I always assumed when you bought overnight shipping, the FedEx location descended into total chaos and some guy sprinted into the room, grabbed the package, boarded a jet, and raced to the destination before chucking the package out the window with a parachute attached to it. Then a fedex driver on the ground would retrieve it and place it on the front porch.
Just got off my night shift at the UPS Worldport Hub in Louisville, Kentucky. Come home and see this. I can never get away from work lmao. This video is on point tho, so great job man.
@Captain Chaos I haven't seen it but I believe it must look crazy haha I would pass by a ups and Amazon on my way to school which was the time that they would send off their delivery trucks so I would be in a parade of dozens of the same trucks haha
Same lol. I almost wish he went a little deeper and showed exactly where you’re package is when it was “picked up by the carrier.” Like does that mean it was picked up and is on the way? Does it mean it was picked up but isn’t on the way yet? I just want to know exactly where my package is 😭
As a FedEx truck driver, I STRONGLY recommend you use a package pickup location rather than home delivery. As states in the video, sometimes theres not enough Freight to warrant sending a truck or plane. However pickup locations act as collection points, which means they might just have enough Freight for regular service. Pickup locations are usually cheaper, quicker, and in an age of porch pirates, safer overall.
You need to visit Louisville. This video was annoying that he kept calling Louisville a "small city" and he was seriously wrong about the number of nightly UPS airplanes visiting the WORLD HUB at Louisville. It is around 400 planes, not the number he stated (incorrectly). You can see my reply to this video (above) in another note. Hon. Brennan James Callan, Col. Sorry but the Louisville operation is small compared to Memphis. UPS is a trucking company that owns planes. FedEx is an airline that owns trucks. The FedEx plane going to Louisville will return during the day for a day sort operation. The UPS plane going to Memphis will sit during the day because a truck is going to go to Louisville for its 2nd Day Air packages.
Just amazing to think how much time these companies might have spent to calculate out their finances so that they become profitable inspite of running so many planes, trucks, airport dues, fuel dues, employee salaries and many other costs
remember that they did not start out by calculating all of this and the setting it up, they started out small a long time ago and grew into this size, so all the calculation came in small steps: at first just" can we add a truck here, and there" then probably deciding that one plane is good for expanding, expanding more and more untill they are so big that they had a fleet of aircraft and even building an airport wanst a big risk anymore, and all the way every single profitable investment adds up while the wrong decisions get cut out. In the end you have something giant, hugely complex, extremely difficult to understand but working. BTW If you want to experience this effect yourself, you can. In the game Factorio.
Well it would be just like building a faster car, or building a home studio. It’s small steps. Not just one huge one. And they also go by what has worked for another companies.
My priceless respect to all the logistics companies and to the narrator as well. Honestly this is my very first time hearing somebody explaining the entire concept very well. You just got a new subscriber. OMG thanks for the likes 💓
As a UPS worker, this is 100% accurate. Overnight shipping used to be logitstics hell, but as more automation comes into play, it has gotten far easier.
Currently working for an Australian company (which will remain unnamed but its in the top three) and yeah seen a few guys arrested at the depot for taxing phones. Few years ago we use to get boxes of bulk cookies for a Cafe chain and they were "accidentally" broken open quite often.
Oh Vine That is very illegal in the US (probably the same everywhere else)... if you're caught stealing or opening packages that doesn't belong to you, getting fired will be the least of your worries.
Imagine if Spirit Ailrlines or Jet Blue could afford an autonomous sorting system like Fedex'? They wouldn't be as cheap. Humans handle it, so luggage delivery is doom to be inefficient
^ I've worked at Fedex and this is exactly the reason lol. You fuck up and leave those packages on a plane or a trailer, you get the big "F" for "Fired" because that's a few thousand dollars flying/driving away.
What a great video. I try to watch things on RUclips that is notable. I love to watch things that can be overlooked everyday in our busy individual days. I am a veteran who spent 4 tours in combat zones and always wondered how global shipping can be so efficient. I actually want to thank all of the hard workers that get up everyday and work so hard to make something like this possible. Hot or cold weather I am grateful for all the employees that make this work day in and day out.
Collin Everson great reply Collin, love reading good responses from level headed people, oh by the way we thank you for your service helping keep all of us safe..
My critical package UPS overnight from North Carolina to NY city is screwed up by UPS. My destination ( 30 miles from NY times square) is not in areas affected by inclement weather as per UPS . I booked it on Friday morning from North Carolina and it reached Philadelphia on Saturday and was just 124 miles from its destination in NYC . Sunday and Monday being Christmas there was no update. On Tuesday morning when it was supposed to reach NYC , I see the UPS' 'great routing technology ' ensured it unnecessarily took a south west turn to Louisville Kentucky instead of going north to NY city . Kentucky is at the heart of inclement weather conditions and my package is delayed and is now more than 600 miles from its destination. I don't know what to say. Such a stupid route planning when they say guaranteed delivery ? I won't accept it is due to the bad weather. This package seems to have been mindlessly routed to an area of severe weather conditions (inspite of best forecast available to them) and that too farther away from its destination.
