So I’m starting to collect some books based on your recommendations. Have the Ken Follett series on our shelves now. And I’m almost finished with Children of Ruin and am loving this series. I have not heard you talk much about humor in your review, so I have a series recommendation for you: the Bobiverse series by Dennis E Taylor. I’ve listened to all the four that have been released already, and pre-ordered the fifth one that’s due out later this year. I love concept behind the series, and its humor. The first book starts with a software entrepreneur (Bob) making a fortune by selling his company. He then pays to have his head preserved after he dies until such time technology allows his mind to be extracted and uploaded to a computer. Then, within a day, he is hit by a car and dies, is revived as an artificial intelligence uploaded to a computer a century later (but has no rights, as society doesn’t consider him human), and becomes the guiding intelligence for a Von Neumann probe sent out to explore the universe. Oh, and I just saw that the author made this tweet last fall: "The Bobiverse Series has been optioned to Lord Miller Prods/Universal." So I’m really looking forward to see what comes from that.

I can’t wait to hear what you think of the Century trilogy 😊 Great idea on Bobiverse!! I’ll check out the first book from the library, and maybe read in July. I’ve heard such good things about it, and now that it’s being adapted I have to do my homework 😂 love you all so much ❤️

I only have the final age of madness trilogy left to read and I want to finish them all immediately… but I also want to savor them. They’re already 5 star reads to me, and I haven’t even started them yet 😂
Hi Angela! Thats a fantastic idea actually! Maybe a tier ranking? Or just a straight up countdown, I’m trying to decide. What a series right? I can’t wait to read that sequel trilogy and see where characters end up!

I would absolutely love that!! Perhaps I can wait for you to finish hobb first book and we read 2 and 3 together? Or we can start from scratch with Bloodsworne saga by Gwynne! I think the new book comes out in November so we can do one a month leading up to that?

The schedule is cool with me, is this what it feels like to plan your reading and have a tbr? I feel my mood reading alignment shifting from chaotic neutral to chaotic good 😂
