Doctor Who has consistently been renewed for multiple seasons for like the last 15 years
I mean, I know Disney is calling it Season 1 but this is season 14 of NuWho and season 40 of Doctor Who as a whole so yeah, they have enough confidence to film an extra season.

Did Millie Gibson say the companion is travelling with the Doctor for sixty years at around 4:35 ? Bit of an odd choice of words. Here's my theory: The older lady in the wheelchair we see right before she enters the Tardis to start her adventures, that's her from the future. Wibbly Wobbly, just a theory.

She meant the doctor has been travelling the universe for 60 years. Which of course is way too short in universe, but in our reality it's correct.

Ngl Ncuti Gatwa he got potential I like his energy for a new doctor but just know its gonna be a flop the writing is gonna be bad not as bad as the last 2 seasons but bad just the environment of hollywood now a days I dislike the companion she not giving the right energy and might be the only one but hate the whole her being adopted by african woman and her sis it just seems like the usual forced diversity thing got going on but Ncuti Gatwa acting as the doctor in gold old days man ngl that would be fire and were not gonna forget how they just threw years of lore and canon out the just my take interested in hearing others

Wouldn't we love something original and not agenda/nostalgia driven.
This show is gonna tank miserably, probably worse than the previous one, with the angry feminist, whatever her name was, because his dude is just as toxic, if not worse, and people are tired of this bullshit agenda driven crap, that shits on the fans whenever they can
It's got the same writers and showrunner from the 2005 series though and the trailers for it seem pretty good. And reviews for the first two episodes are overwhelmingly positive. Maybe cope?

Just because same writers and showrunners from back then, doesn't mean automatically the show is gonna be good. They can change over the years, and want to do different things over the years.

Erm Millie the series has been going for 60 years the Doctor Has been travelling for just under 1 thousand years i mean seriously do some research on the show before you do interviews. This lack of knowledge just shows this is just a job to her to be honest Billie Piper was so much better in interviews.

@@challiswho Yeah exactly. All that matters is her acting skills, which she's already proven with the christmas special. Also she's talked in multiple interviews about how she's been a fan of the show since she was a kid, so claiming that she hasn't "done research" is just not true.

Hey man. I’m not a fan of forcefully changing the appearance of characters just to meet a certain quota either, but The Doctor is one of the few characters where it actually makes sense. The Doctor can look exactly the way he wants to look when he regenerates. Besides that; Ncuti is an amazing actor. Definitely my favorite person in both Sex Education and the Barbie movie. He always looks like he’s having so much fun.
