The dreads were the idea of our fantastic cover/thumbnail artist Maria Sanyuk :) All 3 of us thought they looked amazing when she sent it 🤘 Thanks for watching dude!
Thanks for including an amazing bass singer. This song makes me want to charge into battle with a hammer in my right hand and a sword in my left hand bellowing Odin's Name.
The first time I heard Eric’s voice was in this song. When he first started singing, I froze. That man has the voice of an earthquake. It comes up out of the deep crevices of the earth and through your bones. You don’t just hear it, you experience it. I love your reactions to this. This video made my day!
Eric out there on the battlefield with a Dragon jaw bone great sword just straight up slaying 🐉, miracle of sound wielding Dragon claymore sword double grip tearing up every single Dragon 🐉that's flying in the air white Peyton is Duel-Wielding a Dragon long sword and Dragon spearhead smashing every single Dragon 🐉that is running up or heading from back of the group 😲 🔪
Here is the thing I love about the video...the MoS guy (Gavin) he's performing so happy...Peyton is bringing the anger...and Eric is there bringing the wisdom will tell you how it is and he don't care how you react
Not happy, performing for his own sence of self. (the narcissistic type) Peyton Parrish is the type to lose himself in the music, giving heart and soul (the singing in the shower type where only the music matters) and Eric is stoic and impassive, a proffesional.
Speaking as a man who has fought in a melee, (Foam weaponry), it is an enormous boon when someone starts a song or a chant like this. The smell of sweat, dirt, steel, body paint, and later on blood, all lend itself to the feeling of combat. Advancing with your group. Marching as you shout war cries to the heavens. Seeing the determination in your foes eyes across the field. It bolsters you makes you feel more alive and able. Front and center in the shield wall with a pair of former Marines to my right, a submarine tech behind me, an army artilleryman to my left. They started up "I don't know but I've been told!" The other 200 combatants on our side picked it up. There is little that is more powerful than hundreds of voices joined together as one. Honestly I wish more chant songs like this went for more singers. It adds extra depth and emotions. It adds power. This was one voice added. Imagine a hundred!
As a Marine and Soldier... I know first hand what Valhalla awaits for those who die in the heat of battle. I've lost many brothers in every conflict from the beginning at Tun Tavern, PA 1775 to today and even in future wars that the United States Marines and Army will ever be a part of. This song brings out not only the Viking genes within my blood, but brings out the Devildog within me. In fact, during the Battle of Belleau Wood, Germany in WWII the Marines were call Teufelshund meaning Devil Dogs. Because Marines, like Vikings, fight with a ferocity like pit bulls from the depths of Hell itself. So this song, whether it's the Duet or Trio version bring chills up the spine and ignite the fires within Marines and Soldiers hearts.
Yeah... You have nothing culturally or historically to do with ancient Scandinavia, yet Valhall is somehow a thing linked with US Marines 🤣 That's like me, a Scandinavian, saying I feel the connection with ancient Sparta or the Zulu Nation 🤣 Dumb ass Americans... Stick to your own history. I know it's short and boring, but it's all you've got

Chronos & Gaia(mother earth in Greek mythology) Athena was the goddess of war & wisdom who was birthed from Zeus' forehead. Phenomenal reaction & credit must be given to the 3 gentlemen; THIS is how you refresh an already incredible song. Sometimes the answer isn't reaching new heights, but digging to new depths.
Eric Hollaway is not a man. He is a force of nature. He is an earth elemental walking among us and the ground itself resonates with him. You do not HEAR Eric Hollaway. You WITHSTAND him.
Omg when the guy with the deep voice sang pluck the strings of destiny I got goose bump, I love deep vocals and I just started tearing up when that deep note was hit. It felt like someone punched me in the gut, but in a good way. Made me want to get out there and fight.
Ngl this version of this song made my body light up like I was ready to run out and suplex my car. This is on my work out mix cuz I can hear Valhalla's Call and so I answer it with everything I have to prove myself.
That dude just made my hole house vibrate, I wasn't expecting such a low frequency, I have check how low it was, but it 6 o'clock in the morning her in Denmark. Wouldn't wake the neighbours. Ohh goosebumps are still pulsating: )

We’ve just heard the voices of Odin Allfather, Tyr and Thor. Ragnarok is upon us. Thanks for checking this out-I immediately thought of you when I heard it.
Viking Brother Dave, your facial expressions are golden. I can only imagine that's what I looked like the first time I experienced this video. I love your final analyst of each person. The tank, bard and berserker. Fun fact I don't know if you know, but Viking culture has many other cultures within their own. It wasn't the whole "full white" ideology we have today. There is a reason why SOME people believe that the vikings were Muslims, and it was because they had Mulsims living with them. Yes some were slaves, but not all. That was the thing of the time. Russ from Russia means to row. Vikings traveled to Asia, Africa and Vinland (U.S.) trading and of course pillaging. Stating that even the women were just as fierce. I feel Peyton, Eric and Miracle of sound all knew this which makes this collab so much more powerful. Not only does it bring out the warrior within it shows how accepting and mixed Norse culture was. It shows unity, something we need right now.

Eric's ultrabass voice gives me the third reaction, it makes me aspire to reach such deepness of voice, I already had some decent bass singing hymns as a teen but I've let my voice decay since then, I can still get it back and learn the ways of the king of bass.
O, and I used to do full contact armored combat and I generally preferred using a Glave or halbred and did axe and shield when needed Getting on in years and am teaching the kid and her shield sister's these days. Keeps the little laddy bucks honest whenever they see em suit up and "play"
So Dave, to your question I'm someone that suffered from anger issues for a long time. (Past has been beaten by the by) I'm a lot calmer now but i do tap into that former part of myself when I sing along with these types of songs but rather than pure anger comes out melodic but fiery like these fine fellows and no question I'd likely have been a berserker of sorts in my past life if that were true. Keep up the content man doing great and love your reactions.

I love the “far from the fjords and the ice cold currents, ravens soar over new frontiers” that shit deep
Absolutely love this!!
Gave me goosebumps this song
Great Great Job... I am a Viking and go to Valhalla

That man’s bass voice will haunt your soul!
And I think his dreads are actually pulled back behind his head and tied up.
That voice from Eric dear God sounds out of this world
I died when you said he became a horn. Now its all I hear on the oooooo ooooo.
Bro Holloway adds that thunder the song needed POWERFUL!!!
To this day i still don't get why Amerikkalaiset call them Vikings when the word for us is Norse and "Viking" is a term for going raiding.
Eric joining in is like Odin himself doing a trio with Peyton and Miracle of Sound
I have a friend who actually went to High School with Peyton Parrish. They were in the same Graduating Class in High School. It is pretty cool that I know someone who knows him.
