I worked at a Chevy dealer when these were new. They were the hot ticket when they came out in ‘95. Took a new forest green over gold ‘97 LT to Atlanta for a work trip over a long weekend. Comfortable, plenty of power. About the best mid size SUV you could buy at the time. Still a good looking truck. Had to be an older retired original owner with all the maintenance labels under the hood. Nice find.

My mom had an '84 S10 Blazer...1st Generation. And we went everywhere in that little truck. Very reliable! The only bad thing...it had the TINY 2.8 V6, possibly the smallest V6 GM has ever made. And it only had 95 HP. I'll never understand why they made a 6 that small, it may as well have been a 4 cylinder. But for the time, it did the job. This is excellent example of the 2nd generation Blazer. No doubt it will make a nice daily driver for somebody. I'd love to buy it, if I had the money. Love those Blazers.

This and the Oldsmobile Bravado were really beautiful SUV's, much better looking than today's SUV's but that's my opinion so no pressure to anyone who loves modern dsy SUV's. I know that this is unnecessary but whenever a owner changes the radio they should keep the original one somewhere so if they sell it, the next owner can reinstall it if wanted.

If all the parts in these cars were factory new, and the cars were maintained at or exceeding OEM recommended intervals, do you think they’d last as long as and behave as well as Toyotas?

@@thesilentgeneration1711 well Toyota’s are also know for being able to be abused and due to over engineering they can take it, but I wanted to know if you babied these older GM vehicles if they’d last as long as any good Toyota.

@@pod9363 These trucks would be just as durable as any Toyota 4Runner of the same vintage if maintained by the owners manuals recommended intervals, but a 4Runner would likely last longer than this would if abused.
