Y’all should look up Corey’s solo performance of “snuff” shows his true range as a vocalist and it’s one of the most beautiful songs ever. It’s now dedicated to a former band member Paul grey who passed away.
I know and it's so true like in Stone Sour I couldn't stand people that said he isn't anything all he does is Scream and I said well you know you need to check out some other stuff because he's got a beautiful voice but I do love duality
I'm from and currently in Iowa, slipknot is definitely well known in the state, and my favorite band. Their concerts are absolutely works of art and the music has gotten me through some of the toughest times in my life. I even have a signed bottle of whiskey! Thank you for this, I love seeing people loving slipknot!! Corey Taylor is one of the most talented musicians ever. Much love!
Their drummer Joey Jordison (RIP) was one of the best of all time, his speed and precision was unmatched. You should check out the live drum cam versions of him playing Disasterpiece or Herectic Anthem.
I’ve got to ‘jump the fuck up’ a few times now! Seeing them live is something one could never ever describe! And every time it just gets better and better! Corey is so good at crowd control!!
It's impossible to capture on video how crazy this is. I've seen slipknot 11 times now and have done this spit it out jump a few times. The entire crowd gets as low to the ground as possible then at one spot in the song everyone jumps up hard and fast banging into each other then stomps the ground as you land. If there are enough people and you're in the middle of it you can literally feel the ground shake!
Can confirm. I've only seen them twice but the last time was at knotfest and they did the entire Iowa album, it was (by far) the best live show I've ever attended. 🤘🤘🤘
Legit comment... there's there's literally no way one can describe how it feels when you're down on the ground waiting in anticipation for Corey to yell jump the fuk up... and when he does, it releases all that fucking energy that's balled up inside of you, the band, and the 20,000 maggots around you, it's unlike no other. You'd have to be there to understand
Rip Joey ... was at one point ranked 3rd as the fastest drummer I seen him live 10 times his kicks were so hard if you were in the front literally took your breath away at how hard he played its just sad the disease he had took everything from him 😔
When I saw joey/slipknot at 14 for vol 3 tour i was like seeing gods perform. I'm still a huge slipknot fan but at the time, at 14, slipknot was my life. Thats all i listened to and seeing them front row to the point Paul himself handed me his bass pick. I have it framed it even has his fingerprint. One of my greatest moments of my life ill forever cherish. RIP Paul and Joey, true Metal gods.
I love Slipknot. They're the kind of band that knows how to put on a show. They're better live than anything. Saw them at Louder than Life in Louisville.
Appreciate that you actually look up stuff and read it aloud rather than just guess/speculate. So much misinformation on the internet nowadays, feels like a breath of fresh air for a reaction channel to research what you are reacting to live during the reaction and learning stuff together with your viewers!
My sons went to LA a couple years ago and were in the All out Life video for Slipknot. Proud mom moment..and also super proud of my kids for following their own musical dreams. Super cool!
i’ve been to hundreds of concerts, and slipknot puts on one of the best i’ve seen. one small thing i appreciate about them is that Corey always closes their shows with that same “take care of yourselves, take care of each other” talk. seeing them again this summer at Download Festival with Metallica (and a ridiculous # of other amazing bands) and can’t wait.
Slipknot was my first metal band I fell in love with. Never got to see them live and never will with their amazing original lineup but their music is here forever. We need a metal hall of fame
Korn was mine. But i purchased that CD, they’re all in red jumper suits. Still my fav. Limpbizkit also. Yeah, millennial immigrant. Went dark. Still am.
Loved it! My son is a huge Slipknot fan and he has seen them 12 times and he said they do this everytime..he`s 37 now so he said it`s a little harder to get down ,lol, but he still does.Keep On Rockin'
I was there for this! Watching this gave me chills and tears of joy in my eyes. The whole set that show was phenomenal. Bit jealous that you get to discover Slipknot for the first time 😊
Seen them quite a few times, so good live. 1st time was 2001 at Ozzfest, seeing them again this yr at Download festival (same festival as in this video, but the 20th anniversary) takin my 10 y/o its gonna be her 1st time seeing slipknot live.
I'm not a Slipknot fan, but this made my heart race and tear up a bit. Absolutely epic. Look at all the flags, how many people went to UK just to see them.
Love this slipknot video. Seen it Hella times throughout the years. Watched it a couple days ago too lol For real though rip Joey jordison (drummer) and Paul gray (bassist)
You guys should definitely check out “Ice Nine Kills” stabbing in the dark live at the Palladium Worcester. Some of the best live performances I’ve been blessed to see in person. And just like slipknot they are PERFORMERS, masks, outfits everything and it’s amazing.
There were 100,000 people there at that concert in the video above. I saw Slipknot four times in the DMV area Joey was the drummer. Definitely my favorite band.
Thing is, no video will ever do a live performance justice. The energy of the crowd, the feel of the bass going through your body; metal concerts are a real fun experience, especially if you want to go crazy in a mosh pit.
I was force fed these guys in the late 90s and never spit um back up. You have not lived until you have seen them live. Best crowd control in the business, best energy. Maggot for life 🤘🖤
This had to be the most fun I've ever had during a concert!!! Not this particular show, but just getting to be a part of this during one of his shows is cathartic to say the very least!!!! Now you all need to see the other side, the "softer" side of Corey if you will. Snuff live is Amazing! another good one from Corey at the helm is From Can to Can't or Bother with his other band Stone Sour. He crosses many genres of music and has an amazing voice when he actually sings
I have been listening to Slipknot for 20+ years. This is one of my favorite songs. I will always remember the time they have whole floor at the Denver Coliseum moshing. It was literally a wave of mosh pit. You guys should check out Sic.... that song go hard in the paint. Real talk.

