Some customers don't want to hear this but often times they are the reason for this issue because of misspelled addresses and not listing apartment and suite numbers. I've seen packages van scanned that upon a quick Google search actually were supposed to go to the other side of the state. Other times when FedEx systems can't pin point an address namely due to new developments they often guess and those also end up on the wrong van and can get bounced around for a few days until it ends up on the right van.
this 100% anytime an address is misspelled or has extra characters, package handlers don't which truck it goes and if it does go to the right truck, the address sits at the top of the scanner where we might miss it!
Every time I get a notification that a package was sent from a company via FedEx I cringe. Never have I had so many delayed packages or damaged packages delivered by any company in my entire life. I absolutely hate FedEx.

UPS actually lost my package... $3,000 down the drain. Insurance was on the package but apparently they don't pay out more than $500 for jewelry. Thanks UPS for losing my watch.
Same thing happened to me too with ups paid 1,500$ dollars for a new phone said it would be delivered by 7 pm waited all night all day next day and next week nothing with no update
I've noticed a lot of drivers fedex, ups, amazon driving around with their doors open. There needs to be an inspection of your truck before and after every delivery to make sure the doors are closed
@@llgarboll3570 If your package is damaged, 95% of the time it happened in a warehouse or while loading/unloading a trailer. FedEx stuffs boxes down belts with no regard for possible damage. Drivers have a code we can use for damaged/needs inspection and we're happy to use it to not get blamed for damage we didn't cause. If your package shows up with damage beyond a crushed corner or split tape, ask your driver why he didn't code 10 it or ask for a repack at the terminal.
My FedEx package tracking shows it departed the Quebec location on feb 13th and was expected to arrive on the 14th. Well now it’s the 21st and no movement nor update. Either the employees are incompetent or scummy thieves. All of the address information was correct and accurate. It’s 20lbs so it’s not possible to be “misplaced”. Fedex did an investigation and are not taking responsibility and said to contact the shipper. Once it’s in FedEx’s possession, they need to be held accountable

4 individual FedEx packages all 3-4 days behind tracking and supposed to be delivered today when they’re apparently still in transit after the origin scan
Knowing where your Package goes from its Original Place where is shipped, to its Final Destination, is so important. It can definitely know if your Package will be shipped out to you, very timely.

Talking about underselling and over delivering, FedEx told me my package from IL to western Canada will be delivered in 2 days and getting me my hopes up😆😆. I have 2 packages at this time that have been pending for more than 3 days. Sent from different states. I sell online and I get a lot of my inventory delivered by FedEx. I used to love them; they were excellent. Ever since 2020 I have only had 2 packages arrive on time without going through a pending period of a few to several days. FedEx is not the same as it used to be, I am calling my supplier tomorrow and letting them know that they really need to consider using UPS. I never thought I would say that, but it is that bad.
He’s wrong about a lot. Makes sense cause drivers aren’t FedEx employees so they don’t have access to the systems like that. They’re authorized vendors that work for independent contractors that buy or rent the vans and make contracts with FedEx.

I can tell you the drivers have absolutely nothing to do with the technical process. Literally most don’t even load their own vans unless there’s a particular organization they prefer. All they do is take the preloaded van( there’s literally a shift called preload) and follow the gps and stop where it tells them to. The dude in this video has almost no facts. Probably a majority of speculation and a bit of second/third/fourth hand diluted stories.
It's so annoying for me because I live in Louisiana and the night before I'll get a text saying your package will arrive tomorrow and then last minute I get a text saying no it's still stuck in Texas tomorrow and that happens every single time
As a retail customer service representative who works in a call center, a lost package will definitely be a DSAT (1 star or dissatisfied) for us therefore affecting our monthly score that we must maintain otherwise we'll lose our job. I hope people who order online will watch videos like these so that they'll realize that we do not control the delivery status of their packages.

Best Buy shipping seems to be notorious about this delay and abysmal delivery date estimates. It’s been 3 days of when the package was expected and it still says delayed.

