And go south to Umlazi and hit Eyedini or Max's to show the Shisa Nyama flava too. Then come back and show us Ushaka marine world and then behimd there at the Sails at Timeballs, then venture into the Bluff area to show us some "coloured" vibes as well. Enjoy my guy. That's why he won't show Umhlanga, South Beach, the seas front, Ballito or other nice areas in Durban.
      Even in Jorburg, you won't see him doing Sandton, Rosebank, Fourways, Midrand, Melville and many other nice places in Johannesburg.

    Hey Czech! A big fan here - I enjoy all your videos, especially on this Africa trip (Nigeria and SA). Does Johannesburg have a load-shed like you mentioned here in this Durban footage? because i don't remember you mentioning anything about a load-shed in any of the videos in Joburg.

    • @walkwithorr
      @walkwithorr 9 месяцев назад

      Load shedding happebs countrywide. It is scheduled more ofteb than not we know when there lights will be off bcos there is an app that shows schedules for each area. Only in some isolated instances that are not load related u can get a surprise power cut.

    Home affairs is where you apply for your ID and passports ETC.
    South African no longer does photos for ID's so those guys are scamers
    So, you are supposed to book upfront.
    Most people are not aware of this and they go there only to chill.
    From 8 till 12, Home affairs starts with people who do the online bookings.
    It takes an hour to finalize your ID application if you have booked online.

    everybody is self-employed, and there’s no such thing as a mall, even though Woolworths, Wooly’s is a big store… it’s amazing to bear witness to people that are so self-sufficient, and even in the most poverty, torn down situation, they find a way to make it. I live here in the United States, and I wish we had that kind of energy is African-American people. We don’t have a relationship with Africa, so we just wind up being American people. Yikes! I’m glad I speak seven languages and sometimes travel.

      People do not react to weather conditions the same. Some are just used to the condition, some are just visitors who thought it might be too cold but find themselves feeling hot or vice versa. There is no strangeness at all especially in Durban it is near sea level, the weather can go in phases during in a day.
