If you are thinking of throwing the nade because you think they've rotated or are close to pushing don't 2nd guess yourself. Just do it and get your gun back out. 80% of my games I end up with 300-400 utility damage. It can easy provide you with extra info from the burn tick sounds to people running when they see nades or flashes and a simple smoke can deter people from pushing. My advice is just do it and get your gun back out while listening for sound queues

A corollary tip to no. 10 is changing the colour of your HUD and crosshair. It gives you that momentarily boost in focus or attention or whatever you might want to call it.
I would say not remove enemies names, because you learn where they play and if they are only player left on enemy team you can predict what site they are holding on CT.

I played 16x9 for like 150h, then around 50-70h in 4:3 non-stretched, and it became slightly better. In stretched 4:3 it started to be great. In addition I just put my monitor closer.
There is workshop maps convig generator u can select any pro players settings just by shooting a few things but I did like the changing up your croshair tip ✌️
I set my push to talk to one of my spare mouse buttons. Keeps your fingers free for the rest of the things as you wont have to move your hand for the mic button

That's much harder to do with colours. A better way to not tilt is to understand that the current match you're playing does not define you as a player. If you do bad or are getting owned, you're not a bad player. You're just doing bad at the moment. And sometimes it just be like that

Aspect Ratio isn't "personal preference", use 5:4 (1280x1024) because you have way bigger models to hit. Remind that you need to change your m_yaw to fix your x-Speed

Before I was buy 144hz monitor i use regular 60hz.. but, "hack" is when u play 4:3 resolution, u can type -freq 75 and your monitor is boosted to 75hz only in CSGO :) and, that +15 hz are HUGE difference to my eyes in those days.. But 144hz now is perfect :)

That changing crosshair thing instead of sensitivity really works. I never watched any tips, I just tried to experiment. Then when I changed my crosshair with gap in the center, it's easier to aim. I used to play with small gaps or just center dot, but I recommend crosshair with big gaps
Also one thing to keep in note is in most games, lowering your settings will put more load onto your CPU, but as cs is more CPU then gpu anyway, it won't matter as much unless you have a really weak system, putting your settings to medium, can help with frame times in some instances but not all, this tends to be if youre pairing something like a 1050 ti with a core 2 quad, for instance, I may be wrong but this is what I've personally seen and if i am wrong, i wouldn't mind having someone explain why
There is also another factor that can make you play better by giving you motivation : skins, as simple as it sounds, skins can easily improve your plays by giving you more motivation to play the game and show-off. I recommend buying skins for only the weapons you play the most (ex : for an awper : buy an awp, pistols and ssg and nothing else), so you will only play with those particular weapons. You dont need to spend thousands of dollars to get decent skins.

That clear decals optimally ought to be set to clear all decals when you let go of your mouse1. So whenever you stop shooting. It is the most efficient. To manually toggle it with a key or while moving forward is just not as efficient.

You have to be careful with high settings even if you have 200+ fps, that can lead to drops which are above 144fps but they still fuck up your aim! You need to test this especially with a lot of mollys and smokes around!

My best frag was 52-18, in a very long MM game and we tied, I wasn't smurfing, maybe it was my luckiest day, it was on AK1 as I remember correctly.. I was not smurfing, but I played a game smurfing a long time ago and did 50-14 but it doenst count.
clear decals sounds well and good but if you are a matchmaking hero and not a 5 man playing officials, your teammates will have calls like "I hit him over there!!" and you just know where the enemy was by seing the blood on the wall :D so it's not a good setting for every situation :)

As someone who played at a very high level for more than 10 years mainly 1.6 and early csgo There's no magical settings to make u better at the game The way to get better is practice and trying to play with and against as good opponents as possible.

Having push to talk on a thumb button on the mouse really helped me. Not having to move any fingers to make callouts is critical when playing anchor.

I increased my digital vibrance and went from Gold Nova 1 to Global Elite in just 60 days. The jump bind got me three ranks from DMG to LE.

Also one thing to keep in note is in most games, lowering your settings will put more load onto your CPU, but as cs is more CPU then gpu anyway, it won't matter as much unless you have a really weak system, putting your settings to medium, can help with frame times in some instances but not all, this tends to be if youre pairing something like a 1050 ti with a core 2 quad, for instance, I may be wrong but this is what I've personally seen and if i am wrong, i wouldn't mind having someone explain why

There is also another factor that can make you play better by giving you motivation : skins, as simple as it sounds, skins can easily improve your plays by giving you more motivation to play the game and show-off. I recommend buying skins for only the weapons you play the most (ex : for an awper : buy an awp, pistols and ssg and nothing else), so you will only play with those particular weapons. You dont need to spend thousands of dollars to get decent skins.

Lets say you're playing on a 1440p 16:9 monitor.
On a normal 16:9 monitor the pixel density is 2560 × 1440.
In game with 4:3 ratio set on, the pixel density is 1920 x 1440.
So, obviously there are fewer pixels being rendered by the game engine in the 4:3 ratio.
The width pixels (1920 per line) are stretched out to the sides by 33% to fill up the empty pixel gap on a 16:9 wide monitor, making the game render 1920 x 1440 pixels onto a 2560 x 1440p monitor. This makes everything appear wider than it actually is, and you're moving your mouse within a 1920 x 1440p space when the actual monitor space is bigger. The downside of this of course is that your field of view is smaller to the sides so you might miss something as you point out later in the video.
So is it better? i don't know. I personally play on 16:9 and prefer seeing more things on my screen, but it absolutely works.

That clear decals optimally ought to be set to clear all decals when you let go of your mouse1. So whenever you stop shooting. It is the most efficient. To manually toggle it with a key or while moving forward is just not as efficient.

1. For the cleardecals part, I combine my WASD keys with cleardecals command so everytime I move, the arena is clean af 😆😆
2. Yes, resolution is our personal preference. I think it is nonsense to determine someone is best because he/she using stretched res. I ever play for long time with stretch res and my main problem is sometimes my crosshair placement is not good, having difficult time to hit headshot using deagle, and its make me tense to see fast enemy. Now I change to native res and the result is positive for me. I could stable enough using deagle. But since I played with stretch res for a long time, I have slight advantage with native res because my reaction is slightly fast.
3. For the crosshair part, I always use medium crosshair since its consistent to hit my enemy and I don't have difficult time to see my crosshair. I can't use small crosshair since it makes eyestrain for me

The only problem that comes with removing the usernames is that you can't tell your teammates to focus on 1 spot if you know that the 1 player will come from a sertion place because you figured out that he is the 1 sites anchor
You have to be careful with high settings even if you have 200+ fps, that can lead to drops which are above 144fps but they still fuck up your aim! You need to test this especially with a lot of mollys and smokes around!

I also spent lot of time in silver, the only way to rank up is you need to find a team. Playing regularly with them and understanding each other’s gameplay is key in csgo. You will rank up in no time afterwards.
My best frag was 52-18, in a very long MM game and we tied, I wasn't smurfing, maybe it was my luckiest day, it was on AK1 as I remember correctly.. I was not smurfing, but I played a game smurfing a long time ago and did 50-14 but it doenst count.

clear decals sounds well and good but if you are a matchmaking hero and not a 5 man playing officials, your teammates will have calls like "I hit him over there!!" and you just know where the enemy was by seing the blood on the wall :D so it's not a good setting for every situation :)
