Justin do you know the screw size for the DDR5 slot on the motherboard? It didnt include screws for it and I want to install my 4tb M2 ssd
I rarely comment on videos, but I feel you deserve the compliment for making a video that is exactly what it needs to be. All the info I wanted is here, most importantly with great comparisons to other comparable systems and the necessary understandings of pros/cons. Great work, man.
Thank you so much for this vid! As someone who appreciates the breakdown of multiple benchmarks, this was exactly what I needed to finally pull the trigger on getting a new gaming PC. Now to go see what you've got in the way of monitors! 😀
Thanks Justin! I watched your review of the A7300 and that inspired me to get the I7400 a few months back. I love it and it's been performing beyond my expectations. I've been looking out for your review of the 7400 but I guess it didn't matter because I have it already! Thanks again and thanks for the amazing content!
Curious did you get Dominator and XLR8 or I Vengeance and Vuerto?
Great review, Justin! Ton's of detail, and your videos are well put together.
Been doing some research, and your channel was a HUGE help! Thanks a ton.
@Emo Wyvern glad I could help Emo! I hope you find what you’re looking for! When you do please remember me and use one of my links to the site you buy from! :)
You have NO IDEA how much you helped me and my fiance! I just want to take the time to thank you. I've been looking for a gaming pc that can render with vray at the fastest speeds due to my career. Everywhere I've looked, NO ONE has broken down every aspect of a pc. You are HIGHLY easy to understand and are able to help someone like me who does NOT understand tech. Not only did you help me understand what PC i want/need, you also have helped me learn some "tech language" along the way so now i actually know what im talking about and looking for. I have looked all over the internet and in the real world to have someone to help me understand what i need in my pc and what pc i should be looking at. NO ONE helped me so far until i came across your videos.
Thank you SO MUCH!
One of the best reviews of anything ever that I've seen. Thank you!
Just got mine. Love it so much. Was playing a game last night and it didn't sweat at all.
Thanks for the vid. I honestly don’t know how you don’t have more subscribers. I plan on spending when I get my first PC so the i8100 is definitely what I’m going for when it comes to a high end gaming pc. 🤜🏽🤛🏽
Thanks for review and comparisons of each system on my list. Its a tough call to spend another $700 for the i8100 and in either case I am leery of the hardware lottery for both the i7400 and i8100. Still contemplating my purchase but your videos have been informative and helpful.
same, considering purchasing the i7400 w 4090 and 13th gen i9, just wondering if I want to spend that extra for the Graphics card. but it would be so nice to have a 4090
I got the i7400 4080 and mine came with an overclocked GameRock omniblack, and about $400 more than the FE 4080. Not sure if it was due to gpu supply issues at the time, but it was an amazing deal all around.
Does the model you got come with 12gb or 16gb 4080?
Hey Justin thanks for the great reviews and thermal testing also could you take a look at the ek battle 140 4070 7600x pc from ek pcs
Justin, your videos never fail to impress. Always thorough, unbiased, and well thought out.
@BootsandUtes thank you! I really appreciate that !
@@JustinTechTips For sure! You deserve every bit of praise. You put a tremendous amount of effort in these videos and it shows.
Very detailed as always, thanks!
@Godspeed glad you enjoyed it!
Very helpful video, thank you!
Which top specs PC would you recommend for heavy Photoshop editing? Will highly appreciate your recommendation. thank you!
Oh boy I don't regret buying this pc at all, i've only had it for 2 months but it crushed my expectations. I highly recommend it my life is complete with it (plus I get 400+ fps on war thunder at max graphics)
@Colonel35Llama 400fps?! Dang! Are you running it at 4k too?
@@JustinTechTips Yes it's amazing !!
no problem with cpu throttling?
@@Gin-mz5wo It is staying under 56 cel
Woah, May be a random question but what monitor do you use?.
Thanks for the review - I JUST received the i7400 yesterday and I am setting it up now. I purchased the i7400 based upon previous reviews you've made and information about the i9, 4090 GPU. Thanks for all the indepth information!
@Doug Masters it makes me happy to hear my videos have helped you! You are gonna love that PC! Just out of curiosity did you buy from Best Buy or directly from Corsair?
