This is actually one of the best anime episodes in general no questions asked...
Finally, the moment everyone was waiting for, the return of the Phoenix rising from the ashes
Reawakening is not just Kyuoma. It's Okabe maturing emotionally, he still is traumatized, but now not using his persona to cope, but to consciously enjoy life and give himself freedom of expressing emotions. He is now somewhat shy of it, and most likely can truly and fully be like this only to the people closest to him, acknowledging when he needs to be serious and where he can give hope to the others. Even the track in the back of this scene is a hopeful version of SG;0 main theme "messenger" with "Gate of Steiner" mixed in it. And... His lab coat looks so much better on top of his black shirt.
you give him too much credit. The real reason is simply the fact that Mayuri "dies" in this worldline as well. Thats's the whole reason he timeleaped so many times, so she would not die. If she dies, he just said screw it, back to timeleaping again. This world has no meaning if Mayuri is still dead

this moment was anime peak, and the irony is that... well.. for how amazing it is (the second part of the episode) it doesn't hold the candle in comparison to the vn counterpart(s) of this event that are off the charts on another league on so many levels. which honestly, speaks volumes on the work that has been done with such a cut down setup.
the first part of the episode on the other hand was such a nice surprise to those of us who played the vn first!

This is basically merging the “reawakening” scene from the Promised Rinascumento ending with the Vega and Altair ending, and while I kind of prefer them separate, they are the two required endings for a reason. Just letting you all know that Maho is 009, Kagari is 010 and Yuki is 011
You know, I watched the entirety of Steins;Gate and all the previous episodes of Steins;Gate 0, and I think the only episode that made me tear up a bit was 23A. Lots of emotional and depressing moments but I still didn't cry watching all the other sad episodes, but this one... the moment Hououin Kyoma gets punched out of Rintaro Okabe, that gave me goosebumps and that made me cry. I'm writing this right after watching that scene, and I can finally say that The GOAT is back!

I am watching this episode for 20th timr probably but im tearing up throughout the whole episode
In the VN Okabe asks Suzuha for a punch, which imo is more representative than daru because they had a very distant relationship in S;G 0, it was beautiful seeing how everyone witnesses the blow and realizes that Okabe wakes up, just take a look at that moment, you don't need to play the game
And there is no downer! Can ride the reawakening wave to the max lol!

it was worth sitting through the whole SG0 just for this episode alone
I love Zero to death but I wish to my core that this absolutely banger of an episode was implemented better into the finale instead of having episode 22 as a kind of decelerator. Nevertheless I still love it.

This is when 0 started feeling like the original show, the first 3/4 of this season feels like a different show to me. I didn't like it as much as season 1 because there was no Kyouma.