I used to work for DHL in Hawaii, FedEx and Ups fly planes from Hawaii with mail and pineapple as there is not enough outbound freight. We never use or own planes, but shipped with comerical airlines, which adds another level of complexity to getting shipments delivered on time. That would be a great part 2. Good job.
This is how things really work... Being a former Industrial Engineer at UPS, and specifically having one assignment working in the Air for a period of time, I can tell you the overnight process begins well before anyone's asleep. Your analysis of FedEx being the largest air cargo carrier based on the size of their aircraft fleet is flawed. Those figures include small aircraft owned by FedEx. UPS operates chartered small aircraft well in excess of the FedEx fleet. It's cheaper to pay high charter fees than incur the maintenance costs associated with those aircraft, and not having full time employees who only work/fly a few hours per day, not to mention their healthcare expenses. (Don't tell FedEx this)! I can specifically tell you why FedEx and UPS are located in Memphis and Louisville. It's based on time zones only. The East Coast aircraft are the first to arrive and the last to depart. The West Coast aircraft are last to arrive, but the first aircraft to depart. They travel much greater distances, hence they must depart first, plus your gaining time heading West, but losing time heading East. Common sense, right? From the West Coast only East Coast destination packages flow East. West coast destination packages flow to the West Coast hubs. Jet fuel and engine reserves are very expensive. Why fly more weight and cube than you have to? You got that one right! You also got the sorting in Anchorage right to! (Engine reserves? - The total hours you can fly an engine before maintenance and heavy maintenance is required). The day sorting you referred to as day sorts is for Second Day Air and Three Day Select. Why? Again time. Those packages are not as time sensitive as overnight packages, hence you can fly less aircraft and larger aircraft which can make multiple stops on the way to Louisville and Memphis. Most people may be interested to know very few Three Day Select packages actually fly. Once again, time. Most can be ground fed directly to ground hubs that service their final destination. When I was in Louisville I noticed several large air containers sitting on the ramp. When I inquired as to why those air containers were sitting there, the response was, "That's Three Day Select, aging". No, no, no, on buying older aircraft. Yes they do purchase older aircraft, but they're not less efficient. For years UPS operated a very old fleet of DC-8's, however these aircraft were rebuilt for structural integrity, and here's what you missed, they were all fitted with modern day Rolls Royce engines. Quiet and very fuel efficient. We laughed on the ramp at DHL and Burlington back in the day. Overall I would say your research was pretty darn good!
I really love these type of ''DLC'' comments as I usually call them on videos such as these. More often than not on videos with a lot of hits, there is some insider who has the juicy details the content creator often overlooks or can't even find. edit: wish the general top comments would be these compared to low tier joke top comments such as ''All I could think of was the movie castaway''
I work at the 2nd largest air hub for UPS, and I do the overnight shift. It is really crazy how large the network is just to make sure everything works as perfectly as it can
As someone who lives near Louisville and has experienced UPS Worldport first hand, I can assure all of you the logistical manpower and planning it takes to make this happen is just as staggering as it seems.
AuthenTech - Ben Schmanke you wouldn’t complain if you paid $45 extra to have your meds shipped overnight 500 miles and then get lost in transit then have to wait a week to get them ? Twice
Weird, my experience has always been that UPS tries to deliver my packages the exact second I step out. It's crazy how many gears need to turn perfectly for that to happen, but UPS has it down pat.
Yeah, everything goes smoothly right until your plane crashes and you wash up on a desert island and have to talk to a damn volley ball for several years.
my package is getting delivered from Arizona to Scotland, and I looked at the time it was checked in, it was 2.28AM, that's crazy how they work around the clock
I work with UPS. And it is amazing how they reach any part of the world in a day. Usually Air comes into our truck warehouse around 8:00am. Our drivers are out of there usually around 8:45 and have to get the air packages to the address by Noon.
UPS does not reach anywhere in the world in one day... I think it was a 3-4 day minimum at their fastest service from Canada to Australia. Which is understandable. Fedex was the same, DHL a day faster.
My friend was high and sent me a screenshot of this videos thumbnail and wrote “look at these fools teaching us how overnight sleeping works” I am speechless
For quick delivery of packages under two pounds, FedEx is your guy; For bulk packages going to Europe, Middle East or major Asian cities, UPS is there for you! To get any package to any nook & cranny of this planet, DHL will deliver. Globalization has made that possible.
I live in a small town in Nevada. Every few years, I'll order an official Ferrari team t-shirt that has to ship from England. DHL gets it to me. Then I spend the next few years saying, "Oi! This t-shirt cost me thirty quid with the shipping". It's fun for me. I'm a little weird.
