Hi everyone, thanks so much for watching 💙 Here are some useful links: Maputaland Guest House: instagram.com/jorg_maputaland? Hippo Cruise: instagram.com/shakabarkertoursstlucia?
Loved the guesthouse tour and the breakfast looked so good. We are literally praying that the world will let us come explore SA someday, the nature just looks so incredible and it's really cool that they arranged the Hippo tour for you guys, we saw Hippos in Tanzania and they're such characters! Your food at Greco and Sonia all seemed so great, what a great way to end your day☺
Wow what an awesome weekend! Your accommodations looked really nice and I loved then differently themed rooms. I would love to see hippos in their natural habitat what a cool experience. South Africa is definitely on my bucket list now 🙌
It really was an awesome weekend 😊 seeing the hippos in the wild and listening to their sounds are so unreal and we can recommend the experience to anyone 🤗
Really love cute little b&b's like this where they put different character into each room and a helpful local to guide you in a new area. So much incredible wildlife to see in that whole area too, definitely would love to do a hippo cruise, so many of them! We really need to come visit SA sooner than later.
Hehe the hippos sound like the rest room at a busy curry joint (fart noises) 🙈🤣 I'm friends with Kian that's so cool, next time stay at his resort called Eco lodge, it's quite nice to and the views from there are so pretty ❤️
What a wonderful guesthouse! The beautiful door from your bedroom leading to the garden, pool, and breakfast was amazing. Happy it was as good as it looked! Your 22k drive loop looked amazing too. Especially loved the giraffes and awesome that you got to see so many hippos! This video really made me miss SA. Can't wait to get back one day!
Thanks so much for the sweet comment :) We really appreciate you watching all our videos! Glad that we can give you break from life every now and again.
Your B&B looked great. Think we were very lucky in St Lucia that we saw lots of crocodiles as well as hippo. We loved it when vervet monkeys walked past us in the street and signs said beware of hippos at night (in the middle of town)! We went to a fish restaurant and had local fish and chips, it looked very much like the one you were in. Love watching your videos, it reminds me of the brilliant holiday we had in South Africa.
Thanks so much for watching, we’re glad we can bring back some SA travel memories for you 😊 Unfortunately that fish restaurant closed down, the one we went to took its place. The hippo signs though 😅😅 we haven’t seen an actual hippo in the streets yet, we always seem to miss it. Glad you got to see so many crocs, we didn’t see any 🙁 Thanks again for watching 😊
I love your work, I've decided to visit KZN in March / April when I have a break, I live in Cape Town - I've watched so many of your videos , well done guys
Hi Derek 👋 thanks so much for this comment, made our day 😊 March/April/May is our absolute favourite time in KZN...really hope you have an awesome time in our province 😅 and thanks so much for watching our videos 🙏
Hi guys, you were back in St. Lucia! We love it there, we stayed there 4 nights in 2019, there's so much to do and to enjoy. Next time you should try to book the bike tour at Shakabarker. The Greek restaurant looks mouth watering to us. You smulpaape!! 😊😉
We have been so excited to go back and it was really worth it. It is definitely one of our favourite places to visit in South Africa😁. We will definitely try the bike tour next time!
@@thamarvandeelen6261 yes, really loved the experience with Shakabarker 😀 I remember the last time you said we should go to Ocean Basket...sadly it closed down. But have to say Greco, which took its place, was awesome! Also, love that word... smulpaap 😅😅
Hey guys, how cool you got to see all of the rooms at the bed and breakfast 😄 That breakfast looked amazing🙌 The boardwalk area was so pretty. Do you know what kind of trees were growing around that area? They reminded me of some trees here in Florida 🌳 You all saw sooo many hippos 😍
What a beautiful BNB. Owning a BNB was once a dream of mine! The safari was incredible and seeing those wild hippos was a little scary! We too love Greek food! As always we chuckle at your bloops! Great video! ~Cara 😊
Hi Cara, we're still dreaming of having our own AirBnb oneday :) The hippos are quite intimidating...some nights they roam the streets of St Lucia, every now and again we see pics on the various Facebook pages. Luckily we didn't run into one of them!
Hi Kyle, thanks so much for watching and for the suggestion of adding prices, we’ll try and add it where possible in future. Please let us know if there is any other info you would like us to add in our vlogs 😊
