I've done a lot of puzzle solving in my time, degree in physics, decade working as a programmer for a bank, and I collect puzzles and do some app development as hobbies. Fable's puzzle solving skills remind me a lot of mine. If the first idea doesn't work, try hitting it or throwing it, then go off in a huff until another approach comes to mind.
Can we still send toys for Fable? I hope so

It's funny how she recognized instantly that all those feathers only hinders her assessment of the toy 😂
I swear, when she holds her beak open after figuring something out, she looks like she's smiling. And that little happy growl is the best.
I never thought a creature without lips would be capable of smiling, but here we have it folks, Fable the Raven displaying what can only be called a “Shit Eating Grin” XD
I know birds don't emote the same way people do, but there are a couple times where she looks like she's just having the time of her life.
Fable: The toys are nice but packing peanuts are the best thing and I must be buried at once
Apparently, Fable is part cat... more interested in the packing material, than the contents actually intended for her!

i love that after she was done playing with all her toys, she had the :D look on her face the whole time. she was clearly very happy with all the new toys. Boop Boop!

@@billybilodeau1991 Alright well here's the story then. I used to play Diablo 3, a computer game. My handle on there was just "Hex". I joined this community, and started playing a lot with another player, who'se name was CasualsHex (har har). people used to joke that we were either both the same person, or brothers or something. then the joke became "well if he's the casual one, you must be the serious one. So i changed my name to "SeriousHex" and its just stuck with me all these years later.

I love how she buried her feather so no one could take it away. So cute, she loves her toys.
not sure, but it looked like she also buried some food there? Or am I getting that wrong? To me it looked like the feather was a marker to find the food later

@@sawart6798 she buried the popcorn packing as well as the feather, I think because she liked them. Only she knows. Anyway, she loved her toys and it was so sweet of those children to send her toys. She and the children are very smart and kind and it was nice seeing her so loved, excited and happy.
The response to the bracelet was adorable. "Yes, I see the color snake. No I don't want to touch it. No, color snake, you belong, ON THE GROUND."
I would like to see her open a 2lb box of packing peanuts and colored feathers.
Yeah I just came from this other channel, this guy feeds ravens all the time where he lives. With various roadkill too. He said the funniest one to use is dead snakes. They debate for hours or so whether or not to eat it. Even baby snakes. It is their instincts wired into them.
Honestly reminded me of trying to give a cat a toy in a box they can open themselves only to have them promptly dump the toy out and sit in the box instead. Just that whole, "Not sure about the toy but I love the packaging" thing is so similar lol.
I've managed to get a wild crow to come to my window looking for food. No hand feeding, sadly, that's unlikely to happen, but it brightens my day when it taps on the glass with its beak, or leans over the gutter to see if I'm in. Most wild crows seem to be too wary of humans to have such interactions, so I feel lucky.
I once had a crow couple raising their little in a nest outside my window. The parent crows noted we’ve been feeding pigeons and sparrows on a top of air conditioning unit, and one day they just came gently tapping on our window. So we started putting out some leftovers and fish guts, meat fat etc. Of course we had to cover the ac unit top =) But it was worth it! Seeing parent crows come to us every day and then feeding their small ones just 5 m away was so heartwarming

Fable is a vandal at heart, the way she attacks things is quite brutal.
Funny how she hid the green feather to keep it for later.
She looks so beautiful and glossy and I love the way she drops her head and fluffs her feathers, it’s like flirting 😂
She seems to be very happy in her new home and I’m looking forward to lots more vids.

im not sure if you noticed but she actually hid the meat (ravens have a pouch in their mouth to store food if they dont want to eat it right away) in that corner and covered it with rocks and the feather

We now know Fable's possessive 'this is mine' growl. I think she needs some fir branches to hide her special things under.

I’m sure she has her laid-back moments, but Fable seems like a very active bird whose corvid brain is always buzzing. She’s a blast to watch. Mwah and boop boop to her!
I started feeding the crows . Actually if I don't have leftovers I fix them something . Other day I had 5 drinking soup out of a bowl .

I have to admit I've never thought to much of ravens until I started watching your channel. I'm amazed at Fable's intelligence.She really is a sweetheart.
What a crack up! They were all such cute toys but she really went after the first one with the feathers...it seemed to really hold her attention. On the last one (packing peanuts) she so reminded me of a child who has more fun with the packaging than what was in the package. 🤣😂🥰

I would imagine keeping a bird that smart mentally stimulated would be quite a challenge, but looks like the audience was more than up to it. She finished up a pretty happy, excited birb and that's always wonderful to see. Fable is well loved and taken care of and she knows it!

The level she attacks these puzzles is just amazing. It just shows how smart they are nothing is by accident she is just driven to discover all she can about what ever you place in front of her. It is a joy to watch her work. I am going to place puzzles out for the crows that are in our park see how they attack problems