That seems a little too simplistic (and overly positive sounding) definition for globalization. Here's the definition from Merriam Webster: Definition of globalization : the act or process of globalizing : the state of being globalized; especially : the development of an increasingly integrated global economy marked especially by free trade, free flow of capital, and the tapping of cheaper foreign labor markets
Fellow package handler here, doin' the same. I'm at a tiny FedEx Ground station though and what we do on a daily basis barely resembles anything in the video. Considering our inbound is only two trailers and our outbound is a half a trailer - we quite literally only have at max 4 package handlers per shift.
I was thinking the same, I was like please don't cut please don't cut I am sure the font wheels won't bounce on this one. and CUT (we will never know now).
I've been watching lots of airliner take offs and landings this past week. I've noticed the nose gear JUST DOESN'T WANT to touch the runway! Even after reverse thrust is applied, it's like the nosegear is saying NO PLEASE, JUST A LITTLE BIT LONGER! I DON'T WANT TO TOUCH THAT RUNWAY! Also, during take off roll the nose gear is fighting to lift up, something I already knew about, but it's interesting to watch the PIC forcing it down until he or she rotates.
Fred Smith, wrote paper as an undergraduate student at Yale on the business model of the company he founded. He was given a C on that paper. Oh, and by the way, that company he founded was Federal Express.
Statistically speaking what PACE ARROW is addressing is business starting entrepreneurs which by in large (due to personality) tend to be non "A" students (their are many exceptions to this rule ... make no mistake). These entrepreneurs however make up a very small percentage of "C" students so on average "A" students do fair better in life (most "C" students long term fair less well financially than "A" students). This tends to be due to the fact that an "A" student (again overly generalizing here) by in large tends to be more of a rule follower and work better in a structured system whereas the personality traits of an entrepreneur tend to be more maverick thinking and thus the conformity of a ridged educational system (or corporate hierarchy) does not suit them as well begating not performing as well. As for the argument of where teachers and government employees come from that is a fairly easy thing to decipher. By in large educators have a tendency to have been very good students in their field (although not necessarily in other fields) which means yes they tend to be "A" students particularly in fields where a graduate degree is required to teach, simply put "C" students don't get into graduate school until all the "A" and "B" student applicants get a spot so very few "C" students are able to even apply for these positions as a teacher. Government employees are a weirder bag, they tend to be the best applicant for the pool the position hires from strictly based on the skills required for the job. Governments can not and do not hire based on subjective things like character or cultural fit. This makes for some very weird working environments, policies and co-workers. The employees of the government are subjectively the best by the book thus tend to be "A" students in the fields they applied for, the environment they are placed in doesn't usually showcase them well at all however.
So it's just bull shit you've made up, or can you cite a reliable secondary source (wikipedia style) to proof your ludicrous claim at least holds some merit and isn't just taken out of thin air? As happens in civil discussions, the person who makes an unbelievable claim should cite the source, that's your job, I'm not going to do your job for you as the likelyhood of me wasting time (if the claim is fake) is too big. Since you know if your claim is either true or false, you have one of two ethical things to do: 1. Admit that it's false, if it's false or 2. Cite a reliable secondary source as evidence that it isn't false, if (you think) it isn't false
Wendover puts a good feeling into how FedEx reliably tranfers cargo overnight. FedEx started from just a simple term paper handed in by the undergraduate Frederick Smith in 1965. His proposal was said to be revolutionary in time-saving delivering technology but his prof didnt realize this and just gave him an average grade for it. Now, the guys a money-maker!
It’s gonna take a Herculean effort even for Amazon to compete with FedEx and UPS....those companies are massive, experts at shipping, AND hyperfocused on ONE thing. Shipping is 1 of 1,000 things Amazon tries to do.
even with flat earth, flying through alaska is most direct route from america to japan. im not a flat earth believer, just sayin. its the southern hemisphere that gets messed up since it would be on the outer part of the disc
I don't get the flat Earth people, either, but then again, there is an astounding number of people (like the narrator of this video) who use the phrase, "across the world," instead of the clearly more correct, "around the world." Maybe there are more flat-Earthers in our midst than we realize!
Interesting video. Thanks for sharing. Admittedly, I've never put much thought into the logistics behind routing and shipping operations. But after watching this video; I'm actually amazed at how this whole process works. Using cheap older airbus planes to cut costs, using more expensive and advanced airplanes for longer trips to save money on fuel, the multiple hubs throughout the country, using larger and smaller aircrafts, everything becoming automated. Interesting, indeed.
I've always seen those DHL vans in Pyongyang, but I just assumed they were simply recycled vehicles used by officials or relatives of officials who had bought them...

