@@Erikhow I mean the show cameras are separate from the cameras they were talking about being the ones the bar usually has. While this show is not staged, these moments probably aren't happening real time and are being presented to them after a couple days of surveillance.
@@George_vv Bar Rescue is absolutely staged, it’s how these entire shows exist. To stick a show camera into what can be assumed to be a woman’s bathroom is highly illegal no matter what the circumstance, so a camera person can’t just walk in there with a big rig without either having the door completely open or having the bathroom staged for people to do this particular act. There have been a multitude of bars that have exclaimed how the show is staged, and it’s just literally how reality TV works. People are told to play characters in order to fulfill episode narratives and such, Bar Rescue is no exception.
The camera wasn't in the bathroom. It was outside the bathroom door looking in. It wasn't a mounted camera either it was a camera-man. This stuff is definitely staged/hamed up. but I don't think they have any cameras in the bathroom.
What is amazing is that the cleaning materials actually do most of the work you just have to use them. It just takes literally only an hour a week to clean a different area thoroughly along with the after shift cleaning. The bare minimum.
I love the last one. I can't believe they pretended the owner isn't a drunk. The comment the employee makes, explains the problem. If they admitted the truth...
How do they keep their composure when they hear “cockroach” in their bar? I’d immediately start gagging and panicking! That’s an emergency extermination situation! Do they not even worry about bringing roaches home in their work bags? Even just eating something a roach just walked over can make you sick! That’s straight up disgusting to just treat them as simple house flies! Unbelievable!
Sometimes I'm baffled by the people on this show who are defensive about things. Bro you asked to be on the show! If you weren't screwing up, you wouldn't be on the show! Why you fighting about it?
Sometimes it's not the owner that reached out to Bar Rescue. A lot of times the bar owner is a drunk who gets trashed at their own bars on a regular basis. So I could see some owners getting surprised when Jon Taffer shows up and gets upset when Jon unloads on them.

If you don't already know reality TV-including this show-is staged and choreographed, then I have a bridge to sell you. In fact while it remains technically unscripted, the staff and extras are fed a lot of lines by the crew .. casting directors, story producers etc., write "unofficial" scripts for each shoot and coach employees on how best to deliver the lines (especially in response to Jon). Because just like bars & restaurants, corporate/network TV is (obviously) a business, with an objective of high ratings & revenue-which gets driven by an entertaining show
@@BIGLON-cf1ul "Nevertheless"? OP wrote specifically, that it's entertaining....so, you're in agreement (?) Several years ago btw I used to believe the show was more genuine and spontaneous, 'organic'....just more authentic & real, like a documentary.. then, the court cases began popping up. Now we know, due to judgements against the production company and large settlements by Taffer's attorneys, that the whole show is completely staged from beginning to end. It's all documented. For example owners are directed to sit and do nothing but drink so they appear lazy, employees are told exactly what to say and how to behave etc, etc. Production crew arranges the entire inside of every business, deciding what will happen and how dirty to make it...adding bugs when necessary etc. Then Jon and his team get to "react" to everything as though it's "real / truth", when in actuality it's all a total set-up. Because in the end, if there was no exaggerated dramatic narrative/storyline each episode, nobody would watch it.
This is completely off topic, but Lisamarie is so fine, especially when she gives Jon those side eyes. On top of that, she has that mature deep sultry voice and she's a woman who knows how to get things done.