@@JustinTechTips Welp, everything is ALL setup! The system DID NOT disappoint! I built a Airplane SIM so that I could save on training cost. The system is pushing X-Plane12 and can DEFINITELY handle the graphic intensive details at its full settings. I am in computers by trade and there are SO MANY technical choices (CONFUSING) a person can make and based upon the knowledge share you invested in your viewers, I made the right choice! Kudos to your channel...now...Its time to be in the "Wild Blue Yonder!" Thanks Again Justin!
@@dougmasters4466 nice! I ordered the same system direct from Corsair a few days ago - should ship on July 4th,
Are you planning to run MS Flight Sim on yours? That and DCS are the first things I’m itching to try with my Quest 2 headset .. Got my MFG Crosswind pedals and Thrustmaster Warthog ready to go, so it should be quite an immersive experience.
Great tips. Best Diablo 4 rig for the the money on ultra settings? I’m thinking of just getting this one after watching the many reviews you did.
Bought this badboi last month. avid single player console gamer thru N thru pretty intimidated trying to decide on my first high end gaming PC. My one month review is that this is a remarkable machine for the price point. Went with I7 13gen and RTX 4080. I’m playing pretty much all AAA games (depending on game) at 100+ fps at 1440 and 4K.
What is your average cpu temps? I just returned a Predator 5000 with a I7 13700 that would run in the 90's playing Fortnite and COD. TIA
@@philconnelley6041I’m averaging about 55-58 C during long gaming sessions. Quiet too
Hi, great videos, thanks! Any chance you’ll be reviewing the Vengeance I7500 i9 14900KF RTX 4090? Curious how the new i9 gen 14 with the 4090 and 64gb ddr5 performs. Appreciate all the content!
Fantastic reviews Justin, I spent the past week going through almost all of your high-end gaming rigs as I'm in the market for one. However, I'm having a hard time deciding and was hoping you could help. I really like the Vengeance i7400 - but the 240mm water-cooling on a 13900K concerns me a bit. I really don't want a noisy machine and for that reason I was considering the a7300 instead. At my age, I don't really care too much about flashy coolers, so the Corsair case for the abovementioned PCs appeal the most to me. I could stretch my budget to the i8100, but seems like the extra 2GB SSD, larger case and motherboard isn't quite worth the $800 extra.
Do you have experience with Origin PCs? They claim their Corsair 5000X Case can support the iCUE H150 360mm system. With almost identical components, their price is around $4K. My max is $5K, and even though I have plenty of experience building PCs (I did this for a living about 20 years ago for a couple of years), I prefer a prebuilt this time around since I don't have the capacity to troubleshoot individual components if something fails. Can you help me out? Thanks for all you do!
Hey there! As a fellow tech enthusiast, I understand your concerns about noisy machines. If you're considering the Corsair Vengeance i7400 but worried about the water-cooling system, you might want to try the HOTO Compressed Air Capsule. It's a compact and versatile cleaning tool that can help you maintain a spotless environment, including your desktop. It offers powerful vacuuming and blowing capabilities, allowing you to keep your gaming rig clean and dust-free. Plus, it's reasonably priced compared to other brands. Check it out!
Aye! My comment made the video. Amazing video, gonna use your affiliate link to purchase this pc. Thanks
You hit your table when talking alot..lol
Thanks for the review...i was really wanting to see how the i7400 with the 4070TI stacked up to the 4080 and 4090 models too. EDIT: I pulled the trigger on the 13700K/4080 i7400 for my nephew...on sale for $2899.99....I only looked at Corsair, Lenovo, Alienware and NZXT...didn't want to deal with a Cyberpower or iBuyPower PC. They had a 13700KF/4080 Legion Tower for $2100 but only came with 512GB storage vs 2TB and only 16gb green stick ram vs 32GB Vengeance RGB ram and a Air Cooler for the CPU vs Liquid Cooled on the Corsair.
Thanks I ordered mine last night
Really love the review.
Hello and thank you for the in depth review! I'm NOT a PC builder but looking at this product for a growing audio and video production business. I'm wondering if it's possible to add at least 2 PCie cards for Universal Audio plugins. It would also be nice to add thunderbolt 3 inputs. Is that possible on PC's? Thank you!
Those UAD DSP cards can run quite hot. I’d be concerned about having those installed next to the 4090 and reducing its longevity. Seems native plugins or external DSP would be a better option.
Great videos! I’m looking at one of these for heavy VR in DCS. Which system would you recommend?
@OO Dice thanks man! This one is definitely at the top of my list. Technically the i8100 is overall a little faster and cooler but it's a lot more expensive go.corsair.com/g1RmyO
Awesome video super informative
@joseph hemmerich thanks man! Glad it’s helped you!