but there is a slight problem with the drone part, some jack asses in the world sees drone they think "oooo how can i falsify a "drone attack" out of the person" or shoot the drone down and steal the package
As far as someone attempting to shoot down/ steal the package, there are camera's for that. laws that would render that a felony. Containers that could have tracking devices, alert sensors, and anti theft locks that would make it hard to remove the package without authorization. the theft rate on the drone packages likely would not be any higher than people swiping a package left at your front door.
i am sure a handful of idiotic minorities who attempts doing that will be arrested all the while whining for a lawyer, a case of at first theft rate is average but quickly drop out, so quick we might forget about it, but i am just being skeptic because i rather not loose a package i spent like $60 on and suddenly it didnt arrive on the day it was suppose to and i was given a call that hey its on its way, but if i ordered a game that i pre ordered and it had bonuses that is ONLY AVAILABLE on a certain date BUT i am gonna stop as that is unneccesary bantering
I always say the large shipping companies like UPS and FedEx are great at getting packages around the world in hours, but that last few km within the city can take a week because if you're a residential address they just don't care and/or are too busy to wait the 30 seconds it takes you to get to the door. So, if you're lucky they 'drop' the package at the door so it can get stolen, or more likely they slap a 'we tried, but you didn't answer the door in 3.2 seconds' paper notice (and maybe one more duplicate the next day) asking that you pick up your parcel all the way across the city. If you're a business, with a receptionist, it tends to work better. If you're a residential customer, the shippers excel at delivery of post it notes on doors... packages not so much.
It depends on what you pay for. If you choose overnight at 9:30 am guaranteed and your package arrives at 9:31 you can get a refund. If you select the cheapest then you will get it at "expected delivery window"
This is really interesting as almost everything I have to buy is from Amazon. My husband and I are both disabled and trying to shop locally is extremely difficult for us. Grammar Nazi sorry bro I am not a native speaker, anyway, in my way of thinking in this case is correct, because We are talking about a brand, and it’s a single one. Eg: yo don’t say “Mc Donald’s are opening a restaurant”, you say “Mc Donald’s is opening a restaurant”. If by any chance I am wrong, I am Canadians levels of sorry for offending you.
Im waiting for a package from china and i live in norway, takes a while of course....but hey, now i know how much hard work they put in day and night and what i could at least do is appreciate their efforts :)
The awesome thing about being a cargo pilot is you easily get 200-400k a year with a few years in the company. Bad thing is you leave very early in the morning and continue into the afternoon. Just a few fun facts. And the fact that he mentioned Manchester NH airport is awesome. I've seen the ops and all the cargo planes including the small props that deliver the packages to Maine.
Sean Laffey unfortunately I am not. The airlines and cargo are somewhat similar when it comes to standards. The difference is airlines want someone who is nice with a good personality for the passengers, while cargo wants someone who can be up very early in the AM and fly a few flights. The other difference is pay with cargo receiving more per year depending on A/C and years with the company and the company itself of course.
Buy from sellers that offer DHL shipping and you will get it the next day. But you won't pay. So the package is shipped by mail, which waits for the planes to destinations to fill up before taking off and that's why it takes so long.
All of you guys are so amazing. If no one thanks you, I will. Thank you so much for doing all that you do for the world! You guys are heroes and I appreciate each and every one of you! This is terrific! 👏😁
That is legit what it's called, though. FedEx has a number of different branches including FedEx Office, FedEx Ground, and yes, FedEx Express. Express is the one that uses the planes and does the overnight and other rapid delivery.
This is just one of the many videos that makes me feel so small and so irrelevant. It's insane that not only that all this happens every 24 hours, but also that 1 normal man on earth started this business that does all of this today.
To further amuse yourself about innovators, read about Malcolm Mc Lean. This guy is the first to use container shipping in a way that dramatically reduced shipping times. Now we have massive global container shipping operations and ports. He should be a household name.
Actually many Fedex ramps have return flights after the morning operations back to Memphis or other regional hubs for a “day sort”. This freight usually consists of “2 day” packages and express postal freight. These aircraft then get sent back out with this freight in the evening to repeat the cycle and pick up the priority freight.
Isn't it comforting to know people are flying giant cargo planes just for us, driving those little vans just for us, scanning those packages just for us, every single night, I find it comforting knowing people are caring for us while we sleep, my hereos 🕊️ Thanks dad 😊, best pilot ever.
North Korea is still connected to the national postal services network, so yes. Not sure about DHL Express (the courier service), but DHL (which is the package part of Germany's national postal service) does.
omg such a sellout! Spends hours researching and making these really well-made and informative videos and actually expects to get money for it as well? Wow!
Probably misspoke and combined the 747 8f and airbus a380-800. For Sam, that'd be like mixing up alexis texas and riley reid to get alexis reid. He knows the difference, just misspoke
The new Boeings use a single digit numbering suffix- 737-9, 787-8, 777-9, 747-8, etc. It's old habit for many people to add the extra two zeros, but I only hear it being done with the 747 for some reason.
This was very interesting I work on the ramp at SNA. I love working here and plan on moving up. This video was very helpful in understanding the operations as a whole rather than just a station. Thanks!

