And also to see pastor Stephen Bohr, because I love the way he teaches, and the way he explains the title of his sermons, I understand him very well, he's very clear and makes emphasis, I can listen to him all the time, and what I admire of him also is his voice, what more can I say about him, he knows the word. But, women only started wearing pants in the USA during WW2 while men were at war. So b4 the war women predominantly wore dresses and men wore pants. So to say that there are women’s pants now , remember that this only came about after the war. So does that make it right?

Pastors, the Bible says we are not to dress like men. Sis White talks about dress not pants for women.

Jesus didn't wear trousers either he wore a tunic or Toga with a outer robe. So please don't tell women to not wear trousers when men aren't supposed to wear them either.
True. As a women I feel uncomfortable not wearing leggings under a skirt because the wind can blow my skirt up.

I always believed this as well. Not to get vulgar but when men sit down you can see their privates on the chair, because they often sit with leg open wide. Also when they speak at the pulpit, they are raise on a platform and it can be uncomfortable sitting in front with their private in front of you. My father told me as a young child that woman look at his privates and I always remembered this and it came back to memory when I studied dress reform. I truly believe the men should wear a long tunic or similar as woman also wear a long covering.

I'd like to provide some evidence as to why men should wear pants and women should wear skirts.
#1. In Deut. 22:5 we are told that men should not wear women's clothes and women should not wear men's clothes.
Now there has to be some garment which "pertaineth" to men and something that "pertaineth" to women..... fundamentally. Otherwise the text is left to changing traditions and culture made by man's opinion.
#2. Pants are mentioned in the Bible under the name breeches and hosen in the KJV. These are old English words for pants. Breeches and hosen only ever apply to men.
Yes men wore some type of long robe or coat as well but this was not the main garment. Notice that a robes and coats are outer or layered clothing.
Now notice the term "gird up your loins"
2 Kings 4:29, 2 Kings 9:1, Job 38:3, Job 40:7, Jeremiah 1:17
This term only ever applies to men. What does it mean? It means to lift (or gird) "up" that outer long garment... which would be a robe or a coat type garment.... and tuck it into your belt or loins.
This is perfectly fine for a man but for a woman this would be indecent as we will see next.
#3. The word "discover" in connection with the word skirt only ever applies to women. It means to lift up and look under one's skirt which is shown to be a negative and shameful thing. Notice the following verses.
Jeremiah 13:22&26
Nahum 3:5
Deut. 22:30
To "discover" or look under a woman's skirt is to reveal her shame. Notice that when a man girds up his loins his shame is not revealed because he is wearing breeches or pants underneath which is actually his main garment and would be seen even if his coat isn't girded up because coats and robes are often left open in the front.
Note that it is acceptable for women to wear pants 9r tights under their skirts especially in cold climates. But it is not to be worn in the sense that it is "seen" as the main garment.
#4. There are some occupations which demand that you wear pants like police officers, firefighters etc. Logically we must conclude that women should not be filling these roles. Even without the subject of clothes, somethings just aren't designed for women. That used to be common knowledge but has become offensive now.
#5. The world's logic as it relates to clothes has become very immoral.
They say wear a dress and a suit when you get married but if you go to the beach both men and women can be clad in underwear which is basically nothing.
Or if you are an athlete, again it's okay to wear almost nothing to reduce drag if you are running or swimming.
So decency depends on whether you are in the court room or by the water. And we take pictures and post them online for all to see us our naked state.
The fact is that many fashion designers are themselves a part of the LGBT community and are pushing their agendas in their designs.
In this time we need more distinctive clothing between men and women, not less.
We need to get back to God's standard. Remember Acan in Joshua 7.
I believe that this truth will come to the fore before the return of our Lord. I pray that His people will be ready to receive it.

I'm very disappointed in Pastor Bohr's response to the wearing of pants by women. For someone who is so versed on the writings of Sister White, and has so much confidence in her as a messenger of God, I'm amazed he seems to have no clue on her stance regarding the matter.
He is not ignoring her stance. He is considering the principle of her statement, not the letter. When the Bloomer came out, women tried to use it in such a way to imitate the dress of a man.
Same here! Imagine you're a young woman searching the truth about dress, with the Holy Spirit convincing you to be modest and forsake pants (despite your love and comfort with it), and then you hear this, from someone you look up to, I mean there will be 99.5% chance that you would quiet your conscience and just wear pants.
Pants are to be worn by women though. It also disappointing to me to see those who use her writings to support NOT wearing pants. Her Testimonies are clear that both pants and skirts are to be worn, not one without the other.

