adding some bass to the Genesis RSpec.....always good times for sure! I had to replace the factory 8" sub right away, it really was completely useless!
Yeah that planet audio amplifier doesn't do anywhere near 1100 watts… If I remember right I think it has a 30 amp fuse on the side so you're looking at about 300 watts on a good day.
17 speakers total, 3 per door in the front, 2 per door in the rear (mids and tweeter), 2 in the front deck (it has a tweeter there too), then 1 sub in the rear deck and 2 mids although each of those also has a tweeter attached! Here's what the rears around the sub look like: i.ebayimg.com/images/g/ZTIAAOSw5RRZxqtu/s-l1600.jpg Unfortunately this makes it harder to redo the entire sound system, but the speakers are all fairly easy to access.
I have the same car and the same stock set up and am putting two Audiopipe Txx-BD4's but want to be smart and want to know what you added to get that signal to the amp.
Usually I use both rear speakers for inline converters, are you getting a good signal running off the sub I also have a 2012 genesis 4.6 gonna install extra xsd3100 battery strapped to my factory battery , also where did you tap into for remote turn on?????
How many hz is the factory sub is it a mono signal? Why do you want a full range signal for a monoblock and not just put a line out off the factory sub.
Where did you hook up the remote turn on wire? Is there somewhere convenient in the trunk to do so?

will the air even move in the coupe, probably just makin the chassi vibrate instead of the airpressure you want
What happens if you didn't put that converter to the amp? I have a 2015 genesis and I'm getting feedback but can't figure out where its coming from.
Wow!!
Did you need to change/upgrade your stock battery?