remember that they did not start out by calculating all of this and the setting it up, they started out small a long time ago and grew into this size, so all the calculation came in small steps: at first just" can we add a truck here, and there" then probably deciding that one plane is good for expanding, expanding more and more untill they are so big that they had a fleet of aircraft and even building an airport wanst a big risk anymore, and all the way every single profitable investment adds up while the wrong decisions get cut out.

Oh Vine
That is very illegal in the US (probably the same everywhere else)... if you're caught stealing or opening packages that doesn't belong to you, getting fired will be the least of your worries.
The real question is how can these companies do this, but airlines can't get people's luggage to the right place?
strangersound for real everytime i go anywhere they always loose my luggage
Imagine if Spirit Ailrlines or Jet Blue could afford an autonomous sorting system like Fedex'? They wouldn't be as cheap. Humans handle it, so luggage delivery is doom to be inefficient
What percentage of luggage gets lost?
because if fed-ex fuck up their packages, they loose thousands of dollars.
^ I've worked at Fedex and this is exactly the reason lol. You fuck up and leave those packages on a plane or a trailer, you get the big "F" for "Fired" because that's a few thousand dollars flying/driving away.
I always thought the plane flew over my house and they dropped the package perfectly on my front steps

I’ve worked at the UPS hub in Louisville for 11 years and this is the most accurate video of how it all works I’ve seen.
Woohoo! More airplane content from Wendover!

