Winter is coming... Bring out the woollies! Very nice jumper. Apart from the navy, these were also a favorite piece of kit for many RAF pilots during WWII. Among my own little collection of winter gear is an Austrian army Dachstein jumper. Super Quality for surplus prices. Bought that one last year for 25 euro. Take care and until next time.
I smiled throughout this video 😁 Excellent jumper. I do like long neck garments to keep my knacked neck warm. I have an underarmour long zip neck on right now. Snug fit is a must! Thank you sir 🐕
I really like the look of these jumpers. That one fits you better then the other nauticalia one you have. I have now tried two types but have been forced to give up on them as being 6ft 3 they are always too short on me. I have two duffle coats. Have you got one. They are excellent and keep me warm on bat surveys. Thanks for another great video; you're fast becoming a living legend!!
Ayy Thanks mate, means a lot seriously. I’ve actually got some truly brilliant plans for the future. I want to take the channel deep into history and culture as well as just the more ‘recent’ vintage items. The nauticalia jumper ended up having some unexpected flaws that were mainly down to the fact that it was way bigger than a ‘small’ should be and stretched, this one is an amazing product. It’s a shame you haven’t had much luck with them though. I’ve been keeping an eye out for a duffle coat for a decent price and in my size as well as genuine pea coats but I also have a lot else I’m looking to explore.
@@giacomolamanuzzi2231 I picked an old marks and spencer duffle coat in a charity shop. It’s amazing quality and has many years left. One thing too watch out with wool is the clothes moth caterpillars!! It’s a good idea to freeze the garment every now and again. Check out some of my videos. Some nice old vintage stuff you may like. They are very amerturish compared to yours; just a bit of fun. Look forward to you next film, best wishes
Sorry to hear you have struggled to find the right fit due to your height. It may be worth taking a look at ours. With the Owner's husband being 6'4", Sophie is always mindful of the taller physique when creating The Biggs Collection.
Glad you enjoyed the video! I recorded this back in September when visiting my girlfriend, if you do grab a Stanley Biggs, use the promo code LamanuzziBiggs10 for 10% off. If you enjoy history, give my latest video a try and let me know what you think👍
Glad you enjoyed it and a very good choice. Those are my Swedish army boots, they can be found pretty readily on eBay. At some point I’ll be doing a video covering all my boots
Hey man glad you enjoyed the video, it’s a Dutch army ikr jacket, I bought mine on eBay and I believe you can still find them around the internet but finding anything bigger than a size small is very rare, it’s the sleeves that are the issue, any smaller and mine would be too small. You can of course get reproduction british ikr jackets buts they are in more of a khaki brown
That’s a good question, it really does depend on your threshold for woolen garments. I’ve been wearing wool for years, I am accustomed to wearing most woolen garments such as shirts or trousers on my bare skin but often wear an under layer such as a vest or undershirt. As with this jumper, I often wear it against my skin. It’s definitely not very itchy (compared to some other woolen garments) but it isn’t silky smooth either. It’s 100% wool so there will always be that slight prickly feeling when you first put it on bare skin. I actually don’t mind this at all, I quite like that comforting, warm feeling of pure wool (but that’s just me) in short, if you aren’t used to wearing wool, you might feel it a bit until you are conditioned to it, if this really bothers you, just wear something underneath. I believe there’s a certain amount of mentality here as well, if you try your best to accept the garment for what it is and tell yourself it’s not that bad, you’ll be conditioned in no time. Hope this helps👌

The jacket is a Dutch army ike jacket, I think there are some still available on eBay but in small sizes, this one just about fits me

Hello
Does this jumper itch ?

Do you live in Norway?
Can you make video about Hong Kong gang jackets
Where did you film this video??
But is it itchy??? I have an older english Sub sweater by Niffi and it's quite itchy, I'm hoping to find an alternative.
Great video! Kinda strange they decided to name a submariner sweatshirt after a pilot lol, as if there aren't any famous/heroic British submariners.
Don’t worry they have a green one named after Ernest Shackleton 👍
