    Colin wants to be right that Jordan Love isn’t the guy so bad that he refuses to acknowledge how impressive a 4th quarter comeback that was without his WR1 RB1 LT1 LG1 and CB1. All in his first start as a pro at home and third game of his career as starter. And against a veteran Saints defense!

    Colin is not even being subtle deflecting the blame from Sean Payton. We get it, your buddies with him but even mentioning Russel Wilson being responsible for that Loss is just being disingenuous and you know it. Sean Payton was running his mouth all off season and talking trash on hackett but I don't remember hackett getting 70 points dropped on his team. He was carried by Drew Brees and it's showing.

      It’s one game.. Doesn’t me they will be equally atrocious going forward. Russel Wilson is someone else’s mistake. Sean Peyton can move on. If in doubt about how much the team is behind him watch how the o- line plays for him. Watch how they play for the next when, especially in the same game. Blocking shoul improve. Overall protection just may be better without him under center. Seen it before. The fact he has his own office on the third floor and not downstairs with his people, the team, speaks volumes.

On both of those calls the passes that Love threw were so far off the receivers had to stop to come back for Love's horrible passes that the CB just ran them over. He had a 50% comp. rate and had at least 3 passes where he overthrew a wide open WR by 20 yards.. He's got an above average arm both he is horribly inaccurate. He threw into triple coverage 3 times.

Jordan Love had their star running back, wide receiver, left tackle, and more, and still was able to win. Was the win pretty? No, but to overcome that many barriers is just amazing. I know I made an example of Joe Burrow. I do like Joe Burrow. I think he's a great quarterback, but it shows sometimes how unintelligent Colin is. A win's a win at the end of the day.

    I think the Saints losing Carr helped the Packers a little, but it’s not like he was consistently doing much or driving down the field before he went down. I think it was a little easier from that point on. But also, Packers adjustments to attacking outside the hashes, using their speed and attacking CB 27 made the difference. GB defense stepped up at the perfect time. And yes, we got lucky as hell with the missed field goal. But that’s football. Great week of football overall, wow. Weeks like this remind me why I love this game so damn much!

      @@ian1753 what are you even arguing? I never said Jameis was doing better than Carr or even alluded to that?? You must be misunderstanding something. @@bucky3034 You said Carr getting injured helped the Packers "a little". Im not sure how you can say that when he was controlling the offense and keeping the D fresh and scored 10 Pts. When he went out early it wrecked the whole game plan and Winston and company were completely discombobulated. To the point getting a single 1st Down was almost impossible.

    • @bucky3034
      @bucky3034 10 месяцев назад +2

      @@ian1753 i can easily say that because as my first comment said, he wasn’t playing lights out, dicing up the Packers defense. The touchdown came from a GB failed 4th down at midfield. He was manageable. Obviously Winston played worse than Carr as expected. All I’m saying is the Packers getting their heads out of their asses helped them win more than Carr getting injured. Not even close to “completely wrong”. Completely wrong is a spoiled lucky coach being a cool tough guy talking shit to an 86 year old legend of the game simply for speaking facts, when actual analysts (ironically like Cowherd) have said much worse opinionated things about them.

      @@bucky3034 Well where I am coming from is a simple FG is all the Saints needed in the 2nd Half to seal the game. However huge props to the Packers D for shutting out the Saints in the 2nd Half. I can't remember the last time the Packers D did something like that since Week 1 against the Bears in like 2019. Although that D wasn't as good as we thought looking back it was just the Bears were terrible lol.

      On top of missing Jones, Watson, Bahk, and Jenkins to start the game, Jaire is out, Valentine the CB who started in his place gets hurt and doesn’t finish the game, their pro bowl MLB Campbell hurts his ankle and doesn’t come back, Zack Tom the starting RT gets hurt in the 4th Quarter and doesn’t come back, so Love missing 3 starting O Linemen, his best WR, his pro bowl RB, they can’t run the ball (Love was the leading rusher with 39 yards) down 17, throwing to rookies Musgrave, Reed, Wicks, 2nd year WR Doubs, so besides getting use to being the full time starter and replacing an all time great QB, Love also has to teach and mesh with these rookies on the fly, and he was able to lead the biggest Packers comeback in his first home start, the completion percentage and miscommunications will improve once the young guys get up to speed and Love can just take the field and execute, this team hasn’t peaked yet but all signs show that they will be pretty damn good in the near future

    Btw packers inactive/ injuries were Aaron Jones, Christian watson , Elton Jenkins, David Bakhtirai which all are key players and the best on this offense . 1 is a probowler rb 1, the other is a uprising wr1 star, and the other 2 are pro bowler oline players, the only reason they havent been in the pro bowl because before last season they missed the whole season before that and for Bakh he missed 2 season due to both having a acl injury but they are still really good. Zach Tom gets hurt in the game which he is the 3rd best oline player for the packer. We also were missing Both Jaire Alexander and Eric stokes and Devondre campbell our Cb 1,3(I think eric will be better then rasul but right now or just when they both play rasul is better then stokes but anyway.) So saints should have easily been able to score more with Derek carr before he got hurt. And even if jamis winston playd they still should have scored at least 1 with him. The whole defense this game half of them were praticed squad players who got called up. Impressive comeback from the packers and embarrising lost. If both teams were fully healthy this is a packers win again. But alvin kamara would destroy our defense just look at the falcons game.

Selfish and tone deaf for his team to witness BUT great for marketing opportunities and his own pockets. He went the route of political correctness at expense of authenticity.
