  • This 30 minute practice focuses on a rhythmic breathing pattern, Sama Vritti (equal breathing) to create a calm mind. This can be so important when facing challenge or during busy times in our lives. And, if you have a history of trauma, learning how to find equanimity in your mind and a stable ground for your practice can help you learn to let go. This is about allowing rather than forcing anything. Enjoy.

    Poem from class:
Be Empty of Worrying by Rumi
    Be empty of worrying
    Think of who created thought
Why do you stay in prison
When the door is so wide open
Move outside the tangle of fear thinking
    Live in silence
    Flow down and down
    Into always widening
    Rings of being

I am so grateful for finding your practices Arielle. Such a different focus to other classes I have tried. I am a Play Therapist and needed something nourishing for me, more than just physical. This class incudes the head lift core exercise. It is the action that always makes me feel sick 🤔 always thought if was due to weekends bit no other core practices feel this way. Could it be emotional? Thanks 🙏

Nausea can absolute be emotional release, and can be found in a number of practises. I'd recommend Arielle's book, Yoga for Trauma Release, which goes in more detail on experiences like this. In short, its basically the reactivation of a past adrenaline response, allowing it to resolve in your nervous system.
