fantastic work as always curt! It was a joy seeing you bring this thing to life! you did a great job on the sculpt, and I love the name!
Thanks dude! I couldn’t have done it without your reference and advice!
Fantastic straightforward video. Well done! Tip for dwell casting - if you're going to let it dwell for multiple hours; putting a piece of cling film across your mold, making sure it touches the liquid latex, will ensure that layer of latex doesn't start to cure and cause lumps in the rest of your latex :)
Again, very well done and informative video!
Thanks for the awesome comment and kind words! Yeah, I usually use a large pane of glass for the same reason, but it’s an excellent tip. I’ll make sure to mention it in the next build video!
I’ve always loved the look of the KNB mask. You did a great job replicating it.
Thanks my dude!
The KNB you made looks like the screen used one! It looks so good and you are so talented!
Thank you so much
Damn good result, mate. Been looking forward to seeing it.
Thanks Dude! It was a fun project
Nice awesome job man, u should do a Jarvis mask throughout the Jason Franchise cause I thought about making my personal favorite ones
I’d love to one day, I’ve got so many masks I wanna make
This is fantastic it came out brilliant. Love content like this 😀
Thank you so much my dude!
That looks so good! Great Job!
Thank you!
Another awesome video
Thanks my dude!
Is ur pfp from an edit you saw?
@@FounderFrightFactoryStudios No I don't think so
Awesome video! And that's a awesome shirt ya got there!
Thanks, and I know, some awesome fucker from half the world away sent it to me 🤔
@@TheCBStudioOfficial also Casey Chasem lol oh how she got what she deserved
Was waiting for this vid! Love these tutorials! 🤘🏼💯
It’s been planned for so long
Came out amazing man, good job!
Thank you my dude! I’m pretty happy with it
Amazing Job! It looks exactly like the one used in the original! Are these purchasable?
Thank you so much, it was definitely a fun project to try.
i have never liked the KNB mask, thought it looks too goofy. But you did a fantastic job on this! looks great! keep up the good work
It’s a super super goofy design, agreed haha
Very nice indeed! Just a question, when demoulding the negative, is there a need for mould release?
Typically with plasticine and plaster, no. I’ve never needed it. I’ve heard of some people using a clear spray paint to seal their sculpts but I’ve never found it needed
This is gonna help so much!!!!
You know I’m helpful af 🤣
@@TheCBStudioOfficial haha that ain't no lie!!!!
I need a real cyclops visor xmen make it yellow please and thank you
I’m sorry?
What did you use to cut the eyes out? I have a blank that needs the eyes cut and I've never done it before
I have a small sharp pair of nail scissors that are perfect for cutting latex. Any department store or bargain store should have small scissors that will work great
I love your videos man
Thanks! 🤟🏻🤟🏻
@@TheCBStudioOfficial no problem, I watch your videos every day and they are very entertaining
I really appreciate it! I try my hardest to not be boring haha
@@TheCBStudioOfficial you are never boring bro, don't worry
Hello can you send a link on what Halloween shroud was used for this?
I don’t have a link unfortunately, it’s just a cheap mask I had kicking around in the collection
whatever happened to this mold? it's probably one of the best KNB molds i've seen other than the original burkbench ones.
It’s still sitting on my workbench. I haven’t gotten far enough to pull a proper cast for myself that isn’t just a test cast
@@TheCBStudioOfficial PLEASE tell me the idea of selling casts from it (or selling the mold itself) is in the air PLEASE TELL ME ITS IN THE AIR!
@DemoMeme nah I don’t really sell the pieces I make, it’s not something that I’ve thought about. I really just wanted one for myself and it was more fun to sculpt my own
@@TheCBStudioOfficial IM COPING!!!!!!!!!!!! im coping so hard, there are SO MANY crimes i would commit FREE OF CHARGE!!!!!! to get you to sell ONE of these! i would make the mold how you did BUT I'VE NEVER DONE ALLAT!!!
Do you know if it's possible to take an existing Ghostface mask and use that in place of the clay sculpt? I want to clone mine 😂
Like casting an existing ghostface mask? It is definitely possible, it’s called recasting but it’s basically the exact same moulding process
@TheCBStudioOfficial Yeah exactly! I've got an older one I want to make some clones of as it's past its use, but still has a great shape. Thank you.
What is your workspace like? I'm a makeup fx artist. But i havent gotten into the molding and casting phase yet. And really want to make masks. However i only live in an apartment. So do you work in a small place?
My workshop is a two car garage, so I’m very lucky to have a large enough space to do big projects. You can absolutely do stuff in small apartment spaces and I’ve done very much that in the past, however casting and moulding of full head masks can be very very messy and it’s easy for stuff to get out of hand
How can I buy one from you
You can’t, I don’t sell them
This some good ass content
Thanks my dude!
Where did you get the reference images? I would love to make my own but I can’t find any good reference
Douglas over at @drownedboyproductions posted them on his Instagram!
@@TheCBStudioOfficial oh sick I follow him guess I just didn’t see those thank you
have you made the tiny eyed ghostface mask from scream two
I haven’t, I will eventually add one to my collection though
@@TheCBStudioOfficial can I create my own ghostface mask
@@TheCBStudioOfficialwhere did you get a mold latex from ?
@shelbychilingirian1479 you sure can
Would the liquid latex you get from spirt Halloween work for making a mask like this? Or is it too thin for making masks
Honestly, I’ve never tried spirit’s liquid latex, it should work but it would take some experimenting I would think
@@TheCBStudioOfficial I think it might work but I’m just worried it’d be too thin cause that kind of latex is usually used for prosthetics and makeup
@richieboon1119 ultimately latex is latex, it may be thicker so you might have to brush layers in instead of dwelling it, which is still a valid way of making masks. I tend not to use that sort of store bought latex so I can’t say for sure really, but you’d definitely get a mask out of a mould, whether or not it’s spectacular quality is another issue entirely haha
@@TheCBStudioOfficial I think I might try painting a few layers and then dwell. Im not making a large or full head mask so Hopefully that’ll work
@richieboon1119 fingers crossed, let me know how it goes for you!
