God can use good and evil, especially even the evil that we do, to bring about his sovereign plan. This includes murder. See Romans 8:28. Also the story of Jonah can really illustrate how God can work past and even use our faults and sins to bring about good things.

I believe a lot of people having problem with this teaching not because God is unfair, it's because of the way humans look at death...
We tend to see death is the end of all things or something bad... To God I believe it's like saying going from one room of the house into another room of the house...
When a person graduates from high school for a lot of people this is the last time there will ever be a student in their life is this a bad thing or do they transition into adulthood???
Death is not the end of life it's just the beginning of forever...

Thank you for this video. I think that is a question that any of us who’ve been on the border of becoming a Christian have wondered. It’s taking me a long time to come to the understanding of why these things are allowed in the world. You make some really good points about why God kills - especially the first one, that we all die!I think the other thing that has been occurring to me about this topic and others in general about life is that after many decades here you start realizing there’s no rhyme and reason for a lot of it. And there’s a form of acceptance that you have to finally get to. And that comes from understanding that God has a vision that is out of our reach. The Utopia that the secular or new age wants it’s not realistic and kind of delusional. Most of us have been deceived by what the world and the humankind thanks is achievable by her own hand. If you really look around you’ll see that centuries have gone by and we still keep doing the same things to each other and ourselves. There is a plan, we’re not privy to all of it, and it makes us question why God seemingly kills innocent ones. And until you dig a little deeper you will “wonder” why instead of know why. I think that a lot of us are in denial of the underlying brutality of being on this planet, but if you stop being entertained and distracted you’ll begin see the truth and it makes it easier to understand.

Yes, we all will die. But this doesnt justify making the death of some so incedibly painful. Also, all those people that grew up somewhere in india are doomed if they grow up in another religion. They might even die before knowing that christianity is an option. And even if they hear the message, they have no reason to convert, since god doesnt bother to reveal himself, or even give hints of his existance. These poor people from different cultures are all going to endlesly suffer in hell. Thats not free will! God is either evil or unable to change this.

The thing is, God isn't taking his people (I assume you mean causing them to die).
I am in a difficult position between the two, having a desire to depart and to be with Christ, which is far better. Nevertheless, to remain in the flesh is more needful for your sake. Having this confidence, I know that I shall remain and continue with you all for your joyful advancement of the faith, so that your rejoicing for me may be more abundant in Jesus Christ when I am in your presence again.

Allen, I want to thank you, buddy. Today, I got into a huge hurricane of confusion when I was studying this verse "I did not come to abolish the law, but to fulfill it." I was "Okay, how can this reconcile with the fact that we can't imagine Jesus being in favour for stoning or killing?" And to be honest, I still haven't found a clear explanation, however, with your explanation, I do admit that no one deserves to live before God. And as God, he has all right to kill whoever he wants to, so, I'm more in peace, I'd say. But I still have some doubts about how Jesus and how Jesus (God) is showed in the old testament.
Edit: People, I was in this confusion, and decided to shut off my phone, not to watch any video and go to my Father, and directly ask him. I was honest, I said how I couldn't reconcile Jesus with the God presented in the old testament, I was honest and asked Him to help me in my doubts. And while I was praying I said "I know God that different situations require different sides of you." And that just stroke me. And after I prayed I thought "Those people in the old testament, like Israel, they were extremely rebellious. They could see the sky literally fall down for them that they would still disobey God. The way Jesus fulfilled God's will would never keep those people walking straight. And then I thought...hmm, yes, different situations require different sides of God, that doesn't mean he changes. And I thanked Him for this, I still have to study more and ask Him for more guidance, but that for sure ceased my confusion! Thanks, Jesus :)

Before I left the faith I had really considered the implications of the Gospel of Thomas. It's and ancient book from a Thomas about the life of young Jesus, it's exemption from biblical cannon is still debated now and again but anyway. - In it Jesus' early life is very much like that of old testament God. At one point a child falls off a building and dies. Everyone gathers around and Marry asks Jesus if he did it. Jesus says he doesn't then commands the child to get up, he does and says Jesus had nothing to do with it.
Jesus experiences childhood, human life, and from the gospel of thomas we see him growing up literally and figuratively. It means that Jesus had to become human to empathize with humans. This philosophically makes sense as God would require such an experience to understand life as a human.
Think about it like this, god is all knowing, but does he know what it is like to not be all knowing? Does God know what it is like to be limited? When God dishes out punishments in the old testament, it is consistent with a god acting proportionally to a higher being, but not mere humans. After God incarnates and lives as a human, he doesn't smite the same any more, because he learned about life as a human through being one.
Then I actually looked at the faith and lost it but that is neither here nor there.

