Nice video there! These buttons on the top of the camera you mentioned in the beginning are actually for the dedicated flash unit "Clibo" that could be used with the Clack. Furthermore, I find it really interesting to use a ISO400 film while the camera has a fixed speed of (i think) 1/30s of a second - personally I love the "Ilford Pan F Plus" 120 film, which is at around ISO50 (more close to the ~ISO45 that the films originally meant for this camera had). But I 've got some FOMA400lying around - maybe I'll test them out. Anyway - you got my subscription! Cheers.
Very informative. The knob on top is not for “rewinding”, as 120 film is not rewound into a canister like 35mm is. The knob on top is for advancing the film after making an exposure.
Thank you for the video, very helpful! I was thinking- what would happen if I would take a picture while between apertures, so that I could see two holes in the lens? :)
I like your idea! That's exactly the greatest thing about these old gears that they let you experiment and explore with curiosity without limits. Thanks for sharing your thought!
hey I have a question, I bought the same camera from the video today and everything is working, the buttons, the opening things. But at 5:05 I saw that you could see your finger through the lens, I cannot see anything through my lens, it's yellow and murky. Do you know if I could fix this? Or is the lens not fixable:( that would make me really sad:(
Hey thanks for watching. I wouldn't say that's something major, but it has to be fixed! You should be able to see through the lens if the shutter is kept open (try the B mode and press the shutter and keep it pressed down) at this point, there's nothing in the way so you should see through the lens. Otherwise, it's probably nothing amd it's easily fixable by doing a cleaning. Let me know if you succeed 🍀
I mentioned the problem in a text shortly in the video: while loading the film into the reel, the bathroom door opened and caused an exposure. this made the developed film come out really dark but there were two frames actually that could be seen (not visible in the video) and I scanned them and was able to make that picture out of them. and you can see that picture at the end of the video. thanks for watching by the way!
Amazing explanation. I bought this camera at a flea market today. I’m excited to test it out. Subscribed.
I know nothing about cameras and recently purchased one of these at a flea market so thanks for the help!
Glad that I helped ;) I try to keep making more videos
Wonderful video, I've got one my grandfather had and it's lovely to be able to use it!
You should definitely try it now! have fun

The two knobs on cameras right top are for the flash. The two knobs are connectors that ignite the magnesium flash bulb.
Thanks for the useful information 🙏🏻🍀

Thank you and yes indeed! You are correct. I said it out of habit.
Great video, thank you. I recently got one of these, and now I'm ready to try it!
My grandpa had one of these. Love it! Thanks for the video

I purchased one at Hyderabad . Recently in 2023 December..

Hi, thanks for watching! it's great to know you liked it. I have to be honest though, I'm not quite sure what blitz means... what do you mean by that?
Thank you so much. This is very helpful to me.
Glad that I helped

shutter speed fixed at 1/35? they must have had steady hands :)
Sure :)) back then photography was not easy
What happened? Any problems with the developing process? I was very curious to see the result of this camera