Good Day poster I don't agree with you Adventist a woman can wear pants I don't know if you notice what is happening There's no distinction in the way our Church sisters dress from those that are not apart of the church and then if pants is allowed jeans pants has also allowed and only difference between the woman jeans and the man jeans is that the woman very tight if they wear it not tight then it will resemble a man's pants and so you won't see a difference and there's a big problem in the church with the woman wearing pants they're using it just like the world, tight. Do you remember how Sunday worship start, it's the same thing with woman wearing pants over the period of time they forget that it's not supposed to be tight. Therefore allowing pants wearing by woman open the door for what we are seeing now.

The bible says "work" and the work it was referring to was work that brings in income in order to pay tithe. Washing a dish or sweeping a little dust off the floor or striaghtening your bed isnt work.. These types of things people make an issue are similar to what the Pharisees did..heeping up laws on top Gods laws.
If a bus driver ( who is working on the Sabbath) didn't work on the Sabbath many wouldn't be able to get to church...🤔
My understanding of meat eating is that it cannot have the blood in it. Unless one is eating Kosher or Halal it should not be eaten.
Why eat a slaughtered animal drained of it's blood into a pale piece of dead animal when you can eat fresh vegetables, fruit, grains and nuts. God created we humans as vegans in the Garden of Eden. Man's ways lead to disease, let us listen and follow God's perfect plans that He set before us. Amen

Please give Pastor Bohr enough time to finish his train of thought without interrupting him. He loses his train of thought when he is quoting scripture. Sorry for saying this but I am a slow learner and I become confused easily.
Address why SDA celebrate Christmas when they KNOW it is not the day of the birth of Jesus but says it's okay but have a problem with people worshipping on Sunday as their Sabbath day.

SDA's don't have issue with others worshipping on the first day. We also worship everyday. The issue is with it NOT being the true LORD's day, but a day of man's substitution, and the secular way it is "spent"...not resting from work; but of course, it's ok to NOT REST on the first day, bc it IS NOT God's Holy Day. I'm not being sarcastic. Just wanting to live by God's Word, not man's tradition. Amen?!!
About Christmas...it is not that we would celebrate on a day that is not God's birthday. It is not commanded at all, as is the 4th Commandment. What is being celebrated is HIS BIRTH, but truly, the fact that Jesus IS, & was incarnated, & still has a human body (howbeit glorified), is reason to celebrate daily! For HE is in heaven "FOR US" (Heb. 9:24)...He is THE DAILY, Amen?!!
Christmas in Christian homes (SDA or other) SHOULD BE CELEBRATED DIFFERENTLY than the world, & for many of us, it is a fact. But many of us have non-Christian families at large, so we do our best to show Christ's love, at such a time. Personally, when the day falls on the Holy Sabbath, Sabbath far out-trumps the activities in which we might otherwise partake. Hope that answers your question. Those who love God take all these things seriously, & desire to do so for God's Glory...not our own agendas. All praise & thanks to God, forevermore, brethren.

We are not living in the 1800's. Neither are we living in ancient times, when MEN wore big long skirts and robes. I can be a feminine woman wearing modest pants. And be honorable to God. Nowadays, dress has become very androgynous for women and men. If you look into the history of Freemasonry and women's fashion, it's astounding how they have influenced change up to todays modern day wear. I have chosen to leave pants behind and go with skirts and dresses. My old wardrobe was basically mens wear with a women's fit.

Better yet, can men wear pants? They were not typical dress for men in biblical times to wear pants they wore robes and long dress like garments so going to scripture which is where you are going to dictate women apparel and accessories, men need to revive the same type of clothing for themselves before going after the women. The wearing of pants is not attributable to a man or husband, a man was described as a moral person with certain responsibilities. This notion that a man is only the man if he wears the pants is a worldly thought and not worth discussing about women as it is said sometimes that we know who wears the pants in that household.
I remember back in the 70’s working in the hospital and pantsuit uniforms were not allowed. Mini skirts and very shorten hems were the in thing, one evening the hospital administrator came by the nurses station and directly across from the desk was a nurse bent over rolling a patient’s bed up, her underwear clearly visible and I commented to the administrator that maybe it was time to allow the pantsuit uniforms, shortly thereafter she approved them with of course the top need to be long enough to cover the buttocks. Discernment.

Vegetables, Fruits and nuts in the time of Christ are the same as today just like the fish...That reasoning wasn't that convincing. Vegetables and Fruits are genetically modified in day an age as well.
