One of my favorite CT5-V Blackwing videos because it reminds me of me driving my wife in mine!! Review is spot on and Neisha looking for something to grab on to is real world accurate. I setup my Mode into the softest, quietest, smoothest drive scenario so my wife asks "is it in Mommy Mode?" every time she gets in the car. Multiple personalities is a beautiful thing. Best cadillac we'll ever see and I feel blessed to drive it everyday.

The fact that GM is putting a manual in their cars in 2022, is CLUTCH! This is what most consumers miss having in the car. It's always good to have options. I personally enjoy driving a manual transmission. Good review, man!

The engine sound is glorious! OMG my heart was racing with those pulls n 1st to second shifts! Your wife is a good sport tho. Some of her reactions were priceless🤣. Do let her drive it! My wife would completely freak out. The farts and burbles from the exhaust.. extatic! Seems to sound better than the Z06 Corvette. Is it the same motor? Serious machine thanks for the review.
Yes sir, this car is impressive by any and all measures. Luxury, available manual, technology all-around, & the performance to back it all up. This car is the F-35 Lightning of the streets. 💪🏻🇺🇸

GM has been slept on for quite sometime! I will admit, in my opinion, they have been known to do some things that will leave one scratching their head. However, they’ve also proved they can do anything they want, when they put their minds to it. But I guess the Corvette should have served as proof, long ago.

Great review as always, that is an incredible car. The gas mileage with these prices wouldn’t be fun though, but if you can afford a 6 figure care you can afford the gas lol.
When it came with the four banger the tank was adequate. The v6 pushing it a little 17 gallon tank for 670 horses c'mon every blackwing owners got range anxiety

I like this review..this Blackwing is the best..love love it..still can't let go the CTS-V..which u can tune it 850hp..love it..but the Blackwing is sexi..6 spd manual is to die 4..cheap out on the interior a bit..but still in love with old CTS-V though 😀 its still a beast even with mods..but this Blackwing takes the cake 🎂 on its way out..thanks BW for Blackwing..lol

Excellent. Honestly that .20 second difference 0-60 vs the automatic could easily be corrected by a righteous set of state of the art Michelin PS4S's replacing the Pirelli winter tires. They'd ride smoother too. Ben this is your car for sure.
No it won't. Stock tires are bespoke PS4S. GM has been very clear - the auto is something like 37% faster shifting than benchmark Porsche PDK in gears 1-4.
The manual is more engaging but the auto will always be faster in this car.
@@rdollie1 any acceleration advantage from the automatic will be lost with a tire upgrade to Michelin PS4S’s. Upgrade the manual’s tires and it’s quicker than stock automatics.
@@lawrencefearon6830 no that's incorrect. The STOCK tire on the Blackwing is a CUSTOM Michelin PS4S. It was used on both the manual and auto for performance specs. Manuals haven't been as fast as automatics for almost two decades.
When GM tells you they tested the auto faster and every tester and video review shows better 0-60 times with the automatic what is so hard for you to understand?
The manual is more engaging but even with no-lift shifting, it will lag behind the auto on the stock PS4S tire OR ANY tire put on both auto and manual for a test.
@@rdollie1 .20 seconds can be made up in lots of ways even if it's not tires. I've seen dual air filter swaps for the Green Filter Co. cut more 0-60 time. I've seen a ECU refresh cut more then .20 seconds. These guys ported a swapped blower and got 59 more horsepower at the wheels. ruclips.net/video/wA5cK9ke4y0/видео.html
@@lawrencefearon6830 Sure you can do some mods for more speed but those same mods like port polishing are going to keep the automatic ahead of the manual. It's a great manual, just not going to outshift an automatic that's significantly faster than a PDK.

The manual is always more fun. Automatics are little faster but can just be boring for everyday driving.
If you want the best of the best this thing is it! You won't get the amount of comfort with this much speed on other vehicles. It's also suitable for daily driving as a luxury sedan.

I like your car a lot, good color, and a good video too. Heck, even your girlfriend is cute and lady like and I like you two as a couple too. You do need to put out a video where you take it out and have fun with it and have a camera pointing out into the street though. Still a good all around video and so Thumbs Up.
I planned on skipping this video if I found out you were driving an automatic. Looked & saw you were switching gears ⚙️ so I stayed hehe.
It’s a perfect family car, unless you have kids that would be driving age while you own it. No way would I let my kids drive such a beast!

This is my dream car. I'm too young and can't afford it.
High traffic areas make no difference whatsoever if you have a stick. I live in a high traffic area. My last 2 Camaros have been sticks by choice. I wouldn't even consider a performance car without a stick.

CT5 V BW is an awesome car, but I would be more than happy with the CT4 V BW....lighter and just seems an ideal M3 fighter.

It's worth it but I know I would never use it to it's full potential on a track. I appreciate Cadillac is making what enthusiasts want.
I would get the Blackwing before an E63 or M5... but RS6 Avant is my favorite in class

The Blackwing EASILY.
The CT5V is a faster more fun car but the Lexus has better build quality.
The LC500 is no slouch, but these are different categories. If you're looking for an epic daily driver or serious track weapon... CT5-V Blackwing all day long!!!

has anybody noticed that the CT4 and the CT6 has almost the exact same front end
Just received mine in early June after waiting 9 months. I have the automatic in Summit White, no carbon fiber. Same seats that you tested . Beauty and the Beast all rolled into one. I am not a fan of shifting anymore. Going to Spring Mountain Racing School in December , courtesy of Cadillac.
I'm not driving a stick shift in 2022. Automatics are faster and way more comfortable
I would recommend Paddle shifters option much more fun ! Foot clutch is prehistoric and no fun and slower ! I don’t think internet testers understand how to use paddle shifters!

Idk why but I feel they dropped the ball on the interior. Like the infotainment area and the dash.. I feel they knocked it out the park with the v3 this one just seems so plain and basic chevy package design
