It would have been better if you had watched the original from 2011 "I'm not a vampire" before "...revamped". Watch "The drug in me is you" then "The drug in me reimagined". Same lyrics but totally different songs.

The original is about drugs , this version is about being a vampire and the analogy of being a vampire and being a drug addict,Blood =drugs, and it touches on the love story of Ronnie and Saraya(Paige from the WWE), ,Saraya has said that she was going through a dark time when she met Ronnie and that he saved her

This song is a great example of how shouting should be understood. not as noise but as a way to express feelings. I know a lot of people that say metal is all about shouting and for some bands it might be correct but for many of the bands i know shouting is a way to set accents.
i really appreciate that both of you go that road and maybe you will start to appreciate metal as a stylistic way and not as "noise"!
