He finally did it. Caddy’s longest individual video. At just over 1 hour long, what could possibly happen? Well, I’ll tell you. The creator took an antibiotic for a infection and had the mental image of tiny warriors waging epic battle against the bacteria inside his body. Fun fact about Lego Star Wars 1: it was initially released on the 29th of March 2005 with Star Wars Episode III: Revenge of The Sith releasing May 19, 2005. This means since Lego Star Wars 1 contained episodes 1-3 and had all remade (albeit silent) cutscenes for the entire movies, *playing that game all the way to the end would've spoiled Episode 3 for you 2 months before release*
That's also why the game doesn't actually use music from Episode 3, isn't it?

The original Rock Raiders for PC was an EXTREMELY different real-time strategy-ish base building game that I remember being quite good. Kind of makes me want to track it down and play it again.
Bit late to the party but figured this might be fun to know. The old Lego Rock Raiders doesn't do well with modern systems, but there's a fan remake called Manic Miners that does. If you're feeling nostalgic, you might wanna look into it ;)

I think this was the only time. Technically the kite appeared in the Pixar games video but wasn't called Spons, even though he did a sponsor segment. Before that was even weirder, it was Caddy with a sign reading "Spons" hanging from his neck.

@@dooplon5083 It is? I'd always heard they canceled the project due to low sales and that it sort of just melded into the bionicle kits and such. Not that I am any sort of expert Legos got way too expensive for my budget.

Fun fact: the gameplay of the DS version of Lego Rock Band is actually based on the PSP game Rock Band Unplugged, which itself is based on the gameplay of Harmonix's past game Amplitude.
And the Wii version is basically just normal Rockband.

Rock raiders on the PC is actually pretty good. There are tutorials that come up that tell you what to do. You build a base and use stuff you mine to make it. You can take control of any lego person, and train them.
The PC version is worth it, the PS one isn't.
PC Rock Raiders was worlds better than this Playstation version.
In PC Lego Island 2, all of the bugs in the PS version don't exist, and the characters even have a point animation like Caddy said they should have.

I was hyped when he said he was going to look at Rock Raiders, only to be confused as to why I didnt recognize it. The playstation version seems to be way different and worse than the pc version I remember.
Thats because the pc version is an RTS... and not horrible :D I no longer regret not getting it on the PS1 all those years ago.

That is not a PlayStation exclusive look for him unfortunately. The look of Pepper gets progressively worse the further you go into the Island games.
Psx games used to be WAY worse than their pc counterpart just because of pc capabilities. I played rock raiders, lego island 1 and 2 on the pc and absolutely loved them. Too bad caddy had the psx versions.

I had some of the Knight's Kingdom sets as well. There were even some kinda entertaining Flash games on the Lego website for Knight's Kingdom once upon a time. My favourites were Boulder Crusher and Tower Climber (very imaginative names, there, Lego).

Yeah but gameplay would suffer since it would have to load the whole level in afterwards, that's something modern games suffer from is the quick loading screens and the level runs like shit for 5 minutes, just have a 2 minute loading screen so the gameplay can be super smooth.

Yeah same. I remember playing this on my laptop way back and it never really had much problems that hes having with the ps1 version. The lighting especially wasnt much of a problem either at least from what I remember
The PC version of Lego Island 2 is clearly superior in every way.
It's almost as if the PS1 version was the PC version, but all of the game's data was transferred to a bunch of ultra cheap casette tapes, and then those casette tapes were duplicated, and then the duplicates were duplicated, causing slight generation loss.
Then they repeated that generation loss duping process on progressively shittier equipment and tapes 25 more times, reloaded all of the code that wasn't corrupted beyond repair onto the PC they were developing it in, and changed the formatting of the code into something that the PlayStation could read.

God, this game was so much fun on the PC, I sat there playing it for hours a day!
The problem with game consoles back then and still now sometimes is that some companies simply copied all the assets or game files from a PC game and put them on a console that was inferior in so many ways. A great example is Duke Nukem 3D on the PS1 the framerate is slow and graphics are grainy.
The PS1 was groundbreaking but didn’t match the most home computer in any way when it came to games.
