This video was spot on. Followed the whole procedure start to finish and was done in less than 30 minutes. No programming was necessary, everything worked again, window, side mirror, and remote locking. Perfect! I ordered genuine volvo OEM part, was about $350 new from EBay, and did not need any programming. Just plugged it in and it worked. Been without my window for two years. Who knew it was so easy to fix!

Thanks for the video. My Volvo is a 2010 V70 (last model year) and is similar but not exactly the same. I believe I would remove the door in the same manner. Oddly enough, my switch works fine when the door is open but does not work when the door is closed. Ever heard of this issue?
does this master switch need to be programmed in a 2003 ?

am i the only one thinking if Volvo made the last 2 clips he undid accessable from the top of the switch that this could be done without removing the door panel? and then it's 5-10 minutes tops.
No, there’s a screw inside holding the module