You're more than welcome. It's so interesting learning new things that happen away from public view.

For quick delivery of packages under two pounds, FedEx is your guy; For bulk packages going to Europe, Middle East or major Asian cities, UPS is there for you! To get any package to any nook & cranny of this planet, DHL will deliver. Globalization has made that possible.
magellanmax
If it’s fragile, FedEx is defo your guy
Its not globalization. It’s just capitalism and trade. Globalization is entirely different.
Here's the definition from Merriam Webster:
Definition of globalization
: the act or process of globalizing : the state of being globalized; especially : the development of an increasingly integrated global economy marked especially by free trade, free flow of capital, and the tapping of cheaper foreign labor markets

@ PACE ARROW
I believe it's the other way around, the folks near the bottom of the graduation rankings pursue teaching and government careers.
@PACE ARROW that almost never happens, but you hear more about that kind of cases because, well they're rare and make a good story/news. I
Statistically speaking what PACE ARROW is addressing is business starting entrepreneurs which by in large (due to personality) tend to be non "A" students (their are many exceptions to this rule ... make no mistake).
Yeah nigga we know that story
As a FedEx Express employee I am so surprised an how thoroughly you covered this topic!!

Mr. Shlock Can you proof this outrageous claim?
So it's just bull shit you've made up, or can you cite a reliable secondary source (wikipedia style) to proof your ludicrous claim at least holds some merit and isn't just taken out of thin air? As happens in civil discussions, the person who makes an unbelievable claim should cite the source, that's your job, I'm not going to do your job for you as the likelyhood of me wasting time (if the claim is fake) is too big. Since you know if your claim is either true or false, you have one of two ethical things to do:
1. Admit that it's false, if it's false
or
2. Cite a reliable secondary source as evidence that it isn't false, if (you think) it isn't false

Interesting video. Thanks for sharing. Admittedly, I've never put much thought into the logistics behind routing and shipping operations. But after watching this video; I'm actually amazed at how this whole process works. once drones become efficient enough, they could get them to fly it directly to your door. ;D
but there is a slight problem with the drone part, some jack asses in the world sees drone they think "oooo how can i falsify a "drone attack" out of the person" or shoot the drone down and steal the package
As far as someone attempting to shoot down/ steal the package, there are camera's for that.
laws that would render that a felony.
Containers that could have tracking devices, alert sensors, and anti theft locks that would make it hard to remove the package without authorization.
the theft rate on the drone packages likely would not be any higher than people swiping a package left at your front door.
i am sure a handful of idiotic minorities who attempts doing that will be arrested all the while whining for a lawyer, a case of at first theft rate is average but quickly drop out, so quick we might forget about it, but i am just being skeptic because i rather not loose a package i spent like $60 on and suddenly it didnt arrive on the day it was suppose to and i was given a call that hey its on its way, but if i ordered a game that i pre ordered and it had bonuses that is ONLY AVAILABLE on a certain date

Planes are cool. Flying is cool. Humans are always fascinated by flight.
Fedex like to give mine to one of my neighborhoods. Guess he doesn't bother with GPS, or read the side of the mailbox, or plaque beside driveway....

