- Join myself and @ThemeParkDudeReviews as we check out Efteling a park located in The Netherlands.
As we navigate this amazing immersive park see if I feel if this better than Disneyland Paris.
The park was opened on May 31, 1952 ( We share a birthday!)
It evolved from a nature park with a playground and a Fairytale Forest into a full-sized theme park. It now caters to both children and adults with its cultural, romantic, and nostalgic themes, in addition to its wide array of amusement rides including six roller coasters and four dark rides.
It is the largest theme park in the Netherlands and one of the oldest theme parks in the world. It is twice as large as the original Disneyland park in the United States and predates it by three years. Annually, the park has more than 5 million visitors.
I've decided to take my now elderly Mum here at Christmas instead of Disneyland Paris. I've wanted to go since I was a kid, and this place looks truly magical, over the clean and shiny sparkle at Disney which she will appreciate! Great video, even more excited now!
Ohhh that’s so exciting! Honestly I am a big Disney person but I preferred this park over Disneyland Paris! I hope she has an amazing time! I’m planning to take my dad 🥰

Please be advised you can rent several aids to help cross the park, in case your mother has some mobility issues. The park is large 🌲🌳🌷🪻
Good choice. Its also cheaper and more of a relaxing park than DLP. Your mom will love it

I'm very proud for having Efteling in our country. I'm going there since i was little, and now we can enjoy with our son too.

@@poppymaysadventures in the winter efteling has a winter setting, i've never been there, onky when they were setting it up at start of november. Im going to winter efteling this year too.

Next time you can eat the Poffertjes (mini pancakes) near the museum. It is made with buckwheat. Well it was you can ask and check..Also the pancake restaurant has gluten free pancakes..On the Efteling site you can see where you can eat gluten free if you like when you come back next time. My dad and my sister also eat gluten free. Great vlog!

Efteling reuses everything, and throw nothing away. Doen this since they opened in 1952.

Im at the efeling every 2 weeks. I can explain thw story of vogelrok really easily. You are stranded on an island with no way back. So you try to get off on the island by attaching yourself to the leg of the bird. And then the bird takes off😂

Need to start saving hard for Eftelling, wish we still could have gone back in December 2020 😭
It’s honestly so cheap! Much cheaper than uk parks, if you get a cheap flight we stayed offsite for €99 a night park tickets €49 a day 😍 food and drink is the cheapest I’ve seen in any park

Without question, Efteling is a beautiful themeparc! But not my favorite parc in Europe. In my opinion Europapark in Germany is one or two steps higher! But Efteling is in my top 5 themeparcs in Europe. btw nice video!
Fair enough! Europa park is on the list of must visits! We have some trips comming up at the end of the month so keep your eyes peeled 👀
is it better than Disneyland Paris ??
This is a hard question because I love Disney however a lot of Disney inspiration came from Efteling, in my personal opinion it’s better than Disneyland Paris but I absolutely love both 🥰 I highly recommend anyone to check it out!
Cool video! I really dont get that people from the US and the UK are so obsessed with a ride having a story. You make up your own story within the the theme. Thats whats its all about.
I like a story within a ride however theming is my number 1 and I think a lot of uk parks lack the ability to tell a story through there theming, although it’s got slightly better in recent years i still believe it’s not a touch on European parks 😁
Pls go to Europa Park in Germany its so much better then Efteling 🧐
