Thank you Kevin. Yes all good here mate, hopefully the same for you too. Hopefully there will be more entertainment, of course by tomorrow everyone may be driving like angels! I may not film too much tomorrow actually as I have been tasked with most of my day at an animal reclamation centre! In another 24 hours I might be a veggie! All the best mate.
There's a mixed bag of nuts in this compilation. Unfortunately, most of them rancid... Rex is back! 👍🏼👍🏼😁😁 1:51 That was a real slow burn, that one! 🤣🤣 Goes to show, yet again, some are clueless & some have a very keen eye. 3:15 Repeat three times... fast! Norfolk and Chance, Norfolk and Chance, No Forkin' Chance! 👍🏼🤣🤣🤣 4:00 "Oi, Dave, you can't camp there, mate" 🤣🤣 It's always the lefties that "fall off" when you haven't sufficiently tightened your nuts. 7:46 It's these long descents that speed can come back to bite you. One day, the driver behind you may have a not so nice meeting, somewhere down there, with Mr/Mrs/Ms Numpty... 9:15 That brings back, in sharp focus, a prang I recently witnessed. Same situation. A car turning to their left, from the road on the right, didn't look left as they pulled out. Mrs Numpty, with her dogs, was overtaking several vehicles at once. It was messy. Both driver's were a little worse for wear. Mrs Numpty lost one of her unrestrained dogs to the dash. 13:46 As soon as he pulled out, I knew he would be a pain in the arse. It's bad enough with car "drivers" doing this, let alone a "professional". MSD = More Stupid Driving... from him... What's with all the Muppets running around on such an overcast, dark day, without lights? It's good (really rotten!) to see the ever expanding MGIF Club has all it's members out, doing what they do best (worst!).
That woman was a slow burner wasn't she, but she got there in the end. I never saw that at the time as I was talking to her friend on the opposite side. Rex did though but he said nothing! Why folks take that chance of passing over junctions is beyond me and most folks with any sense I'd presume. That hill where the artic is pushing me is on the A515 it would not be such a big deal on it's own but the previous few miles you have dropped down a fair way so the brakes are hot before you tackle that drop, then of course there is nowhere to go at the bottom as you won't make the S bend at higher speed, 40mph is pushing my comfort level when loaded around those bends. Quite a few dumb lorry drivers in this hopefully this is not a growing trend. All the best Kevin thank you for another epic comment.
@@cloudmaker The slow burners are great value. The sudden change in facial expression is hilarious. I thought that was much steeper than it looks. I'd imagine a few taking the "racing line" if they had the opportunity. Otherwise, they'd have Norfolk and Chance of staying upright and making a mess. (I had to! 🤣🤣)
How you doing mate, Rex fan base is getting big. a bout a minute in you were on the A525 where was that, I know it from Whitchurch to Wrexham and from Wrexham to Ruthin, Denbigh , St Asaph, Rhuddlan and in to Rhyl. There are some bad wagon drivers out there that one driving with no marker, side and head lights on. The one that got me was that Ford Focus pulls up on the kerb at the traffic lights when you need to take a wide right turn. That JCB on the dual carriageway with no flashing ambers should not be on the road with a lot of fast traffic. The best one is the hi viz Norfolk and Chance, the trike and the Mini. Look after your self and have a good week, take care mate
Hello Shaun, all good here mate hope the same for you, hope your Dad is still recovering OK. The A525 was coming back into Staffordshire. That 3 wheel bike might have been a 'Spyker'?? or similar. Glad you liked the hi viz old guy, he told me he had another one at home Suffolk and Watt! 🤔😮🤣🤣🤣🤣Take care Shaun and have a great week.
Black Scania. Did he do his walk around before setting off?? Truck pushing you downhill is a Rolls Canhardly. Rolls down one side of the hill and can hardly get up the other side. Stay safe.
Hello Jamie that's a good one that and very apt! Some of these truck drivers see that this is only a 2015 motor, only kept as it was the gaffers wedding transport, all the rest are 2 years or younger, anyway this one has had the engine done and it was uprated at the same time so goes much better than it used to. Consequentially it takes some by surprise, especially as it's manual box is much swifter than the auto on the hills. All the best.
The Rolls Canhardly brings back memories! My father told me about that in the late 1950s when I was growing up in Australia. Hadn't heard it since then!
@@johnfh There's nothing wrong with your memory at least then. I can't seem to remember much of the 50's......oh wait.....I wasn't born then! That's why! 😉😂😂🤣🤣Thank you for making me feel younger, well a little bit anyway. Thank you for the comment John, all the best.
Was that town decked out with red, white and blue dressed up for Trooping the Colour? The truck behind you going downhill knew he needed as much speed as possible to help him get up the other side! The car that passed you at a junction...was it a Beast Mode Wanker? I'm looking to you to expand my knowledge of British "naughty" words...time to get creative!!! What is a "JCB"? I hope you enjoyed your weekend and had a Happy Father's Day!!
My goodness what is a JCB indeed? Only the worlds best selling backhoe/loader machine. Many have copied CAT and Volvo and the like but the original design was created just a few miles from here and they are believed to be in every country in the world. They make loads of stuff nowadays, including electric and hydrogen powered machines. They have had the worlds fastest backhoe loader, fastest diesel powered car and worlds fastest tractor. Instead of me going on, just type JCB into your search engine. Coincidently have been to the home estate of the Bamford (JCB) family this week, just a few thousand acres behind the original factory. All that bunting is usually up in Ashbourne every summer time, to celebrate lots of different things going on in the town, from carnival to various festivals they hold there, they are trying to make it more for the arty brigade rather than the 'working man' that built the place. Going down that steep hill, which has claimed many lives in my short time, there is a small village and an S bend in the bottom, so too much speed means you'll never see the climb at the other side. Several trucks a year never make it as far as the bottom of that hill. Yes I've had a lovely weekend, we've seen all our boys. Have a good week.
@bazzacuda_ Hello there, ah you speak with local knowledge I see. All correct too including the JCB which is of course a world beating legend and forward thinking design and machine manufacturer. Last week I was lucky enough to drive through a large part of the Bamford's private estate. Have done in the past but no longer do, as there is little or no action and their rules are designed to stop you from doing it easily. For instance you can not put a video on to any social media site as they will not consider it at all. The real joke with this is that I later found out that Derbyshire, like other forces have dedicated sections that gain prosecutions just from uploads onto social media sites. So as long as they find it themselves that's fine. One case a few years back locally was one such when a couple were both prosecuted after filming themselves driving through Derbyshire at sometimes double or more the speed limit in a sports car. Of course they uploaded it! The thing about this is I could do that on video editing to make it seem real as I've made the odd fake video myself, but of course in my case I'd keep the real footage as defence!