I seen your 10+ videos before subscribing. But I don't have any doubts to ask.
I bought this PC after watching your review. Thanks for all the work and info you provided.
@JClif awesome! These videos take a really long time to test, collect/compare data, and review so I'm really glad it was helpful! Did you use my link to purchase?
Hi, thanks for this video. I was on the fence between this i7400 and the ABS Vortex-X Aqua. The thermals you mentioned about this i7400 CPU, is that something you'd worry about for the longterm? I noticed the ABS Vortex has a similar specs but a 360mm AIO...
I know I'm late but the thermals are fine, for a case this packed the thermals are surprisingly really good.
Just purchased the i7500 with an i9 14900k and a 4090🙂
I can’t wait for it to show up at my front door! Thank you for this awesome review!
Same how is it running and fps results?
How’s it going?
@@RonaldMcDonald519 so far great!! 350fps with MW3 with settings on max! Jedi survivor with everything on max running an easy 120-150. Cooling is phenomenal with gpu temps of 46! No random shutdowns and no issues with ICUE software either. An amazing pc and worth every dollar.
@@RonaldMcDonald519 Mine has been absolutely insane!! I play mainly competitive cod and am hitting 550-600 fps in basic 1080 settings and got a 1080 540hz monitor to go with it… it’s super nasty
Really curious how you feel about the entry level Corsair at BestBuy, the i5 with the RTX 3070.
Hi man, I'm stuck in a situation and I need your advice, I just bought the new MSI GAMING X TRIO RTX 4070 and I have paired it with the Intel I5-13400F, my question is, should I keep this build or change the processor with an Intel i5-13600KF (There is a 115$ price difference between the processors from where I am) the purpose of this build is gaming .(Sorry but I'm not an AMD processors fan, so I have to pick between these 2)
Love your channel Justin! Thanks for your great reviews. Just got mine. Dominator memory is now Vengeance. PNY is now Vuerto (no RGB no overclock). Not huge deal but definite bait and switch. Had I known I would probably go with something else as there are a lot of great choices at this price. Called Corsair about this and was treated like a spoiled child. Even told me if I did not like the 4090 I was free to buy another. Yeah OK... Just letting you know before you buy. Pretty disappointing. They even changed the memory advertisement to vengeance after I ordered and would not give me the dominator. Kinda like ordering a Corvette and getting a Camaro.
edit: They reconsidered and decided to give me the dominator memory after determining what I said was correct after blowing me off initially. I actually decided it's not worth the effort.
I just purchased the Corsair Premium build kit PC, with the RTX 4090 on sale for $3,299. I'm also adding WD_BLACK 2TB SN850X NVMe and another Corsair Vengence RGB Ram 64GB.
Great video I’m going to be purchasing the 8100 through your affiliate link later today! Thanks
@Scapezs thank you so much! I really appreciate that!
thank you for the review
@Mild Sauce no problem!
When you do these reviews, can you also talk about quest 2 vr gaming please
Would this be good for streaming and gaming at same time ?
Add to my gaming set up in 2023 collection's n my gaming consoles
Does this review hold true for the i7500 vengeance as well?
I’m watching this as if I’m not getting my first pc that was 1,000 dollars next week 😂
@Harley Thompson lol yeah there’s a lot of people like that considering how expensive some of these top tier prebuilts are
Your English sucks.
I just ordered this PC, do you know if you have to update any drivers/ BIOS or is it good right out of the box?
This is a great review. Have you ever thought about reviewing the corsair one? They are more compact but i feel they still count as prebuilts. I have always wondererd about their temps being so compact.
I have a corsair one with gtx 1080 for the past 5 years - it runs great across all big ticket games I played, the latest being cyberpunk 2077, which gave me 0 issues during launch save for some fps drops. The only real issue I had in the 5 years with corsair one is the D-drive coming loose a little and I had to open up the case and reattach it. Temp wise there has been 0 issues for me.
@fixedskye thank you for the reply. I was looking at those on the corsair website. I like the fact that they have a small form factor but was worried about longevity. 5 years is fantastic.
@@Yardbank yep, its a solid machine, ONLY downside is that it's super hard to upgrade
I got the i7400 w/ 4090 and i9 and it runs amazing, under 65C GPU at 100%, and under 70C CPU. I get over 1400fps in Fortnite 4K Performance mode, 160-200fps 4K Max settings in Forza Horizon 5.