Just a few fun facts. And the fact that he mentioned Manchester NH airport is awesome. I've seen the ops and all the cargo planes including the small props that deliver the packages to Maine.
MD88Pilot Are you a cargo pilot? How would you compare it to something like a commercial pilot?
Sean Laffey unfortunately I am not. The airlines and cargo are somewhat similar when it comes to standards. The difference is airlines want someone who is nice with a good personality for the passengers, while cargo wants someone who can be up very early in the AM and fly a few flights. The other difference is pay with cargo receiving more per year depending on A/C and years with the company and the company itself of course.
Not with Ali Express. Shit takes 4-6 weeks to arrive. It comes on a small raft.
It comes with a few refugees from syria aswell
Well, if you expect to pay 1 dollar for shipping, it’s obvious that’ll happen
Still is cheaper to buy a $1 power bank from Ali than anywhere else. They pay more for shipping than for the product
Buy from sellers that offer DHL shipping and you will get it the next day. But you won't pay. So the package is shipped by mail, which waits for the planes to destinations to fill up before taking off and that's why it takes so long.
Cause shipping is free for most of products purchased from Aliexpress
All of you guys are so amazing. If no one thanks you, I will. Thank you so much for doing all that you do for the world! You guys are heroes and I appreciate each and every one of you! This is terrific! 👏😁
FedEx express
Federal Express express
That is legit what it's called, though. FedEx has a number of different branches including FedEx Office, FedEx Ground, and yes, FedEx Express. Express is the one that uses the planes and does the overnight and other rapid delivery.
It's like when someone says "PIN number."
PIN number
Personal Identification Number number
They officially changed their name from "Federal Express" to "FedEx" several years ago.
Josh, or ATM Machine... Automated Teller Machine machine
Rah Damson Fedex is the new name. When it first opened it was federal express.
Why no ad on the video? You deserve the extra money tbf

Another Wendover Planeductions video!
Nah I'm fine.
me: clicks on overnight shipping
the whole world: *GO GO GO GO*
This is just one of the many videos that makes me feel so small and so irrelevant.
This wasn’t the work of only one man there are a LOT of smart and hard working people that make this happen
Long route Deliveries has been around since horses were domesticated. Nothing new. Now they have trucks and planes.
You are small and irrelevant. We all are.
What is even more amazing is how Fred Smith saved the company from bankruptcy one time by winning big in Las Vegas.
“Shipping” by AIR. I’m just trying to get my head around that point. XD
Pretty interesting from a historical-linguistic point of view, huh?
"air ship" is accurate
And ships carry CARgo...
Must be using zepplins, air ships.
@@twothreefour234 "air ship" is not limited to lighter than air craft
Me: pays for overnight shipment
Amazon: your item will be delivered in 1 business day
Covid-19: 3, take it or leave it
For me: 1 day, take it or leave it and I live in the middle of nowhere
Sameeeeee dudddeeeeeee😐
How overnight shipping and 1 day shipping works:
1: The Mail guy gets ender pearl
2: Mail guy teleports to your house using ender pearls
He needs good aim for home and back
All this so I can get my fleshlight delivered overnight :)
😂
You a super beater eh?!!!!
Before this video, I expected the FedEx driver going 100mh down the freeway
Jolly Loli lmao
There have been many days when I've seen Fedex trailers pulled over by police as I was driving to work lol
Isn't it comforting to know people are flying giant cargo planes just for us, driving those little vans just for us, scanning those packages just for us, every single night, I find it comforting knowing people are caring for us while we sleep, my hereos 🕊️
Thanks dad 😊, best pilot ever.
💀💀
How many times have u said " for us" lol
DHL delivers to North Korea?? Oooooh shieeeet lol.
North Korea is still connected to the national postal services network, so yes.
Not sure about DHL Express (the courier service), but DHL (which is the package part of Germany's national postal service) does.
Tons of seafood are exported from NK. One of the few resources they have.
Yeah so I guess we could send anything to someone living there even though it it illegal. (for example: cartoons depicting kim jon Un as a rocket man)
bottom line they will deliver to anywhere for a price , greed has no political boundries
The probably order plutonium from the deep web
8:50 747-800??? C'mon Wendover you know it's 747-8f :/
That's because he doesn't give a shit anymore. Now, with over a million of subscribers, all he really cares about is money.
omg such a sellout!
It's old habit for many people to add the extra two zeros, but I only hear it being done with the 747 for some reason.

sexy cabbage XD
That kinda pissed me off. He gets over $2,000 per video from Patreon and completely disrespects all of his Patreons here...

This was very interesting I work on the ramp at SNA. I love working here and plan on moving up. This video was very helpful in understanding the operations as a whole rather than just a station. Thanks!
