How To: Make the Scream VI Aged Mask!

There are MANY different styles and ways to make the Billy Loomis aged mask from Scream VI. This is how I make mine and have gotten positive reception from fellow community members.
Today's mask is a commission for @bodaciouskyle
How do you seal the paint?
Use a latex paint sealer! I originally hadn't planned on sealing mine, but now I see it is definitely needed.

@@bvfprodigy3555 I never got around to using any sealer til just this week for BodaciousBagels mask.
It's a Flexible Acrylic Sealer. Once I find exact brand, I'll update here. Also remaking this tutorial w Nancy, Stu, and Billy all together!

You could also use pastel chalks mixed with water.
It's the same method but it will give a mask a beautiful collour

Some of the 25th anniversary mask have the shroud sewn on wrong. I feel like if you could find a solution to fix it without messing up the mask people would be greatfull:) love the video man
If you want factory quality, reach out to Corey Cole over at @GhostfaceRecovery on instagram
Corey does the highest quality reshroud work. All by hand and reuses the same sewing holes from factory.

Also here’s a tip if you don’t want to smell burnt plastic I would recommend wearing a face mask and covering nose because the burned plastic smells awful

This video is *fantastic* and I can't thank you enough for sharing your process! (I do have a question though: Wouldn't the E6000 adhere better if you didn't apply the paint beforehand? I wondered, but maybe there's a 'method to your madness'... 😄)
I'm no professional. I just didn't want any white to be shown.
I figure that since it's a wash there won't be any issues. Its really just splashing "water colors" on the mask w how thinned out the acrylic is haha.

The plastic pieces on the ends of shoelaces and hoodie strings are called aglets. (Not sure if I spelled it correctly or not, however)

I used the aged mask that they sell at Spirit Halloween. So far, I’ve just used white and black acrylic paint to repaint the face and highlight the cracks. Should I just use the golden brown paint you used to finish of the aged highlights?
I'd say it's worth a try!
What about a scream 4 aged mask? Do you have a video about how to reshape?

Flourescent green masks are already produced and sold officially. I have no plans currently, but that may change in the future

Apologies for late reply. I do not do custom orders as FunWorld has started hitting creatives with Cease and Desist letters over custom aged masks :(

How did u draw ur cracks
So before attaching to the mask, you sew the whole shroud down the neckline? I've seen one other video that left a but unsewn to allow for more head room. Thoughts?
On the back? No. You stop at the bottom of where your head would be
@713GhostFace yes on the back. But ive seen it where you stop before going all the way to the bottom to allow for the shroud to open up more. This apparently makes it easier to put on and take off. So the shroud isn't so tight.

Should achieve a similar effect. Might want to lightly sand the UltraWhite tho
But I’m curious how do you make a mold out of the mask you already got ?
I don't make a mold. I have never made molds.

Would this work and look good with an Ultra White 2017 Mask?
Never tried it, so can't say for sure. You may want to sand it down first before using the E6000 tho
@@Punkinachi what type of sand paper should we use?
@@Tonythebot a finer grit. Just need to slightly "rough it up" so the glue can stick. Since you're adding E6000 for texture, it really doesn't matter how scratched it gets.

I think the reason why the mask weathering looks different every time is because there is 3 killers, one wears Nancy Loomis's mask, another wears Stu's mask, ands the final wears Billy's mask.
Incorrect. Set just has variants of each mask. The killer only wore Billy's mask throughout the attacks with the exception of Subway Scene and Final Act.
To further elaborate, there were like 4 different versions of Billy Loomis's mask on set.
