I swear to you there's not one great save he made in that 11 game run, that's how dominant the defence was in that era. He was nowhere near as good for United as de Gea was. I think these guys took the whole “Cech injury caused him to decline” thing a bit too far. Yeah the injury obviously had its affects. But I don’t believe they really affected Cech like these guy are claiming. I think the whole Chelsea team in general was less dominant at the time and obviously that would include Cech. But I feel like these guys used Cechs injury here as a way to just say that Schmichel was better
Cechs injury was 2006 guys….literally near the beginning of his chelsea career. Went on to record the most clean sheets, win a champions league , premier league and various other trophies until 2014. You man are making a meal of the injury.

Shot stopping yes , but the rest of his attributes are shite. De Gea is a very one dimensional keeper, good shot stopper and that's it. Poor on his feet, very bad distribution and doesn't come out to catch the ball during set pieces and corners. There are many keepers better than him and are more complete than him.

Love the show boys! A little recommendation for voting though… I think it would be more accurate if you got all your 5 in front of you, then go through the whole list from 5-1 and that way there’s some players who are not missing out in the top 5 just because people have them in different order.
Grizz is really underestimating Ederson’s shot stopping capabilities! Alisson is more error prone, Ederson is excellent at shot stopping as well, it’s only because of Tite’s bias, people underestimate Ederson.

Tim flowers for Blackburn rovers literally along with shearer won the title for Blackburn that year! Flowers was amazing in goal that season and watch the game between Blackburn vs Newcastle at Ewood park. Flowers won the title with the Dave’s he made! He was in general a good goalkeeper

People do not comprehend how good Jens Lehmann actually was. Guy was a leader, a monster, good at penalties, commanding and an elite shot stopper. Lehmann would be number 6 for me behind Seaman. With De Gea, what I think about in my first thought is how many blunders he made. He has cost Utd loads of goals whilst also saving them from finishing below 10th so hard to call but he’s barely in top 10 for me
