Great list! My number one pick for crawlers would also be the Fusion. I have done a ton of mods to it, and I have yet to find a line it won't crush. But it was still impressive out of the box. Great content! Keep it coming! Happy new year!
Yeah, love all your pics, but number one for me is my FMS Chevy Blazer 1/10 scale, as always appreciate your videos. This one was super cool to see all your awesome rigs well at least 10 of them. I’ll watch for the next one 2025 going to be a great year I could feel it.👍👍 well until next time peace and chicken grease😁👍👍👋👋😎
Do a video on how you built your indoor course! Would be awesome! Been looking at getting into the hobby now for a year or so. Your videos talked me into it and I just ordered my first TRX4M lol love the videos!
Just bought the Ascent 18 for $95 and the Fusion for $329 before Christmas. You can’t touch that performance for the price. I’ve already built up the 18 and am working on upgrading a couple of things on the Fusion. Redcat has a winning formula right now.
I go that meus24 kit as well. My only negative is there is no true setup for the ESC and the battery. You basically need a new servo with a longer connector or you cant do it. I have my battery flopping in the back area, the esc floats in the cab. Until I am able to figure out something else. I still love it. My kids like how it looks as well. I will use it to experiment and then figure out what is best for their little base camps.
I almost bought an Accent Fusion a week ago. But my LHS sold out of them right before Christmas. So I just bought an RC boat instead. I have a river in my backyard, so it was always going to be either a bigger scale crawler or a boat. My TRX4M F150 High Trail practically lives in the river, but some obstacles are way too large for it's 1/18th size. Would love to have it's 1/10th big brother to match, but that's expensive.... One day!
Yeah, red cat did a outstanding job, I just got the scout11 haven’t got to run it yet, I did get some brass from red cat mostly the front and both front and back brass diff covers. I got the green one love the metal flake in it and the looks of the body love the old international scouts👍👍
I bought 5 FMS rc in 2024. The last order still waiting for shipping. Can’t wait what FMS rc’s coming this 2025. UK needs a distributor for REDCAT brand.
Can you do a top 10 of best out of the box crawlers? Not only ones thats had 300-400 dollars in upgrades put on it thats been given to you to help sale there product 😏
Are you in cahoots with RC driver? Or are you guys rivals? Your guys’s content mirrors each other lol. It’s just an observation ha ha , I love you both, keep up the good work!
@ and you have been an inspiration to me! That wasn’t a jab at all, I’m just an RC dude myself so I’ve noticed that you too are on it! As soon as something drops I get back to back notifications from you two. It’s a good thing, I’m definitely not on your guys level. Respect ✊🏻, keep it up!
The ascent Fusion is def a nice rig, one of my faves from this year. I really like mine. Plus already has a bunch upgrades available. The ascent scout is probably my biggest disappointment out the box. Is way too light and top heavy. Shocks way too stiff and bouncy that they pitch the truck over with any flex. I can see the potential. But out the box, I will not drive it again until it’s built. It feels barely better than the easyRC 1/18s.
Ascent 18’s are pretty good Any 1/10 redcat crawler sucks, terrible axle design, poor suspension geometry that doesn’t transfer weight well. There is a false sense of economy with the ascent. People who get it sent to them say it’s great so that they get sent the next pre-release. So people think that they are awesome, then either think it was good for the money up front,or are unsatisfied with its performance and dump tons of money into it and get less in the end. The best rtr is probably the trx4 sport, you don’t have to immediately replace anything, decent electronics, good tires, great suspension geometry. Or a meus gold flake chassis. If you build a rig from scratch, you just get all the parts you want and you don’t pay for junk esc’s and servos or junk tires. You can build a meus gold flake chassis to about the same performance level as a stock VRD for under $500 all in.

i'm really not a fan of redcat crawlers, they make some of the ugliest crawler bodies and their engineering team are some of the worst when it comes to designing crawlers

Saw this quote somewhere...."If your RTR can slay your hard lines, your hard lines are weak." Nice video, keep up the fun content!
Great video Adam! The script! Omg the script! That’s is a ton of thoughtful dialogue. Love your list too. Here’s to a big 2025 for CapeCrawlers!
If anyone on here has redcats ear, I would love to see a fusion version of the ascent 18! Happy new year!
You can get an amazing Big Country kit in Etsy for 25 bucks! I just built an F-150 super duty and it has become my favorite build of the year i think!
I love my Ascent Fusion! Its number one for me too! Redcat was swinging above their weight class for sure and knockin the big boys down! Great video!
I absolutely love my Texoma RC slayer!

Redcat for sure!!!! Amazing video. Perfect !!!!
Great video! I do also agree that the Ascent Fusion is top tier as far as RTR releases go.
Thanks for all your insightful videos! Happy New Year

I’m fairly certain he has one from a few years ago

A little disappointed the hobbyplus cr18p evo pro wasn't in there. I love your channel. You have helped me out in the rc world a bunch. thnx
The evo was a 2023 release otherwise I would have had it in the top spot!
Love all the trucks !
Yeah, the FMS Chevy blazer 1/10 scale become my favorite,👍👍
Yeah, red cat did a outstanding job, I just got the scout11 haven’t got to run it yet, I did get some brass from red cat mostly the front and both front and back brass diff covers. I got the green one love the metal flake in it and the looks of the body love the old international scouts👍👍
I think the HPI venture 18 is the best 1/18 RTR of the year
I bought 5 FMS rc in 2024. The last order still waiting for shipping. Can’t wait what FMS rc’s coming this 2025. UK needs a distributor for REDCAT brand.

Yes I love my fusion just bought it for Christmas can't wait to get out snowing so I can't play with it yet I like your number one pic
Do an fcx18 k10 video on suspension upgrade and brass weight
Great video , subbed
Your vids are cool dude
What????! Did I miss the FMS FCX24M land Rover? That thing absolutely dominates everything on this list😅
Did you do a VRD Carbon? I did, good servo, Fusion Pro. My Ascent Fusion did all that too.
No love for the hpi venture 18?
Oh I love the venture but the disproportionate body and scale made it less appealing to me. Its still a great truck
Are you in cahoots with RC driver? Or are you guys rivals? Your guys’s content mirrors each other lol. It’s just an observation ha ha , I love you both, keep up the good work!
Haha thanks! I love Greg! He’s been a great mentor since I started my channel.

I have a sweet Dodge ram 2500, I new axel had good taste........
Nice Nice
What is your favorite build kit?

But out the box, I will not drive it again until it’s built. It feels barely better than the easyRC 1/18s.
Tax refund season coming up i maybe have to pick up that fusion ascent, ill have to find a different body for it though
Shame there not sold in the uk.
You should look at getting a scx10 cj7. That would be sick
Ascent 18’s are pretty good
Any 1/10 redcat crawler sucks, terrible axle design, poor suspension geometry that doesn’t transfer weight well. There is a false sense of economy with the ascent. What. Scx 24 scale base camp
I. Love the scx 24 base camp
Everything on Atlan's site is sold out....
The last one needs lying down rear shocks so a bed can be added so it doesn't look so stupid.

Man you gonna sell any of your builds? Why don’t you start a new job building and selling your gear….
Ok…. What’s up with the Texoma slayer name? I’m from an area called texoma are you too?
