Always verify the MD5 Sum after the file transfer and before installing. Once had a USB Flash drive corrupt files that it transferred. That was a bad day.
Hey, thanks for the video. Very helpful. Only thing: I believe you have it reversed at 3:43. The files you said WILL be deleted have a tag that reads "File is in use, will not delete" and the files you said WILL NOT be deleted have a tag that reads "The following files will be deleted."
what happen if I re-image and older version IOS XE firmware to replace newer firmware came with the switch, example: the c9300 comes with 17.5.x and I want to put 16.12.7, will the clean command remove IOS XE package 17.5.x correctly? Any1 input will be appreciated.
What should your thumb drive be formatted as..FAT32, FAT, NTFS..etc? Also how large should it be Min/Max size? Does the drive have to be a proprietary Cisco thumb drive?
confused - you stated to install in "Bundle mode" run these new commands but then at the end when you validated the new version it was in Install mode. If you have a stack would you now use Install mode instead of Bundle mode?

No need for Cisco proprietary. NTFS won’t work. If I recall I used FAT32 and 8GB size partition.
