I've had this gimbal for a couple of years now. It was mostly sitting in the case because I didn't understand how to use it. Good review, I needed to see a decent review of this again. I find most people that purchase gimbals don't really use them much. I own the Smooth Q, got it for $70 CAD from the Facebook Market two years ago. I'm finally at a point of putting it the some use. I have determined that I don't really think it is all that important for this gimbal to be controllable by Filmic Pro or any other app for that matter (except the Zhiyun app of course). Occasional use mean, I'm going to be relearning the features each time and that always goes better using the smartphone screen instead of complex button clicks. This gimbal is a solid performer, find one used and you won't regret the purchase. I saw one on the FB Market just today for $60 CAD.

Excellent video. I was thinking about getting a cheap good performing gimbal for an event Id like to document tomorrow. Might still do it, but the prices you mention earlier in the video have gone up since I guess. 99 is the cheapest retail place I can walk in and get one today. But great video. I been wanting to try one of these since I saw how good my drone's camera worked.

I think the apps mainly will only work with an iPhone. If it’s an android, it doesn’t really work. But I don’t mind because I don’t really use the apps, mainly just the main buttons on the gimbal.
It should work with the S20 Plus as long as you don't have a case on. I think this or one close to it is under $100 or close to $100 at Best Buy. Are you here in the US?
It could technically but you would have to rig it to fit it. It’s really meant for a phone. I have seen videos of people making adapters from stuff they bought at Home Depot.
I tried it with IPhone 8 Plus couldn’t calibrate won’t stay balanced Maybe something has to do with the weight of the phone. Is anyone experiencing that with iPhone 8 Plus?

This was a good review . I just bought single axis gimbal and now realizing i need a 3 axis gimbal.

I retired this gimnal because of a problem using it when my phone was set to wide angle. Part of the gimnal mechanism was in view.
