Eric is an Oktavist--that is the lowest vocal range and is very rare. They drop off the low end of a concert grand piano. It's a Russian word because the only music written specifically including that vocal range is Russian Orthodox liturgical music and Russian folk songs. This is my favorite version of this song. The trio gives it such breadth.

Miracle of sound of the original writer of this song, it blows my mind of how many people out there do not know that and it’s saddening because it’s literally his own song lmao

The version with Peyton and Gavin is more of a production-with a video as backdrop. This one is more three dudes singing. Gavin looks like he’s just having fun-and damn proud of this song (as well he should be-this song deserves to be iconic). Peyton looks like a modern-day Viking ready to come rip your lungs out. And then there’s Eric, with the T-shirt and Hulk backdrop. LOL. The sound on this one is fabulous and Eric adds a dimension, though.

As you can see in the comments for the duet version, when Payton walks into frame he’s glaring at the mic like it just insulted his mother.

Miracle Of Sound, Gavin Dunne's one man band, is AMAZING! He has done original songs about video games, movies, shows, history, the works! All in different styles!
Would LOVE to see you react to more from him. Midnight Blue (Elden Ring), The Man Who Rocked The World (a David Bowie tribute), Road Rage (Mad Max: Fury Road), or Sweet L.A. (L.A. Noire, a personal fav) are all great!
... Or you could jump into the deep end with Messing With The Best. =P

Miracle of Sound has a large number of songs inspired by various video games, TV shows and movies (as well as plenty of fully original stuff) The original version of Vahalla Calling was inspired by Assassin's Creed: Valhalla. He has songs inspired by the God of War series (since you mention Eric voicing Kratos 😉) as well as other Assassin's Creed games, the Witcher series and many more (for a laugh check out his song "Shooter Guy"). Possibly my favourite of his movie based songs is Road Rage (inspired by Mad Max: Fury Road) and he has 5 or 6 separate songs inspired by the Game of Thrones series alone.

This is quite interesting, as you would expect a Viking song to be.
The singers bring the intensity and fierce determination of warriors attacking their foes.

Miracle gets you in contact with Odin to let him know you are ready to fight, Peyton gets your heart racing, turns on the fire in your eye and gets your blood boiling. Eric fuels your heart with a faith that nothing can stand in your way, that you are the earth, wind and thunder comming to destroy your enemies.

Of the versions of this song I’ve heard, the versions with Gavin (miracle of sound) solo, duet and trio are equal first in my mind, the Voiceplay version is a very very distant 4th.
Valhalla calling is based on the assassin’s creed: Valhalla game
Miracle of sound has been making songs based on different genres for a long time and are some of my favourites to jam out to, including but not limited to, Breaking down the borders, Commander Shepard, joker’s song and the Tale of Cu Chulain, which is about a figure from Irish mythology who may have actually existed.

I think my favorite version of this song is duo of Gavin (Miracle of Sound) and Payton, exactly the video that has them both with amazing video parts from the game (I also absolutely love the main character of this game so it's even more exciting for me personally)

Fantastic video as per usual! Miracle of Sound has done a tone of songs based on video games and movies, like Valhalla Calling for Assassin’s Creed Valhalla. I think my recommendation for other songs by him is either Roll Out or Breaking Down the Borders. Honestly, any of them are phenomenal, so it’s difficult to just choose 2.

Honestly if this song doesn't make you want to rip your shirt off, grab an umbrella and a trash bin lid, bust the door off its hinges and run screaming out the door to pillage the neighbor's garage....you're not doing it right. Though that might just be Peyton Parrish and the 120 percent he puts into everything. 10/10 would follow into battle.
