I love to see how people who have never been to the park see it. Im a big fan of the Efteling and come there at least once a month. I think this is the Dutch disneyland.
Aww how lovely that you can go so often! Definitely agree with it being the Dutch Disneyland, it was just so magical! Absolutely fell in love with it!! ❤️
No matter what age you have, when you're in the Efteling you feel like a child again! It is such a special atmosphere in this park, a GENUIN pure and sincere atmosphere, that is why I never felt the urge to go to Disneyland, seems more "plastic" to me if you know what I mean, thumbs up for a very nice and long vlog!
You are absolutely right about the aquanura watershow. The light doesn't do it justice. If you can revisit the park in the winter, the show is 10x more beautiful and exciting then.
Yeah we loved it but felt like we missed out with it still being so bright! Definitely want to get back when it is darker to see it in its full glory! ❤️
In Villa Volta next to the animatronics is a canvas of a man. That man was Ton van de Ven , the designer of Villa Volta, Dreamflight, Fata Moorgana, and many other atractions
Love the Efteling! Just wanted to say that you both seem like such genuine happy people, enjoyed every minute of this video, your enthusiasm and your pesonalities!
Fun fact for flying dutchman, the trains were actually designed that guests dont get really wet, the front of the boat has some type of V form that they tested wich shape it would get the guests least wet. This is because they wanted that the guests have a nice non wet day
That is so smart! How clever! I am always worried that I'm going to get soaked but was pleasantly surprised to just have a little sprinkle. Big splash that looks really impressive without all the wetness 😂❤️
We absolutely love your videos on Efteling! We travelled to Efteling at the same time as you and we sat next to you at the the pancake house, we saw you had a camera and we were waiting to see if you had videos coming out. Like you, we also took full advantage of the early park access and rode Baron sat behind you for 4 circuits without getting off. We look forward to your next videos.
No way! That's amazing!!! Absolutely love that you were there at the same time and how funny that you were sat right by us! Thank you for watching and hope you enjoyed Efteling as much as we did! ❤️
Birds nesting in Efteling is always interesting. I once saw one nesting in one of the lights in Joris and the Dragon, the wooden coaster. Granted it was warm in one of those chandelier lights. But getting your entire nest shaken about every other minute can't be good for a bird's life, can it?
How adorable! I love a good theme park bird haha. We did think that, surely it is a bit chaotic to have your nest hanging above a ride! Every so often a stick or leaf would fall out so it must have to keep replacing bits too ❤️
@@travelswithellaandfrank Oh yeah, PS. the goat riders were just a bunch of thugs from years bygone in the local area (as in, that corner of the country efteling is in) myths say there was no lock that could stop them, and they rode goats through the night sky. Fun part of efteling is been around so long that great grand parrents that visited back in the 50s can still have the same experience as all old attactions are still there and all following generations can expereince them also and the new atractions that came after . giving the grand parrents the same new experience as their grand children . Its literaly a park for the entire family and several generations.

If I'm not mistaken Bokkenrijders (goatriders) are originally mythical ghosts riding goats through the air. Villa Volta however tells the story of an 18th century band of violent thieves that roamed the Brabant/Limburg (Dutch provinces) countryside robbing, extorting farms. They were called Bokkenrijders and operated in the area the Efteling is in as well as in the rest of southern Netherlands and the northern parts of Belgium in the second half of the 1700's.
