Arjen Robben has Bayern create a formation and style of play entirely around him. He had a hotspot where you know exactly what he was going to do but you couldn’t stop it. Bale is a good shout for honorable mentions. The 2 seasons he had for Spurs before joining Madrid was incredible. He was so Cristiano-like the way he was able to impose his will on games. Left, right, heading, free kicks, screamers. Every game he played seemed like something special was likely to happen. He won multiple trophies at Madrid but the way he was performing in the PL it's kinda sad he wasn't able to replicate all of it in La Liga.

Arjen Robben has Bayern create a formation and style of play entirely around him. He had a hotspot where you know exactly what he was going to do but you couldn’t stop it. You can’t tell me a goalie doesn’t know he’s curling it in from outside the box but you couldn’t stop it. For me he’s my favourite player of all time. Such a unique and mesmerising style of play.
Bale is a good shout for honorable mentions. The 2 seasons he had for Spurs before joining Madrid was incredible. He was so Cristiano-like the way he was able to impose his will on games. Left, right, heading, free kicks, screamers. Every game he played seemed like something special was likely to happen. He won multiple trophies at Madrid but the way he was performing in the PL it's kinda sad he wasn't able to replicate all of it in La Liga.