That’s insane dude I might get that version, I was gonna go with the omen 45l but I think after watching this review I’m sold.
Recently got interested in buying my first gaming pc do you have any recommendations that are around $1.8K or less
Hey Justin! Quick question, first off, Thank u so much for this, I am a really big gamer and My pc is a i3 and I thought it was so good and it runs at maybe 200 fps on shooter games like arsenal on roblox, And this pc was a BEAST! Just had a few questions, Do u have a estimate of how much fps it could run on roblox on high graphics? Idk about 4k tho just like in roblox settings, Also is it worth it for me? Thank u for reading this if u did!! The pc u reviewed I am Interested in!

Hey Justin do you have any tips of how to keep these GPU temps cooler.
I’m looking to get the i7400 with the 4080 in it. You didn’t go too much into detail on that one and I can’t find any video at all about it because all the videos are about the i9 version. Any help?
I want to get the same one but with the i7 13700kF and the RTX 4070Ti. What do you think?
As a person who has a corsair 4000d i love the case and there prebuilds are prtty good lol
i recently bought the i5 version can it support the i9 if i buy it? hopefully its not a stupid question im new in gaming pc world just subscribed your an expert
Hello, I really enjoy your videos. I just came across your channel recently. When I’m wondering is what kind of computer do I need to play Microsoft flight Sim 2020. That is the only game/simulator I am interested. I am pilot and this computer would be for that and backup. My other computer is a MacBook Pro M1. I have it set up as a desktop and I run everything on Mac. But I understand Fais him doesn’t work well with Mack. how do I need the 4090 do I need 64 gigabytes of RAM or can I get away with 32? Thanks
@joeglennaz Hey Joe, if it were any other game other than Microsoft Flight Sim I would say there is no way you would ever need more than 32GB but some environments at Ultra settings can actually get close to that 30GB. And then with background apps, you've already used up all your RAM. Do you plan to crank up all your texture resolutions and settings to Ultra all the time? MFS seems to use everything you give it
Could you do one over the i7500?
Can you change the pc case to Fractal Design North Charcoal Black? is it both mid tower? Because i don’t like the glass
Getting ready to take advantage of Best Buy interest free financing. This will be my first gaming PC, currently have three Xbox Series X 's. Tired of mid gen refresh bs and false promises of 4k60fps / ray tracing. Will the Corsair Vengeance i7500 be a great decision? It has the new Intel i9 14900KF, 2tb ssd and RTX 4090.
hey do you have another recommendation for the 1k price range for a pc? the hp omen i was planning on buying lost its deal
Would you recommend this pc for streaming say call of duty? And making content?
I just ordered the Frost White version of this.
@Jeremy McPoggerton Nice! Yeah that one looks pretty slick. I wish Corsair would have sent me that one too, so I could get some nice B Roll shots of it to compare
Hey man question for you! Is there any way to get a capture card in this thing?
Which is the fastest usb port ? (Which should I plug my controller in)
So I’m getting my first pc and really know nothing about computers. Would this be a good first computer?
Hello this my first time trying to buy a a gaming pc is better off buying custom pc off micro center or just getting this will it last for long time or like break easily?
Great review woop
@Mighty Leg thanks man!
I wonder what options are available to make the cpu run cooler
They make different or “better” types of thermal paste which I wonder if it makes an actual difference!
Also to note they put RM1000e power supplies in some of these. I guess technically that's a "CORSAIR 1000W 80+ GOLD" power supply. Also, the RAM may be Vengeance and not Dominator. Their product page is now just saying vengeance ram and 1000w 80+ gold power supply. Will these changes impact the performance of this machine? I would say not at all.
Just bought a open box on Amazon for about 50% off, hope its a good choice was hard to say no to a 4090/13900k for the same cost of the GPU alone
Great review. Would really like you to review the Lenovo Legion i9 13900 and RTX 4090. It’s probably the best value option and it looks pretty modular as well.
@MikeInKing Thanks man! This one? lenovo.vzew.net/1rG92D Seems to be a few other people requesting that specific one too.. I'll look into it!
@@JustinTechTips that’s the one! With regular promos you can get it for even less as well!
Can you do a review of the MSI Infinite RS Gaming Desktop PC, Intel® Core™ i9, 32GB Memory, 2TB Solid State Drive, Windows® 11 Pro, NVIDIA GeForce RTX 4090
Alright it's been 8 months since you posted, but I'm looking into possibly buying this and I need to know, is it good at War Thunder?
