Nice ride. I have a 2019 Lariat same color. Great truck. Been thinking about leveling it and now I see how good yours looks I’m gonna do it. And look into that protective film as well. Thanks.
I’ve had clear bra put on my 2020 when I bought it last year. After a year, so far so good. rock chip suck and they happen quickly. My loaner truck from the dealership already had chips. it had barely a thousand miles on it. Wise investment.
I have the same issue with my active air dam I have only had for 3 months. If you search for 2021 f150 active air dam issues, you will see threads with other users having the same problem. After two dealers and several calls to ford they are finally replacing it within warranty. One dealer wanted to charge me $800 stating it was outside source until I showed them proof.
For your touch screen glitches try turning down your display brightness. With other vehicles I’ve noticed the extra heat from being on high for better visibility causes intermittent glitching. Turn it down and that should solve your problem.
I'm thinking about switching to Ford from my Chevy I got the 6.2 and I love that motor but I did a few things to get rid of the cylinder deactivation and stop-start and now it's getting like 14 miles to gallon. I know at the forge are pretty powerful also and much more efficient and I do like the interior much better in the F-150
Which level did you go with on your old Lariat? Looked at a few on 33’s today and they still seem to have a slight rake to them. 305 55r20 Ridge Grapplers didn’t look as good as the 295 60r20’s. No cutting or rubbing? Love it 👌🏼
I just bought my 23 F150 Lariat 5.0 in Iconic Silver with the 3.31 gears 2 weeks ago. Just ordered a 2 inch level and 295/60/20 Toyo at3’s with fuel assault 20x9 +19. I know my truck will feel more like a dog but hopefully it’s not that bad. I do absolutely no towing, just highway driving. (Live in rural Manitoba) Would have preferred 3.55 gears but they had $14,000 off my truck so I couldn’t pass up that deal. Will most likely be getting an Oz Omega tune also.
I’m really interested in these mud flaps. I have gone to all of the websites that sell these and all of them say they won’t fit my truck and won’t even give me the option to purchase. I have the same exact setup you have with the only exception being that mine is a 22. Can you send me the link that you used to purchase? Or any other info that you could offer to help me purchase this set up?
Beautiful truck. Any issues with the ride with the 2" leveling kit? Did you have to get the forward facing sensors calibrated? (active cruise/collision, lane departure, etc) I have a '21 XLT on order, will likely get pushed to a '22 any day now. I will add the same tires to the factory wheels.
Thanks man, as for the adaptive cruise, pre collision everything works great. I didn’t have to set anything, the speedo is good and even the adaptive headlights auto adjust themselves so there is really nothing I had to do after I installed the level!
Headlight housing from cracking? Lol. That would have to take a major hit.... Should of got the whole hood done. The front air dam has been noted by ford. Take it to the dealer, they will fix it.. The truck looks great though.
You must’ve wrapped the mirror caps? I have a black lariat sport on order with trailer mirrors and they assure me the mirror caps will be colour matched but I know they will be chrome...yours is the only one on the internet or in person I’ve seen with colour matched tow mirrors. I hate that they colour match the small mirrors but not the tow mirrors anymore!🤬
My truck came with trailer mirrors but I ordered the black mirror caps. For wheels on there they are 20x9 fuel rebels and Nitto ridge grapplers 295/60r20
Probably a dumb question I’m getting a lariat and want to level it do you use a level kit and lift kit or just leveling kit on the front and then bigger tires?
How much clearance do you have between your front tires and the wheel well? I have a similar set up. I feel like my tires poke out a bit more. Worried about rubbing after mud flap install. Also did you opt for the no drill brackets or no? And did you get the cut versions of the kickbacks or just regular I have 20x9+20 offset. 295/55/20 at3’s.
I have allot of room, no rubbing at all at full turn.. I’m running 20x9 +20 as well with 295/60r20’s.. I heard the normal gatorback flaps would rub for the 21’s that’s why i went with the kickback flaps that you drill on
@@Haven_Media did you use the no drill brackets to secure these? or just drill into the fender? also, which mudflaps are these? 12 wide? 14" and offset?
Did you have to install the the offset gatorbacks to avoid rubbing with the 34" tires? I was thinking about the regular gatorbacks, but now I'm not sure if they will rub with my 34s. Where did you get the gatorbacks with the offset?
@@Haven_Media really good to hear, I love the look of the bigger wheels, was just worried a little about performance. Good point about weight, something I will consider when going bigger.
Yah I will tell you I have a 2010 with the lil baby 4.6 v8 and my truck is a DOG on 34s. I’m going to rehear the thing. It’s nice to hear the newer ones can handle it
What level kit is this and tire size. I'm trying to do the same on my 2018. I'm also looking for the nitto ridge grappler. I have the 18inch rim. Thanks in advanced. Truck looks great
Are the wheels 20x9? What offset? Also what size nittos? Did the e rating nittos make it ride considerably tougher or not? We just picked up our lariat yesterday and love it, but I really want to change the tires and wheels, just worried about ride quality going from factory to 10 ply tires.
@@Haven_Media Beautiful truck and great setup! Can you share how tall the truck is? I want this exact setup on mine but garage opening is 83" so need to make sure it will fit before pulling the trigger.

You should be covered under the standard 3 yr 36K warranty from Ford...have them replace it.

Hopefully I'll get one some day !!

285/70/18 ?
285/65/18?

how bad your fuel milage went down after level wheels and tires?

Just go to a Ford dealership and ask for trailer mirror caps for a 21 F150 XLT.. all XLT’s come with the black caps
