After a U.S. judge ruled to continue Johnny Depp's libel suit against ex-wife Amber Heard, Heard's legal team continues to present their case with another witness, Raquel Pennington, Amber's former best friend. Depp is suing Heard for $50 million over a 2018 opt-ed she wrote in The Washington Post describing herself as a "public figure representing domestic abuse" and Johnny claims her article defamed him and cost him Pirates 6. Heard is countersuing Depp for $100 million.

Ok so my ex husband abused me for 20 years! He abused me physically, mentally, verbally, emotionally, financially and sexually! My ex husband had a knack to use scare tactics! Such as; He would literally beat himself up to the point he’d be bleeding! He would slam his face into a door or a wall to make sure that his face would be red, puffy cheeks, swollen, he’d give himself a black eye and split his lip! There would be blood everywhere! I mean there would be so much that I couldn’t tell where the blood was coming from!! He is crazy! He is a lunatic! He is a psycho! He is a narcissist! So these pics of Amber “LYING” Heards so called bruised face means absolutely nothing to me! The reason for that is, she should have more swelling that makeup cannot hide because you cannot cover it up! Remember, these type of people will do anything and everything for people to believe them! I truly believe that she used Johnny to get ahead in her career and it obviously worked because he got her that role in Aquaman! When Johnny couldn’t take it anymore, is when she realized she was losing control over him and her marriage! Narcissists retaliate! And that exactly what she’s doing!

My thing is, if we women of domestic abuse have a hard time talking about it, can you imagine how much harder it is for men to talk about it? Men are supposed to be out protectors, strong! Think about it, Depp is willing to expose all.of.his dirty laundry just to clear his name. If he truly abused her, knowing all of this information would come to light...he wouldn't waste his time. I am inclined to believe him. He is risking everyone knowing about his addictions and weaknesses just to prove a point. He has enough money, and could live comfortably for the rest of his life but this is more important. I do hope he tackles addiction and starts to heal from this madness.

Amber is very emotionally disturbed!

The next day tho (most likely after talking with ambers council) ofc she’s crying and crying and crying. She acted better than amber tho because i actually saw tears😏

Advice to all DV victims: Go to hospital for documentation. File police report soon after. Tape record and video record if possible.

Even if her story were true she was a master manipulator. Didn’t report to police because wanted to protect JD, uses it as leverage to stop media making her look bad, all while tryna maximise divorce settlement, then when it suits gets protection order but goes to meet him secretly yelling I just want to touch you blah blah blah. You either report it at the time to cops and have medicos document everything or you shut up about it publicly.
And whatever you do if you get a restraining order DO NOT CONTACT YOUR ABUSER. Use the time to get your life together

The sad thing about this is that everyone knew about their toxic relationship, the fights, the drinking, the drugs the alleged abuse on both sides, and no one did anything to help either one of them. If the life she shared with Johnny was so awful, she didn’t want the domestic violence to come to light, wanted to keep this private, she just wanted to protect him, then why did she write the op ed in the first place. Did she not think people would connect the dots, she didn’t say 10 years ago....... Johnny’s by far no angel but he didn’t write anything about any of this, he kept quiet, he’s only coming forward now to gain his reputation back. He’s been very open with his alcohol and drug use.
She thought that he arranged for some hit pieces to be written about her, so she written it as revenge. She admitted to it yesterday.
She wrote it because that’s the typical behavior of someone who is a narcissist and lost control of everything including her marriage and husband! I truly believe that she used to Johnny to get ahead in her career! It was going her way until he said he wanted out of the marriage! She also stated that she has nothing! That she worked from the bottom to get to the top! But yet, Johnny helped her get the role in AquaMan! Look at how generous Johnny is by allowing all these people to live in his apartments, condos, penthouses, etc. etc. Again, when she realized that Johnny was gonna leave because he needed to get away from all that toxicities, she became enraged! It was heard that she was taunting him, she was mocking him, and she belittled him!

Things change once you leave. You get perspective, you realize the abuse you were in. When in it, you are trauma bonded, want to protect, under a spell of attachment. Domestic violence is a highly codependent intense relationship. It takes leaving and many many years to process. I do agree it was pretty obvious it was about him. Not sure its wrong to speak out about domestic violence. It would be if it were untrue but it appears to be. Victims of abuse should not have to walk away in silence just because the perpetrator is famous or powerful

Notice how Amber's friend said at first that she noticed Depp was angry and felt a bit stressed so she left in a hurry, and then the lawyer kept going back to that point, asking her if she went to a hiding place, etc. till it turned into some story way larger than her original one.
If she was really abused.. then she should really consider changing the people around her. Not one seems to care enough to report the allegedly abuse. But every one around her is shameless enough to stay rent free in houses don't belong to them but addressed the place as theirs. Disgusting people.

If we’re to believe all this testimony, all of the people in Amber’s life - Sister, best friend, best friend’s fiancé, Amber’s parents - are such users that they’re willing to watch Amber be beaten regularly but don’t do anything about it - because they don’t want to miss out on all the great perks of being around Johnny Depp. The free penthouses, trips, drugs, etc… outweighed the life of their friend / sister.

From a woman who's been in a very violent abusive relationship I feel like this is not it. Do I think they fought and things were thrown and broken? Yes! Does that make you an abuser no? They were both cruel in what they said to each other during fights but again that doesn't make someone physically abusive. You do not act the way she acted during fights if your terrified of someone.. Love or not. I thought I was in love too but I never once said anything out of the way to my ex.
Throwing and breaking things can be a form of abuse. Saying cruel things during fights is a form of abuse, even though it's not physical.

Make-up artist says "looked like she was head butted". I dated a guy who started to get physical hitting me, and he put his hands on me the third time, and I head butted him, and a bunch of men came to my rescue because he was going to beat me up.
