Today, I just had a bit of stiffness below the waist so I did this workout. Since the start of the pandemic and finding your Pilates workouts, I have done one of them daily. They keep me pain-free at 81.

As I have a general poor level of fitness I've started with your stand up workouts and will move onto the floor workouts for back pain relief. Well done, you're a life saver.

Good Morning I’ve just done my first Pilates class! My wife practices regularly with you in a morning, I do yoga but I’ve found it a bit of a struggle lately so I thought I’d give your practice a try while my wife was out. Being a 64 year old bloke with a pacemaker, asthma and diabetes I have to do a bit more than a walk in the park, and I have to say this was just right for me. I’m getting past doing an hour at a time, unless it’s a yin yoga practice. So I’m thinking your going to be part of our morning exercise routine from now on especially as I can link my iPad to the tele’ so we’re not squinting at a little screen. So from both of us a big fat thank you for what you do!
Hello Steven, That's great to hear. Really glad the exercises work for you. Getting the stretches in as well as getting the core work that you will from regular Pilates will be really good for your overall strength and flexibility. I would recommend the breathing too as it helps loosen any tightness in your rib cage and shoulders from your asthma. I have few asthmatic clients who have said the breathing has helped immensely. Interestingly, Joseph Pilates who invented the method was asthmatic and was very keen to improve his own breathing which I think is where the attention to breath came from. Keep up the great work and best wishes to you and your wife. 😊

You are the best teacher I have had-you make every move seem simple yet challenging- I have very tight right SI joint -would sitting on a large ball instead of sitting on a sofa help?
Helleo Debbie, sitting in a large swiss ball is great for trhe core and easier on the lower back. Sadly, our sofas are not good for the back if they are vey low. As long as the ball keeps your hips at the same level as your knees or if the pain is bad in the back keeps your hips higher than your knees then that would work I think. Do let me know 🌟😊

I recently managed to do something really painful to my lower back whilst tidying up some tomato plant stems (so not exactly heavy lifting or straining!) and these exercises have made a HUGE difference! I do a lot of walking and the exercises have highlighted some tight hip and leg muscles. Thanks for all your wonderful videos and fantastic explanations. Brilliant! 👍🏻
I have had so much low back pain and just did your program. It was so wonderful to find out what kind of stretches I need to do reach those very tight places. I’ve had a knee replacement, been going to therapy, it’s helped a lot, but now I’m dealing with this back pain! So so relieved and loose!
Loved this new class Rachel. Have been waiting for it to be available. I have sooo many back issues from 40 years as a flight attendant ! The long haul flights of dealing with not only luggage & overhead bins but maneuvering heavy food & beverage carts takes its toll on ones body. I haven’t had or felt the need to get another massage thanks to finding your wonderful you tube classes. You are my daily inspiration....the variety of classes and your informative instructions keep me inspired!
