ABBA's manager never wanted to spend much money on making these videos, but sometimes just being outdoors on a very windy day is all that's needed.

Awesome reaction Chase. This song is pure endorphine rush. This shows them as 🎉two young couples in love making beautiful music. Frida and Agnetha's voices together are Magical!

You must listen to Eagle but the full length version. The musical backing is phenomenal, especially the instrumental ending.

I get so happy when I listen to this song. It's so positiv as you say in the melodie song and video. The lyrics too, love is every were, giv and take, giv and it comes back as a boomerang ❤ 😃.

So glad to see You reaction to more ABBA songs
    "Bang a boomerang" (1975)
it is so nice and powerful
in the fantastic voices of Agnetha & Frida
It was a single only in
    France Belgium Norway Australia
    "Bang a Boomerang"
was composed by Björn & Benny for other artists
to the Melodiefestivalen 1975 in Sweden (the previous to Eurovision)
that is why the song is only under three minutes, by Eurovision rules
(as "Ring Ring" in 1973 and "Waterloo" in 1974)
It's finally in third place and after these ABBA recording this version, that is amazing!
The video was made in Stockholm on a windy day in April 1975
in 2 days ABBA made videos for 4 songs from your third album, just tittled "ABBA":
    "Bang a Boomerang"
    "I do I do I do I do I do"
    "Mamma mia"
"S.O.S." (the only of these recorded before in August 1974)
these song is happy, to enjoy,
    with lyrics about pure love
is one of my favourites in the self title album ABBA
wich is one of my favourites ABBA albums too
I wish you a great weekend
    My best regards to You
    from my city and country
    Buenos Aires, Argentina
    South América
    GOD bless You
PS: several images of this video
were taken in the compilation for the official video
of ABBA's comeback in "I still have faith in You"

After ABBA had won Eurovision Song Contest with Waterloo, they were asked to compete in Melodifestivalen (Sweden's selection show) again, in 1975. They had wrote a song, this one, but didn't want to compete again, so they wrote Swedish lyrics for it and gave it to some other artists, Svenne & Lotta, and they came 3rd in the contest. (you can check out "1975, MELODIFESTIVALEN , BANG EN BOOMERANG, SVENNE OCH LOTTA, live bild med studio version", but it's nothing to make a reaction video of, I think, it's just if you want to hear it in Swedish).
Svenne used to be in a band called Hep Stars in the mid 60s, together with Benny. (If you want to see a young Benny on the keyboards, you could for instance check out "Hep Stars - Cadillac", choose the black and white performance video).

I love this so happy and uplifting. ABBA always do great songs, the only 'bad' one in my opinion is I Saw It In The Mirror and even that is not dreadful

Great reaction! For something completely different I suggest you react to ‘Should I Laugh or Cry’ which was the B side of ‘One of Us’ from 1981. No video but very powerful in its message ❤

I have two requests that I would love to see you react to. Both are singers who were very big in the 1970s. The first is Barry Manilow, and the song I would like to see is Beautiful Music. You will love this! The other is Neil Sedaka, and the song is The Way I Am. Please! (studio recordngs)

I think you need toreact to one of their worst songs, such as I Saw it in the mirror from the Ring Ring album. ABBA are my favourite group but some of their early stuff isn’t that good. It is however interesting to listen to how they progressed from that quite quickly.

Still the same imbalance ... Music 30% - Commentary 70%.
If You can't Increase the Music Level, You must Lower the Commentary Level.
Also: The short Intro and Outro are so Bass Heavy, they shake my Brain.
Sorry, but I Must save My Ears and My Hearing.

You guys need to stop recommending this poor dude the worst ABBA songs. Or perhaps it's better for him to go through those ones before he gets to the awesome ones.

The worst Abba songs? There are no bad Abba songs. So Bang a boomerang is one of their worst to you? Yes, they developed their song writing with each album but all songs have their own charm. And compared to a lot of music that is done today, which won't live on as the music of Abba does, where you need 10 people to write one song.....

    • @opicatchu2164

      It's not a bad ABBA song !!!

    • @eduardooscar309

It's all about taste and opinion
the owns songwriters Björn & Benny said that there's some songs that ABBA should not recorded
and They said in an interview that, as ABBA have an album "The best of ABBA", also could be another album "The worst of ABBA"
anyway, no matter if ABBA have some worst songs
(I think that ABBA have a few, as Beatles have, as Queen have, as Bee Gees have, as so many others groups ir artists have)
the most important Is how much more greatest songs ABBA have in your history (someone aré masterpieces)

He has loved every single ABBA song so far. There is no reason to think that (like a true ABBA fan) he won't love the earlier songs as well. Yes there are songs that aren't 10s, but 7s, 8s, and 9s can be enjoyable an worth repeated listens.
