Are you a pilot? I notice the location of your videos seem to be close to active small private airfields. Did you discover these from the air? This location is within a couple of miles of a seasonal grass strips.
METRA.... of course they would leave this set of carriages way out in the boonies and cry for more money.... we have a set near the CALI/AZ border, abandoned in the desert on the old AZ-San Diego RR... LOLOL! Metra needs to round up ALL of its parked passenger cars and run them through thier rebuild shop (like they ARE supposed to be doing) per agreement with the Government, State of Illinois, and CSX, UP, AMTRAK to save money and provide rail service to the Greater Chicagoland and TriState area. I seriously doubt it and its a shame....... We tax payers are funding open graft, theft, and racketeering it's a joke.... Read up on Metra.... it will make you laugh, cry, and angry all at the same time!! OKAY I'm done raving.... These carriages are in still reasonable great shape. These would be an easy refurb to back to service. That batch out here is a little bit sketchy and raunchy, but had bones leftover for parts or complete R&R Thanks for taking us on a tour. I hope they get back in service soon....👍