I appreciate this insight very much. I sell custom yard signs with my sister on etsy, and we keep going back and forth with USPS for not updating tracking. We ship with priority mail, so it's just irritating. Especially, when there's an actual due date that the sign is needed. Like, I have a complaint from someone on etsy that they're concerned because they need the sign THIS weekend. I asked to file a claim for all 13 that still haven't moved, but I can't because it hasn't been 15 days yet since shipment. All I can do is put in a service request for 5 of them. 🤦♀ I'm usually a pretty kind and nice person to shipment people. I know everyone's low staffed. But it's just annoying that this happens like every single time that we ship with USPS. And now I have to find out how to change our shipping on etsy to UPS. See if things get better that way.
Hi Aby I'm sorry that you still never received your package. I am a customer service from FedEx. Most callers gets very frustrated with us. When package has no update after 7 days or more We actually advised caller to contact shipper to file a claim.
Fedex doesn't want to pay up when they deliver your package to the wrong house. We should be able to track the truck to make sure the truck is on the right street

Weight of the package claimed by the shipper matched with weight of the package once it was received by FedEx. I dropped a package to UPS and the Tracking Number On the Package haven't been Updating ever since so I reach out the them call them and film a claim online later on. however I eventaully stop by UPS store to chat with the employee who scan the package, and they tell me that I can try to stop by the local UPS Customer Center see if the package is still there because many people who lose their package do that, anyway your video is very helpful and insightful, and I learn a lot.
A package coming to me got lost in the Memphis TN hub, i opened a claim and then a couple of weeks later I got an email saying they believe they may have my package and asked me to verify the size of the jacket in the box, I replied with the size and a couple of days later they said they believe it’s a match and since that email I’ve received three emails saying FedEx is waiting to create a new tracking number, what do you think happened here? In fact, it’s suppose to arrive in roughly 2 days. It’s now Saturday night and it says it will arrive between 10am and 2pm on Monday. So, my question is, do you think it will still get here? Also, is it normal to go this long since the last scan or should it continue to be scanned as it crosses the country? Had a package that was set to deliver on Saturday 11/12, requiring a signature. Since I wasn't going to be home that weekend I figured I would redirect it to hold at my local FedEx store, so I can pick up at a later time. The request to redirect was approved. I’m in a Similiar situation but with UPS, I had a package coming in on Nov 22nd. My package was actually out for delivery that day but then the whole day went by and UPS never came. Then I get notified that there was a “sortation delay. You’ll get a new delivery date as soon as possible”. It is now Nov 26th and it’s still stuck on sortation delay. So I don’t know what’s going on with my package at all, since that was the last update I got from UPS which was on the 22nd. I’ve sent some emails to UPS customer service but they aren’t really helping either. So now I don’t know what to do, as this has never happened to me before.

Not really, by the time you get to the station, it’s all loaded up. You just have to recheck the van and see everything is in order. If it’s not perfect then you take some time to make everything in order so you’re quicker to deliver.

Best Buy shipping seems to be notorious about this delay and abysmal delivery date estimates. It’s been 3 days of when the package was expected and it still says delayed.

I appreciate this insight very much. I sell custom yard signs with my sister on etsy, and we keep going back and forth with USPS for not updating tracking. We ship with priority mail, so it's just irritating. Especially, when there's an actual due date that the sign is needed. Like, I have a complaint from someone on etsy that they're concerned because they need the sign THIS weekend. I asked to file a claim for all 13 that still haven't moved, but I can't because it hasn't been 15 days yet since shipment. All I can do is put in a service request for 5 of them. 🤦♀ I'm usually a pretty kind and nice person to shipment people. I know everyone's low staffed. But it's just annoying that this happens like every single time that we ship with USPS. And now I have to find out how to change our shipping on etsy to UPS. See if things get better that way.

Hi Aby I'm sorry that you still never received your package. I am a customer service from FedEx. Most callers gets very frustrated with us. When package has no update after 7 days or more We actually advised caller to contact shipper to file a claim.

