I see lots of issues here but I’m still interested in learning exactly how this applies to women today. I think you are incorrect. The explanation I gave was much better. When they squatted down the hem of their garment covered their feet. I think your explanation is a bit silly. Ask your husband to drop his pants and I bet you it won’t cover his feet. It might cover his ankles but not his feet. Also, the pants the priests were commanded to make to cover their nakedness only covered their thighs, not their whole legs. They were basically underwear.