I got to see them once also in 2009 for their All Hope is Gone tour in Charlotte NC with Trivium and Coheed and Cambria, my older brother took me for my 12th birthday, such a great experience I will never forget
Corey Taylor, the lead singer, raps a lot on their self-titled album, definitely worth checking out lyrical versions of their songs when reacting to Slipknot 🙂. Also the live version of this song from the Disasterpieces DVD is waaaayyyyyyyy better than this version in my opinion. This version has a shit ton of views due to crowd size but Slipknot's performance here I feel isn't their best. Great reaction though guys!!!
Corey Taylor is amazing and has done songs with rappers like Tech nine! Hope to see more slipknot/Corey Taylor Reactions!!!! You guys are my favorite reactors!

I would love to see you guys react to a Rammstein live song as they put on almost a theatre show with lots of props, special effects and an insane ammount of pyrotechnics!
Y’all should’ve did a reaction to the actual music video, THAT shit is badass..also, there’s a claymation video for an older song called wait and bleed that I think y’all would enjoy
I literally just found y'all's channel with a reaction to Chris Stapleton..I subbed right away, then came to this video as soon as I saw Slipknot. They're definitely my top 3 fave bands...along with Linkin Park and Nirvana. Love y'all's reaction!

You have to do Slaughter To Prevail and their song Demolisher. It'll be the heaviest thing you've probably heard and it's great to put on for a work out. The reactions to that song have millions of views. It came out a few years ago
It's always great seeing reaction videos to the greatest concert we got to attend. My brother tells me that some guy stood near him refused to sit down so he ended up getting hit with bottles and burgers. Glad you done a video on it.

I was in that crowd, Download is the UKs biggest metal festival. Attended it 3 times worked there 4 times. Being in the middle of 250.000 people moshing to spit it out is an experience that is hard to describe. Absolutely incredible.
I was at Download 2009, I still get chills watching the set back as it was Insane. When everyone got down, we were half way back in the crowd and couldn't believe how many, like us were already down before Corey had finished asking.......\m/
In my opinion, the SINGLE best ripple effect from the popularity of music reaction videos is that people who otherwise would never take a chance on music/genres unfamiliar to their comfort zone willingly do so. I get each channel's hunt for the views, I do, but its just great to see that despite that initially being the primary motivator, a ton of strangers to metal come into this with an open enough mind and are quite often surprised to find some new musical magic to enjoy on their own time. We should all explore music for ourselves like this all the time. Its like food: No one makes food intended to taste bad and in turn, every musician/band etc makes something they feel to be beautiful. Why not take more chances on experiencing the beauty other people do?
I've been to a Slipknot concert before, I was lucky enough to see Joey, but it was after Paul passed. They had a tribute to Paul in the show. But Corey makes every crowd get down and records it. It's amazing to be a part of
I've seen these guys live 9 times and I get goosebumps everytime they play this song live and everytime I listnen to this song. If you guys get the chance to , go see these guys live. You won't regret it.
They are excellent at crowd control. We always listen when Corey speaks. Their concerts are so much fun!!!!!
Nothing brings metalhead unity like a good "JUMP THE FUCK UP"!
Agreed 😊😊😊
Shoulda sent him to reign in the MAGA traitors on Jan 6 😂
Agree 100%. One of my favorite bands to see live.
They did this in Seattle and it was fuvking AWESOME
Everytime I see more metalheads joining the fam I get a tear in my eye. There IS hope for humanity!! \m/ \m/ Glad you enjoyed!
They don't read their comments. I have never seen them respond

Another light song is “Circle.” Very haunting.
