I'll be following your footsteps soon! How do I ensure that my wife and I will be able to view the coastline and Irish Sea? Are the double seats always on the wrong side? Thanks in advance!
Hi mate, thanks for watching - The solo seats were on the left hand side (travelling from Belfast to Dublin) but you can get 2 solo seats facing each other.
I often use Avanti Voyagers between Rhyl and Chester, for the extra £8 return for first class over standard, it is a no brainer. Apart from the comfort, the lack of crowding, the complimentary food and drink alone, makes it actually a cheaper way to travel than buying drinks and snacks from the TFW trolley service on their standard class only trains.
Hi mate, thanks for watching. You’re absolutely right, I always chose AWC on that route for the very same reasons!? A couple of beers, a nice seat - sorted.
Well done on the video and you have my thanks for the re-upload
Rode one of those from Derby to Edinburg in 2006 1st class and the train was almost brand new as we had a bombardier technician on board in case of problems
Is it possible to go direct form holyhead to London?
Hi mate, thanks for watching - no, i dont think so you may need to change at Crewe.
@@TheGeordieTravels thats not true - trains depart Holyhead at 05:49, 06:49, 08:53, 12:49 and 14:49 to London
Very enjoyable video mate, train looked very empty!
Cheers mate, appreciated. I was the only one in 1st class until Bangor then there were 2 of us. Standard was also very quiet.
@@TheGeordieTravels doesn't seem like a very busy route for Avanti
Great review! Im suprised you were brave enough to ride on a voager... theyre the bain of rail in my opinion, absoloutely hate em haha. Fab vid
Cheers mate - appreciated as alway. Yeah, I admit they’re not my favourite either but better than Criss Country’s version.
very nice to travel with you.

Hi mate, thanks for watching - appreciated.
how do i see your map
Is there a reason some of these runs aren’t going all the way to Euston?
Not sure mate - this one terminated at Crewe
Good video
Cheers mate, appreciated
Superb🌹🌹🌹🌹🌹🌹
Thank you 🙏 for watching - very much appreciated.
For the number of passengers on this route, a 2-car train would suffice I think :)
Hi thanks for watching. Appreciated. Yes I agree, the train was very quiet - even standard.
For gods sake don't encourage anyone to shorten their trains. TfW are already a disgrace in this regard.