Fedex doesn't want to pay up when they deliver your package to the wrong house. We should be able to track the truck to make sure the truck is on the right street

I too cringe when my stuff is shipped via fedex; no reflection on the drivers intended. If I am lucky my items arrive even though I have seen no changes in tracking info. Let's see what else: of the items they have lost, they always arrive in Hutchins, TX and drop into a black hole. What's the liklihood of an item being stolen from inside a FedEx package somewhere in transit and then delivered? Weight of the package claimed by the shipper matched with weight of the package once it was received by FedEx. The package had 3 items, and person who received the package claims one item (of course, the most expensive item) was missing. Does this happen?

I dropped a package to UPS and the Tracking Number On the Package haven't been Updating ever since so I reach out the them call them and film a claim online later on. however I eventaully stop by UPS store to chat with the employee who scan the package, and they tell me that I can try to stop by the local UPS Customer Center see if the package is still there because many people who lose their package do that, anyway your video is very helpful and insightful, and I learn a lot.

A package coming to me got lost in the Memphis TN hub, i opened a claim and then a couple of weeks later I got an email saying they believe they may have my package and asked me to verify the size of the jacket in the box, I replied with the size and a couple of days later they said they believe it’s a match and since that email I’ve received three emails saying FedEx is waiting to create a new tracking number, what do you think happened here? Okay, you probably won’t be able to answer this because you’re pretty popular and I’m sure you get hit up all the time with all sorts of questions. BUUTT, I have a package (it’s 10lbs and it’s in a 18”x12”x12” box (so pretty big/hard to lose). It’s coming from Anaheim, California to Pennsylvania (so all the way across the country). It’s been shipped ground and it’s been almost 4 days since it’s been scanned. The last scan said “Left FedEx Origin Facility, Anaheim California” and that was it. Now, it’s not lost or anything. In fact, it’s suppose to arrive in roughly 2 days. It’s now Saturday night and it says it will arrive between 10am and 2pm on Monday. So, my question is, do you think it will still get here? Also, is it normal to go this long since the last scan or should it continue to be scanned as it crosses the country? I’m nervous it’s going to be delayed and I’m the type of person to check my tracking like crazy, especially if it freezes up and stops tracking. Anywho, thank u for doing ur videos. Seller said “if u told me sooner I would’ve refunded” because I resell and I bought a item to flip but the usps missing reports usually take a month anyways so I didn’t reach out til I got 1 email. Comes to find out the seller scams some people.

USPS tracking has degraded to a partial SaaS shell of itself. They will track your package partially.., then you have to pay for service.

Had a package that was set to deliver on Saturday 11/12, requiring a signature. Since I wasn't going to be home that weekend I figured I would redirect it to hold at my local FedEx store, so I can pick up at a later time. The request to redirect was approved. However, since then, my package has just been sitting at a facility 20 minutes from me, and it has not been delivered to the FedEx store for pick up. There has been no update, and it just states a delay when I track it. Why is that? Has this happened to anyone before?
I’m in a Similiar situation but with UPS, I had a package coming in on Nov 22nd. My package was actually out for delivery that day but then the whole day went by and UPS never came. Then I get notified that there was a “sortation delay. You’ll get a new delivery date as soon as possible”. It is now Nov 26th and it’s still stuck on sortation delay. So I don’t know what’s going on with my package at all, since that was the last update I got from UPS which was on the 22nd. I’ve sent some emails to UPS customer service but they aren’t really helping either. So now I don’t know what to do, as this has never happened to me before.

Not really, by the time you get to the station, it’s all loaded up. You just have to recheck the van and see everything is in order. If it’s not perfect then you take some time to make everything in order so you’re quicker to deliver.

When something is stuck on pending and label created via FedEx. I received tracking 4 days ago and it still says the same stuff but the vendor has said it was shipped and sent me tracking via 17track and it says in transit but says the same stuff. What does this mean? Has it been lost? Mind you it is coming from HK China.