God stopped the Amelek people from putting their children in harm's way and sacrificing them. He put his foot down and said you are done. (Because God has done it, and ordered his followers to do it.)
      Really, let that sink in.
You know, it's funny that so many Christians go around calling abortionists "baby killers," like it is a bad thing.
Because that should be considered a compliment of the highest order, should it not? Since God is a baby killer too!
...You do realize that God can do *anything* , don't you? (I believe they call it "omnipotence")
Therefore God could have resolved the conflict with the Jews and Amalekites *without* killing babies.
      But why didn't he?
Well, apparently because murdering an infant is a wonderful thing!
--Then again, why is "Thou shalt not kill" a commandment, when at times God commands his people to murder infants?🤔
Shouldn't they remove that commandment, or at least add an asterisk next to it?
      Or maybe it should read
"Thou shalt not kill, unless I tell you to slaughter infants and commit genocide. Then it's perfectly ok."

The Bible's description of God makes more sense if we see it not as the description of a being that is by our definition perfect, but as an attempt to explain in terms of a god the world they knew, and the past as they thought it had happened, So their ancestors killed children, or they thought they did, and to justify them they made it a divine command; and the terrible things they saw happen around them, happened because they were God's will.

These are two questions I was wondering about when you talked about babies: 1) Does this possibly come into play at all when it comes to the question of abortion? I'm wondering how I would respond if someone asked me why we can't allow abortions if God allowed the death of babies/infants or something along those lines. 2) my second question is about God showing no favoritism, I'm not sure how to word my question, but maybe my question is, because God does not contradict Himself, we know that His acts are not out of favoritism but justice? His acts of preserving the life of His own but terminating the lives of others, we are all children of God aren't we? But some choose to be disobedient and go astray? Thank you!

    • @kbg12ila
      @kbg12ila 2 года назад

I'll answer your second question. God doesn't show favouritism. It was the Israelites that he chose to bring every human back into a good relationship with himself. And as shown in this video there were some gentiles that he saved for showing kindness, and there are also many examples of Israelites being killed for rebelling against God.
Now I'll answer your first. As it was said in this video. God kills all people. He chooses when life is given and when it is taken away. Abortion is us taking the life of a being with our own hands for personal reasons... God's reasons are always good, and God doesn't pleasure in taking any life, and God is God. He creates life and be takes it away.

Here is my take on it.
It all depends on how you interpret the Seed of the Serpent in Genesis 3:15 as well as the 1st 4 verses of Genesis 6 (The sons of God part)
My personal conclusion after doing some research in different cultures is that the Sons of God are the Fallen Angels(The History Channel call them 'ancient aliens') which sinned mentioned the Letter of Jude.
Their sins include getting it on with human women to form the Nephillim(Giants), which can be the seed of the serpent, blending different species of animals together, hence all the different chimera creatures in mythologies (what did the ancient people see that we don't?). This also explains why God deemed that 'all flesh was corrupted' leading to the inhabitants only thinking evil and decided to give a final grace period of 120 years before flooding the world which is also seen in various mythologies.
Which would make sense since God said that the seed of the woman will crush the serpent's head, the serpent would want to mess up the seed of the woman (Shout out to Rob Skiba for this).
The same thing applies to God telling Israel to destroy the nations, they were from Canaan, which were known for having giants, they also seem to have done the whole mixing animal species together hence there is a Law in the Torah that says 'do not mate different kinds of animals together'.
God saw what these hybrid creatures did and since he promised not to flood the world again, need to get rid of them in different methods (notice that they were also given about 500-600 years before Israel was told to wipe them out).
It would also explain why God tells Abraham, Issac and Jacob not to take wives from Canaanites since their genetics are not purely from Eve.
So from this I realised that the Old Testament as a whole also shows a cosmic chess match between God and Satan, God's goal is to bring Jesus from the pure genetics of Eve (Gen 3:15) and Satan is to try to prevent it.

@@varunifernando2239 the 120 years can be to get them to stop whatever they were doing which end up being genetically impure. Also to build the ark. The book of Jasher which is referenced in the Bible twice says that God told Noah to preach 115 years, the remaining 5 years were used to build the ark.
As to how the nephilim came back, likely because Ham's wife is not genetically pure, either that or the civilisation lead by Nimrod found the ancient technology and redid the whole genetics mess.

