I have a Rover with a Baja Rack on it and they say that their brackets do not support anything other than a straight awning which baffles me... I was about to go pick up an Alucab ShadowAwn, but as an Overland Bound member (who I learned about your products from!) I've decided to get a 6k through them. Let me know if you'd like me to do an install video, I have good camera/sound equipment.
Been looking for an awning for a 170"WB 4x4 Sprinter van... This Wraptor 6K looks awesome! Do you know of any Sprinter owners who have installed these? Imagine the deployment of the awning might be a little challenging with the height of the van, but doable? I'm 6'2", but would likely still need a stool to reach it comfortably.
We’ve got to add this to our Mojave overland rig! Best one I’ve seen yet. Hands down

Baja racks are 1" tube. You should be able to use our brackets. Their awning brackets aren't very good.

Yes it does. People use through bolt it to the side of a box trailer
What is the recommended max mounting height? Looking for a 270 awning with walls for an Intech discover. roof rack bar is at 120in.
Doesn't matter as long as you csn reach it! People put them on high roof vsns all the time. That's sprinter height.
What is the maximum spacing between the roof rack mounts? And, how close should the back mount be to the pivot point?
about 78 inches max. closer the hinge is to the bracket the better!
Will there be awning walls/rooms for sale accompanying this the 4K and 6K awning?
we already have walls available!
Where are your awnings manufactured?
Overseas. We'd love to make them here but cost would be 3k$ an awning unfortunately.
What’s the actual weight of the 4k and 6k awning?
42 lbs for 4k and 61 lbs for 6k.
Any passenger side options for us van guys?
Yes they come passenger side as well just for that reason.pics of them on vans on our site.
