- FLORIDA ROAD! What more can we say...this has been a reliable destination for Durbanites looking for a vibe, since we can remember. Florida Road has something for everyone. Whether you're looking for a trendy coffee shop, a pub to watch sport, fancy dinner, delicious cocktails or a place to dance, you'll find it in DURBAN'S FLORIDA ROAD.
We started our day in Florida road at +258 taste of Mozambique for an Instameet. After that we went for drinks with a fellow creator, checked into our hotel and walked up and down Florida Road.

I love walking this street from right by the Racecourse up through to Mitchell park and then walk the whole Musgrave road up to Musgrave centre and past to Glenwood village mall. Durban is just too beautiful and easy.

Florida Road seems like a great place to visit. I really liked you accommodation - it was perfect for a night stay and all of the sightseeing you did. Those deserts were incredible! I would love the waffle - and my hubby always wants ice cream. So cool to see where you guys first met. Loved your drone footage through the sleepy city - such a nice weekend getaway.

Florida road has really changed from when I lived in Musgrave between 1994 and 2005. That was 11 great years and Florida road has blossomed. I only visited there once in 2021.
I've lived in Musgrave road and Innes road, such a great area! And must say, Florida road has changed so much since I've left...we think it's better than ever now :)

Ironic and weired, seeing my old neighborhood where I grew up. lived right next o Jameson park and must have travelled Florida road literally tens of thousands of times in my life. Sure has changed a lot. For the better it seems. Really neat video.
We can imagine things look completely different now, even we thought there were major changes and we haven't been there in 2 years only. It must've been such a nice area to grow up in :)

I've learnt a lot about travel and how easy it can be when I've always imagined traveling costs a lot. Perhaps one day, an hour away from Durban you can check out The South Coast😅

Good review but you left out the other end of Florida Road that has also expanded. Mama Luciano's has been there a while but there's also Dukkah that is new and hype.

Hi James, thanks for watching. We mentioned Spiga at the end of the video, as it's not on Florida road anymore, it moved just around the corner to the top of Innes Road. But yes, we frequently visited Spiga when we lived in the area :)
Where is the "Long street" of Durban?
