These are so underrated, I have a 96 as well, same color, LT, black leather interior, all stock and it does pretty damn good in everything from snow to gravel to mud

I had this same color in a 1997, same wheels. Great vehicle. I kind of miss it. I haven't had it since 2010.

GM messed up with the next or last generation before they dropped out of the market thus allowing Jeep and Toyota their base. Land Rover too.

Awesome! No problems so far (knock on wood). Done a few road trips in it as well and some minor off - roading too
+East Coast Outdoorsman how is it on long trips as far as comfort
Very comfortable vehicle for travel! The leather still has lots of cushion and the driver's seat lumbar is awesome too. Longest trips I've been on in her were about 2.5 - 3 hrs... and again I was comfortable the whole ride. I'd imagine sitting in the second row of seats wouldn't be as comfy since there isn't a whole lot of thigh support back there but that's not really even a problem in my opinion

Yeah I'm probably going to try to get a lift kit for Christmas... I'd like to go up at least another 2-3". Probably upgrade to some 31" mudders when I do that as well along with some tire spacers

I have 03 that color the console is to far to the left so my right leg is touching it all the time left leg is touching the door speaker because it is out to far looses coolant speedometer makes noise vehicle viberates and lights inside can't decide when to work outside lights come on as soon as the key is on wiper blades are sitting to high l could go on and on had a 97 ford explorer with over 200 hundred thousand miles and it was great the blazer still under 100 thousand miles and is just a low quality auto can't wait to get rid of it

Mine is amazing mines a 1995 but they are amazing handles the Colorado back roads great they are die hard have same amount of miles off road beats my Cherokee hands down
Go to junkyard and find a newer early ‘00s factory GM CD player that will just plug & play, and looks nice factory clean.

jay fraser theres so many of them the newer ones are so cheap and the engines ive been told are very good and you can get them in low mileage easily like under a 100,000 km

Yeah I'd say so, I believe that's right around the average price for these Blazers now. I payed a little more because of the off road lights too

96 Blazer 4 door 4 wheel drive 131,000 on motor, 239,000 on body. runs good no issues.