Hi i just want to know that is it bad that the 4090 gpu is overheating that much?
Can you test Digital storm the aventum x please?
Can you review this costco pc? CyberPowerPC Gamer Supreme Gaming Desktop - 13th Gen Intel Core i7-13700KF - GeForce RTX 4080, White
So it’s fine for Sim racing?
Hi I got mine and wanted to add m.2 but I don't have a mounting screw and I have two extra m.2 slots is that normal?
Hey man stupid question....I have a 90 inch 4k 120hz TV that I wanna hook this up to. Is that possible ??
Would that tax the GPU outputting to such a huge display ???
Will games properly scale to my display ??
Will work just fine, the size of the display makes no difference to the GPU, 4k is 4k. Go for it!
Hey justin, i have a important question about the XMP options on this pc. So in my bios i have no option to enable XMP so im stuck at 4800mhz. Just wondering if you have the same experiance. It was advertised as 5600mhz and i paid 4k for it i just wish at the very least i got everything i paid for. Thanks.
Apparently, some of the earlier i7400's sent out didn't have the bios set correctly when they shipped it. The one I got last month was already set for 5600 MHz. Go into the BIOS and enable iEXPO under the overclocking options and reboot. The memory should then run at 5600 MHz.
can you do a review on CORSAIR - VENGEANCE i7400 Gaming Desktop - Intel Core i5-13600KF - 32GB DDR5 5600 MHz Memory - NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3070 - 1TB SSD - Black
Is the i7400 RTX 4070 still a good choice?
Do the Corsair Vengeance i7400 (and similar models) come with a Bluetooth connectivity module?
Bluetooth 5.2
Please make a review for Lenovo Legion Tower 7i Gen 8 prebuilt pc
I almost bought one but went with the R15. It’s running very cool and my flight sims run amazing with all the VR details cranked up
@Where Nerdy is Cool! which flight sims do you run in VR? Also which headset do you use
@@JustinTechTips DCS World mostly
@@JustinTechTips HP Reverb 2 VR headset
@@WhereNerdyisCool Can’t wait to try PCVR for the fist time when I get my i7400 in a couple weeks. The WW1/WW2 flight sims on Quest 2 are incredibly fun, but DCS has gotta be next level. That is, if I can remember how to get my p51 Mustang off the ground. ;)
Idk why they arent bringing them to germany/austria and switzerland.
I want one because its the best prebuild! :(
As someone who does have the money to spend a Lil around 3500-4000, as my first PC do u think this is worth it, I edit and like playing games at 4k
Beware I just bought the i7400 i9 4090 model on the box it says it comes with a RM1000x psu but the one in my system is the RM1000e model.
What do you think the best prebuilt on Amazon
Thank you
You should review this against the 4080 Prism 3
Looking at this and the R15, which one would be better for 400-500 fps on 1080p MW2
Which one did you get ?
What would you recommend to prevent this PC from over heating
It shouldn't be overheating unless you are in a room that's not air conditioned.
Ok so seriously looking to buy this one and get the good stuff rather then save money. So one question, i have slow internet like 60MB /s and our wifi is horrible, can this work better with ether net cable directly to our modem? My Dell always wants to run wifi and will not read the ethernet card and its slower then well I will never buy another Dell again. Thank you
Is the one that’s $1599 was the one that was being reviewed?
Shouldn't that SSD have a heat sink on it?
Please review the Legion tower 8. i9 version
@MJae this one? lenovo.vzew.net/1rG92D
I have it and is clean and a Beast - I use it on a C2 OLED 42, and it runs all in ultra extreme max settings. So good that when ever I upgrade next time I wont look at any other than corsair vengeance
Where can I buy in the UK can’t find it anywhere ?
I got the vengence with 4070ti and i7. It's running everything so far with 250+ fps. Modded Minecraft( shaders on). Valorant. LoL. Destiny. Some idie games
@christenberry This one? bestbuy.7tiv.net/VmOxVM Yeah that's a pretty good deal!
wow that is a heck of a deal
I just ordered this same one! Can't wait.
@@commandersyfe5983is it good?
What one would u pick the i18100 or i7400?
If money were no object I would go with the i8100 as it's got more wiggle room for upgrades, looks a lot cooler, and has more fans to keep it cool. But the better bang for your buck would be the i7400 as it performs pretty much just as good
