life insurance policy? 🤔🤔🤔 Yeah, The world knows what kind of woman Heard is and thinks she’s scum of the Earth. Women who have legitimately been abused hate her, too, because her bs claims make it look bad for them! We’re all hoping that Johnny wins this and Heard has to serve jail time for her lies and that we never have to hear her name or see her fake expressions and horrible acting ever again.

And Amber's lawyer just seems to be reveling in digging around trying to find something. I'm embarrassed even listening to it, because it is SO inappropriate. HOW IS THIS EVEN LEGAL?!! Depp would have had to authorize it. Also what were your thoughts on Depp’s team hiring a forensic psychologist to diagnose Amber with a condition her own long term therapist had not. Let alone that it was based largely on the notes provided by a doctor and nurse paid $100k/month by Johnny Depp? And that it happened to be the same condition we heard Johnny accusing her of having in audio clips? And that this psychiatrist also had dinner and drinks with me Depp, which is not done.
@@LeahSessions Amber went into those sessions knowing what it was for, and it seemed it was primarily in the form of written questions, but this doctor is disclosing a lot of information that was presumably said in confidence. Big difference. In the questioning that was done about the notes, it seemed more pointed as far as whether there were or were not injuries, and what was said specifically about the alleged events in question, but in this interview, it seemed to just be 'digging around' for anything personally negative. I kept waiting for an objection for 'foundation', but in these recorded depositions, it's hard to even follow what's happening because of so much being edited out.
This is against patient / doctor confidentiality. Shouldn't be allowed
Do you want to know the worst part of this entire case? Lying under oath is *perjury.* Yet, nothing is ever done on perjury cases, so taking the oath means *absolutely nothing.*
Check Emily Baker, attorney's podcast & youtube channel. She smartly broke down why Johnny Depp's psychiatrist was allowed to speak about their sessions. She explained that 1) Mr. Depp approved this; and 2) Depp's team felt this was a strategic move & better than some alternatives. 3) Emily Baker explained that this psychiatrist's testimony in fact, showed great compassion for Johnny. And worked better for Johnny. He seemed to care. As opposed to most of Amber's witnesses. He is NOT disobeying HIPPA laws.
Exactly. I heard (no pun intended) nothing about JD saying HE abused AH and needed help for that. To use drugs and liquor, being jealous and showing high voiced frustration is not equal to be an women abuser and a bottle rapist.

The instruction from the Judge to the Jury sounds good, but it is never practical unless each Jury is locked up in a separate room with no windows, no TV, no Computer, no Cell phone...!!!..It just against human nature to go on for weeks without contact with the rest of the world.

But the audio and his evidence proves that she did. So why are they dragging this around the "abuse" she claims that Johnny did.

I agree. But it makes the violence seem more plausible. If they can show that he was a drunk - especially a mean, nasty drunk - it'll make people more likely to think he was capable of violence whilst intoxicated. And possibly can't even remember it.
Which isn't such a ridiculous argument; I mean, if otherwise good people are ever going to get violent, it's usually while they're drunk. And if you are an alcoholic or drink for enough years, the chances you'll get in a physical altercation are usually going to be higher than if you never drank.
Sure, there's long-term drunks who have never been in a fight. But there's also people who would never have been in a fight, were it not for them being drunk. There's a definite relationship between alcohol and violence - not saying it's guaranteed, but it's there.
So if they can get enough evidence and testimony pointing in that direction - that he was violent to her - that's really all they have to do. Bit by bit, building the narrative they want people to swallow. No definitive evidence, no one person that saw it all. Just lots of little things that point in that direction.
I thought he had it in the bag, but right now I'm not so sure the jury will see it that way, in all honesty. But still, there's a ways to go yet.

Lol, he was joking…kind of a running joke every morning before entering the courthouse. When he got out of his ride prior to entering the courthouse a few days ago, the crowd was cheering and shouting “we love you Johnny!” etc. so he stopped and acknowledged them as he always does, then looked at the camera, pointed at the crowd and said “Family. All of em. They’re all family” or something to that effect

I think it was wrong on every level that JDs psychotherapist was allowed to break patient confidentiality. Trust is a huge part of building a client and doctor relationship. I can't believe that JD gave permission for this.

They are only meant to report a client if that client is in danger to others or themselves. But to read his notes from his sessions. Wrong.

The guy was subpoenaed including all related documents on JD. If he insists on patient- doctor confidentiality, JD has to submit himself to a forensic psychiatrist appointed by both party, similar to what AH went through (with both Dr. Curry & Dr. Hughes). Instead of submitting yourself to these people who might be submitting partial report, you'd rather be with someone who knows your medical record and will be more symphathetic to your cause. Besides, JD team might thought this to be a good strategy.

Her questioning of him I actually found to be smart. First she asked in general, which he could answer, questions like does a client ultimately decide what you are allowed to say to the press. Or would you request a retraction if a client asked you to, etc. Of course the answer was yes. He works for the client. Then when she drove the points home asking the same questions but specific to Depp, his not answering didn’t matter, because he had already generally stated he wouldn’t issue statements against a clients wishes or without information provided by the client. This is the crux of a defamation case.

If her statements, especially that of rape, are deemed to be true with no supporting evidence, then how does one recover a reputation? Can any man be verbally accused with no supporting evidence? Although this is about reputation and money damages, I feel it’s just as serious as a criminal case. I have a hard time with anyone accusing another, verbally, with no supporting evidence. Rape is a serious allegation and she just gets up to make him coffee the next morning? If she is awarded damages for that, in my opinion, fake facial photo, then WATCH OUT ALL MEN OF WORLD! This is a high-profile case and repercussions will be felt all over the world, win or lose. Also, in my opinion, just a man’s willingness to voluntarily speak up against such serious claims is significant. The multiple police officers stating NO evidence found is important in that it counters that ONE face photo. Believe me, movie production companies are following this case, too. If I didn’t know either of them, I would consider hard evidence, as opposed to verbal claims.
