i love the theme. junkie xl and hans zimmer did a great job on it. this trailer was everything i wanted it to be and more. excited to see the movie.
Gotta say, I love her theme music, it's already more recognizable than any of the standalone Marvel superheros. The only theme music that comes to mind for them is the Avengers theme, which I now think may have been by design. But yeah, probably my favorite trailer of the day
i remember you guys hating the theme music when they played it in BvS. Disagreed with you back then. Now we are on the same page. Definitely seems like a great movie.
+Sarab Deep It was fucking awful in BvS, but it's much easier to stomach here. Great that it's a distinct theme, it's just a childish Snyder-bullshit one haha. Just our thoughts, really ruined that scene is BvS further.

I really wanted Cap 1 to take advantage of being a war movie with a superhero. I think it skewed a bit on the cartoon side of the proceedings, which is why I don't think much of it overall. The villains really let me down.
WW rekindles me hope for a better marriage of a superhero and historical fiction with palpable authenticity woven into its identity.
That's how I felt with Cap 1 to. The villains were a let down for me to and I don't think they properly utilised Cap as a character enough. Even from the trailer alone I get right chills for them using WW properly in the war setting. Everything about this trailer was freaking awesome, can't wait for Diana to finally get her stand alone movie.

I was pleasantly surprised by Evans and the supporting cast. I agree the villains were a big letdown. I expected so much more from Weaving in particular.
No need to dwell on that, though. Hope remains, and its name is Diana Prince.
How the flying fuck could you hate the wonder woman theme in BVS? It was one of the best parts of the movie.

Really excited for this movie....the question i'm wondering is will Steve Trevor make it out alive and also if so will his family lineage play a role in the current DCEU timeline,the military are very present in the DCEU

Wow this did feel like the first Captain America movie to me as well. they trying to start something with Marvel by saying Wonder Woman is better than the Cap? I mean the unbreakable shield and super strength... but she got the lasso and idk if she flies yet. I haven't heard any talk about it, but is Wonder Woman an immortal or something? she doesn't age between ww2 and current day BvS.

Read some comics kiddo, WW is immortal. She doesn't age. Infact, she is actually better and stronger than Captain America. She is almost as powerful as Superman.
My fave superhero is Captain America, & he's always compared to Superman, but I always considered him more like WW, a warrior-soldier. Loved the trailer