Wow. Yes. That's exactly why. You hit the nail on the head. These ppl were of satan's seed. Corrupted hybrid humans who's nature was an abomination in Gods eyes. He let them flourish hoping that would turn from their evil ways.. but their nature wouldn't let them and God wasnt about to let their wicked Influences end up eventually corrupting and tainting the blood line he was to birth himself through via Jesus Chist. Sooo they had to go. Like the brother said... all babies go to heaven. And judging from what we dealing with in this world now... they was given mercy I could only dream of. A free ride to heaven and never experiencing pain. Good deal.

    • @freegracetruth77
      @freegracetruth77 10 месяцев назад

Yes, and its important to note that satan can only do what God allows him to do and his power and vision is limited. It doesn't matter what satan does to destroy God's plan, God's plan is always greater. This is seen in the new testament, when we are told how satan entered judas to make him betray Jesus to get him arrested and killed, so as to hinder God. In the end, satan seemingly succeeds in getting the messiah killed through crucifixion, but probably didn't realize that this was God/Jesus' plan all along, to let himself be crucified for the sins of the world. And satan just ended up playing into God's hands. Doesnt matter what satan does. God is always more than a step ahead. The devil plays checkers, while God is playing 4d chess

People often don't get that God is Judge. Meaning He can give and take life for He is Creator. We cannot judge God by human standards also because God isn't human to be judged even. Meanwhile, people complain about God handling judgments and when He doesn't it's also a problem. Look at the court system even, with the judge sending inmates to death row all the time. Look back at history and the murders mankind has committed whether socially, politically or even religiously. So much blood has been shed. No one talks against that even in the killer on death row, who took ONE life, right? They agree for that person to die. People are hypocritical in their viewpoints also. When Christ came, grace became widely and deeply available to all mankind. Before Christ, God had to be the Judge He is to keep order in the world and also bring forth The Messiah through mankind, spotless and unblemished. Hope this helps someone here reading get some better understanding.

This video could have been summarized in one sentence.
“God kills us whenever he wants because we are his property.”
We are made by him, there he gets to do whatever he wants with us.

The child can destroy and rebuild whenever the child pleases.

@@EPICLOGIE the absurdity of that statement.
“We rebel so he kills” “but its okay now because jesus died for us and we can go to heaven if we get killed”
That is straight up tyranny and manipulation.
Opposing arguments should sound more like “God is the giver and taker of everything.” and “Death is just a natural process, and since God is of that nature,
God’s killing is equivalent to people dying during tsunami or volcanic eruptions”
Either way, he kills when he wants, he creates when he wants, and he saves whoever he wants because everything is part of his “plan”.

Read Jeremiah 1:4-9 in verse 9 GOD (YHWH/the LORD) touched Jeremiah, but in verse 4 the WORD comes and speaks (this is JESUS)
So, in verse 9 is the HAND of JESUS.......
Also in Zechariah 12:10 (GOD speaks:) And they will look at ME (YHWH), whom they PIERCED..........
Also Isaiah 45:23/Philippians 2:10.... Also Jonah 1:1 And came the WORD of the LORD to Jonah and SAYS (Again Jesus comes and speaks.....) and afterwards Jonah was flee from the LORD's Presence... Thus means that the WORD of the LORD is the LORD HIMSELF (the Holy Spirit is the Presence of CHRIST/GOD, thus means that the Holy Spirit is the LORD Himself - 2 Cor. 3:17, Job 33:4, Psalms 104........)

    MY VIEW IS THIS:
If I were a baby during that time period and understood the choice to die quickly by the sword or to be sacrificed (burned alive) by my parents to a false god, I’d choose the sword .... same choice as an adult now! 😬

Yeah! It’s all about choice. God give us the right to choose. In this case, it was probably considered normal because everyone else was doing it .... kind of like today’s culture 😔

      Dear jadelemetal games,
I guess it depends on your definition of normal. My normal is to strive each day to love and honor my Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ. The love and peace He so graciously gives me is indescribable! The Lord says in Luke 10:27, that if we love the Lord our God with all our heart and with all our soul and with all our strength and with all our mind, and our neighbor as ourself, we will live (eternal life). If this is your normal, I absolutely agree with you 😊 Keep your eyes on Jesus, my friend. Lots of ❤️

This was the best answer I ever heard about this question. Thank you for stating that these babies will be in heaven and that if they had lived, they will have gone to eternal hell. Not sure why others dont answer this way !!!1
